I like this version too. It's a different side of Perry Mason, just like the prequel, retelling of the current Mason. Adds more texture to the character.
Even if Mason‘s client in this episode had killed the victim, given the fact that he was almost ready to kill her, Mason could’ve carved out a very good case for self-defense
I like Raymond Burr but the 90-minute version is way too long, prefer this 45-minute format, also that we get to see a more personal side of Perry. My dad was a huge fan and read all the books, so I feel close to him when I see these, tho I'm sure he wouldn't have liked this episode. Lol
Thank you🙏🏽
My pleasure.
First seeing this show, its good. Thanks😊
👍
Another great episode 10/10👍👍👍
Thanks for posting these episodes. I watched them at the time in 1973 and thought it was a good series, not given a chance to gain an audience.
Glad that you are enjoying them.
Not picked up because its not much good.
First time for me,,unknown,,no tv in South Africa in 1973,😅,,
It is just so so! There really is only one Perry Mason, Raymond Burr!

You're welcome.

I mean, the guy was beating her in the parking lot of that drive-in restaurant
I know why she picked up that knife. To defend herself from the guy beating on her.

Why does that forensic scientist, look like a background character in a comic book?
If Mr. Burr didn't critique the series at the time, I doubt he had an opinion one way or another.
Well, at least Burger wasn’t a complete idiot this time. He made sure not to charge her with murder one
How did he know what drink to serve her? There were several bottles of booze in the picture.
Nah not the same as Raymon Burr.
No-one will ever be.
True, but still good, still very watchable, with excellent performances all round and good plots. Pity the producers didn't make more.
He is much better than burr who over acts and unreal
