I didn't know that Amazon wish lists could be shared. Thanks for sharing with us how to do it.
Unfortunately this does not protect your address. Unless all items are from amazon warehouse. If they are from a different seller. That seller might send an invoice with your whole address on. So just becareful xx
Thank you for your advice, of course the best option like I have mentioned on other videos is to keep your address private but you will need to share your address with the people you want to get your wishlist in order for them to be able to send anything. Also mentioned a po box method in either this or other video. You are welcome to watch those as well 😊

I’ve never received an invoice from a 3rd party seller as someone who has bought stuff for many on wishlists. I only ever had an issue once when a woman had moved but forgot to update her Wishlist and stuff was being sent to the old place in another city! I was able to contact Amazon and they contacted the seller to get it updated. And another had shipped she was able to arrange to drive to the old place but it was a few hour drive sadly but she got it, without me ever knowing exactly where she lived.
I did not know that I could do this, I always learn new things with your videos, I love it
I wish the city and zipcode would be anonomous as well because it doesn't really help if you live in one of the smallest towns in the country.... going off of a simple Google search. Ugghhh Come on Amazon we need to hide that information as well! Great video thanks!
You are very welcome! It displays city and your name and it you can always use a P.O. box or have it send to a relative in a big town.

Yeah, it used to give the full address to anyone buying anything on your list. I don’t understand how we hide it.. or is it automatic now? When I ask Alexa she says to change a setting to “no” and that it isn’t default.
Now I know how to Do that, I did dont know that can do like this way, even dont know that can Share my list from Amazon ... very helpful information as always, and very clear you explain step by step

It is very interesting to know since now in this day everything we do is online for futures celebrations now I’m ready to make my wish list with out showing my address nice to know.

Not a good video. You go to fast and you didn’t mention that you had a separate account. That’s a big difference. And just having a separate wish list that you can hide an address in.

Esto es super interesante, la verdad es que yo nunca había sabido compartir mi lista de deseos sin compartir mi dirección y muchas veces es super útil porque así cuando ves algo que te gusta para un regalo lo añades y después la compartes.

I am actually not so sure about that 🤔 will research it for you, one thing that cames to my mind is to change your amazon name to a pseudonym
@@EntrepreneurMommie I thought about the pseudonym, too, but once the buyer confirms the purchase, it still shows the real name of the receiver, since it's a requirement for when the shipping arrives.

Ok, then if you are sharing it with your loved ones you can leave the address section empty and then you can give them your address in a text message or if you are using it for random

So how do you hide your address if you're GIVING a gift? Amazon says a gift-giver can opt to share their address, but I can't find that setting anywhere. Any tips for anonymous gifting?
Hello! When I get a gift, I usually don’t get the gifter’s address and you can write Anonymous in the name instead of yours

Hey Sophie, you mean cancel a purchase? I think they can do what you can usually do when you do a purchase for yourself, so I guess they can cancel a purchase before the item is shipped. That is my guess

Hi Sophie, you can see what has been bought from your list by choosing so in the wishlist configuration, but there is no way that I know of to keep track of when they will arrive. That its displayed in the buyer’s account

I I have a question, if an item is sold by a third party but dispatches from Amazon does that still count as a “third party” and therefore someone wouldn’t be able to buy it unless they entered my address? (I have the setting where someone can’t buy from third parties so that my address is kept confidential)
Hi Celeste! If it dispatches from Amazon then it might be okay because Amazon is delivering it. But be aware that the address is private for the buyers, third party is only for the other merkants or small businesses that sell using Amazon

I know I don’t understand either. If you have to select Amazon 3rd party to allow people to buy any item for you on your list, how would you selecting your address for it to be delivered to not appear in their confirmation email or anywhere else?

What do you mean?, if you don’t want the state and country be displayed then you just dont select any address on the settings of your Amazon wishlist but you will have to provide the address to the person buying from your list, otherwise they won’t be able to buy from your list

Regarding your info showing up it depends, there are persons who live in big cities so they don’t care, others live in small cities and they do care that info is shown. For me I honestly don’t care much. Specially because my wishlists are shared mostly to my family only

Yes, they need to access to their accounts and add their credit card not yours
You let your address show a couple times. You can just crop out part of the screen next time or 2x check what's blurred.

On the address you type it in, so if you have like a PO box you can use that address

Hi Taller Automotriz Falcon, yes, of course, so what I did was on Manage wishlist you select None then it wont display any address until you select one, if you decide selecting one then it will ONLY display the city and state, those are the 2 ways you can choose from

when i tried to do this, it does show the gift registry address and city and state but right next to it to the left, it shows my full address? does my full address still show for the anonymous buyer?
and what about the whole third party shipping agreement? they still give the buyer ur full address?
Hi Kathleen g, it wont show the full address for the anonymous buyer, only city and state. And regarding the third party shipping agreement, no they wont be sharing the address to the buyer but to the company who they bought the gift from and this is so they can actually have you address to deliver it, but this is done internally from Amazon. hello! it is your choice what to change if you dont want other people to see anything dont make your withlist public, but change it to shared or private. If you want to make it public it will show your city and country
I honestly thought I was kind of a smart person but I’m not sure lol. The instructions were thorough but so fucking complicated and unclear and you just blasted through everything too fast and went on and on and on. That’s a lot of steps to just plow through
