Team Cap. Here is a man who prior to having any powers, tries to sacrifice himself on a grenade to save others, then sacrifices himself by crashing into the ice, then when Thor and Iron Man fail, stands crying alone to fight Thanos.
Plus, all his movies are good. As amazing at Iron Man 1 is, the other two are major duds
As Hannah said, there is only one right answer here, and it’s not the guy who created a robot that destroyed a country and whose guilt nearly destroyed the Avengers.

Team Iron Man! Tony Stark is a flawed person dealing with multiple personal traumas, but he turns it all around by using his money and genius to TRY to make the world a better, safer place. He’s not always successful, and sometimes he’s wrong, but that makes him human. Cap is a goody-two-shoes, worthy of wielding a tool of the Gods, but in my mind, that makes him so vanilla.
My husband is team captain America, but I am team Iron Man Tony Stark can do no wrong and he absolutely broke me in endgame the best looking avenger and I will always love him 3000

This has honestly got to be the hardest debate to ever settle. While in my fantasies, Capt America and Iron Man both want me bc I can’t choose which one to fantasize about 🤣 But as far as an Avenger goes…omg, they are both the quintessential super hero. Tony sacrificed himself, I don’t know what can top that. His father invented Cap’s weapon / protection. If it wasn’t for a Stark, Cap wouldn’t even have the shield. The only thing I’ll say against Iron Man is that he sort of gets to hide behind technology in war when the rest (like Cap) are using their full blown bodies to fight. Oh and point for Cap- he was willing to put his life on the line when he was still just a wee 5’2 110lb boy with no super serum 😂! It’s too hard. My head hurts on this one.
Another great episode. I was Team Cap, but I have to say... Ryno made some very good points. It has always bothered me that Cap went back and ended up with Peggy... her poor family (that got wiped out of existence). Tony is actually the better person of the two. His character growth is amazing, whereas Steve never lives-learns-grows as a person.
Gotta say, I’m with Hannah. Cap is my man. And apparently I was Team Iron Man at first, but Cap’s story is so endearing and Chris Evans and Hayley Atwell are just so perfect.
I love Cap, Lord knows I do! However, in this argument I am with Team Ironman 🙋🏾♀️
Infinity war is the best of all the MCU films. Hands down. A masterpiece. Team Stark. Mr Rogers can take his sneakers and get out of here.
Well my first thought was Captain America because like Hannah I have a soft spot for the 1940s. After all the discussion I am more confused than ever. Too many movies and tv shows to keep track of it all, but I love you guys! It was awesome to see you out on our coast. The lighting and background music on this one was great!
Check out a little movie from 1998 called Sliding Doors to redeem your opinion of Ms. Paltrows acting. The whole cast is great and the closing song by Warren Zevon is so fitting on many levels

Cap -- I'm with Hannah! I'm not a huge Chris Evans guy, I'm not sure Cap has a huge character development arc, but man, I appreciate that Cap embodies the BEST of who we're called to be (Not just as Americans, but as humans). Morals. Principles. Humility. Cap all the way.

@@RyanClavin Winter Soldier is 100% a better movie vs. First Avenger, but the "clip" feel of CA:TFA was done on purpose to mimic the feeling of 1940s serials. CA:TFA's director was Joe Johnston, who also directed The Rocketeer and bought that same style to First Avenger.

Team Black Widow. Natasha was the only OG Avenger to remain at her post protecting Earth when all the other Avengers f-ked off after the snap. And the only "thanks" she got was for Markus & McFeely to fridge her the exactly same way they fridged Gamora in Infinity War. And it's still inexcusable the way the filmmakers treated her death vs. Tony's death in the movie. Tony's sacrifice is honored by all the Avengers and gets a massive funeral, while all Natasha gets is five seconds of the male Avengers looking sad and a bench gets thrown in a lake.
So what are your parameters? Are the comics in play? Is it to knockout or to the death? Like you can’t just have a “who wins” debate with characters and just go…oh well sorry comic geek here who has these debates regularly.
