Asian Lad Zhengkai it's never costed that it's been 3800 back when it was 120 power and it had a weird passive that lowered cds by 8 seconds and then it was 2800 when it's at it's current stats and now 2600 with the stats unchanged
Short Answer: Get it last if you're going to get it at all; let it be the supplementary item that maxes your cooldown out at 40% for passive exploit; good on mages like Janus who use cdr to change up teamfights
Mario Luigi chronos pendant is good. Especially on Nox. You can build it on gods that have impactful ultimates. You usually build it after a stacking item like warlock or Thoth. It is expensive but your gold should start going after because of the sustained mana use.
Can you please make a video like this about bloodforge?? I have so many teammates building it right after boots and when i tell them thats bad they just say its always worked for them, and it gives them a huge power spike and blah blah blah.
Louie Bryant Yes, I would love that video. And if only those same guys would stop building Rage over ANY other crit item, maybe I could quit smh at them...
Louie Bryant It works if you play Duel... It's basically Trans without building stacks. In Conquest it's basically bad, a decent ADC with Ichaival+Tier 2 of Executioner will always win the trade because in early Bloodforge won't do a lot if you're not an ability oriented ADC.
yeah because 45 pen just wasnt enough pen you needed to build obsidian or another hybrid pen item like magi boots and imperial helm / hastened to make your abilities hit harder vs non squishies. It should have been that strong to begin with.
This was actually really insightful. I always try to build Pendant when playing Nu Wa in order to get the ultimate more often, my thought process being able to get more cleanups or assists for my team. However, your damage vs time enlightenment has helped me to instantly change my build.
I was always wondering how exactly do protections and penetration calculate? Like, if you have 75 physical protection, how much damage do you mitigate? and when you have 20 penetration, how much more do you deal?
That Poseidon build made me cry on this inside. Trading the 300 mana and 10% cdr on shoes of focus for 5 power and 5 pen (since you were overcapped) on shoes of the magi :'( feels real bad man. Other than that, it's nice to see that even after 3 years, I can still figure out what seems to be a decent build on my own, since that's otherwise pretty much exactly how I figured I should be building poseidon on my own. Only other thing I'd consider doing differently would be keeping the pen boots, and going with ethereal staff instead of spear of desolation. You already have enough pen to be doing true damage to squishies right off the bad, and with spear of the magus, you shred most tanks pretty well too. Grabbing the extra health and ccr from staff plus hitting for 5% of a target's max health as effectively true damage every ability cycle seems pretty damn good to me. You don't have any innate cdr in you build then, but you can always snag it from blue buffs and power pots if you really need it.
This was a great video for me. I find I can make great builds but I find I have trouble when it comes to build order so my builds are great late game but terrible early game. I used to get Chronos Pendant all the time in season 3 so I like seeing this vid breaking down season 4, I knew it is now way worse and I had already stopped building it but this helps. Thanks DukeSloth. More vids on build order would be great.
Hey Dukesloth, you touched a specific issue that I guess would be worth a video someday, that is: Mana management. I've been playing around for almost 3 years, consumer of all kinds of smite related guides and theories but this is something really hard to see how it works. I'd love to see some in depth discuss about mana and life pool management, especially at early game where it plays a major role. I hope you can look at this topic. Cheers
I agree and I am glad he acknowledged Assault mode using this, being a person who plays assault a lot I can say that the builds for assault are very different from other modes. It is extremely important to have MP5 for assault if you are the mage, especially the only mage as you should help the team by clearing the lanes, everyone else using watchers gift to reap benefits and mp and hp return while the person with pendant clears. During trades in assault you need to have mana as well as be able to poke; so again CDR, MP5 and the passive allows for that. It's the only mode where I think Pendant is justified. Rod of Tahuti being my preferred in the tree but is not obtainable as a first item in assault. Nevertheless I tend to not even build pendant in conquest as of late.
I build chronos pendant and spear of desolation both in the same build, and the result is broken. The combined passive cooldown buffs of each item, plus the 30% combined CDR makes it incredibly easy to spam abilities and quickly mow down targets. Example, Ra is my main mage, his X ability is not always the easiest to land, so it's nice to be able to cast one every few seconds to make up for any cast I might miss. I think it would be wise to point out that whether or not chronos pendant is trash or not is highly subjective to how someone plays and who they're playing. Aphrodite and Hel are both very often played as support roles, and in early game being able to pop off heals more frequently with a chronos pendant would be more beneficial than a little extra damage seeing as either God would most likely not be focusing on damage that early in to a game, and since they wouldn't be focusing damage, the MP5 would be more valuable than the penetration.
hey Duke with videos where you show the stats on screen would you mind leaving a link in the description to the graph file I'm assuming its some sort of Excel or something it would be really cool if you could publish a complete set of the data you collect
If theres no chance to build Warlock Sash, I have the habit of getting full cd boots and Breastplate for Scylla as the first two items. Reason being Scylla is usually a very high priority target for ganking, and that Breastplate gives you just enough defences to survive an assassin attack. Trying to rush Spear of Desolation for Scylla early on is greedy and tends to get Scyllas killed, same reason why I rarely built the old Chronos Pendant for Scylla either. All that sweet power won't help much if Loki insta-deletes you on touch. Won't hurt her clear and mid-game fighting ability either thanks to her passive.
@DukeSloth i was 3/4 through the video when i was dead set on saying but dukesloth what about janus. Building sands of time, cooldown boots, and then book of thoth for power and a fourth slot chronos gives you full cooldown. This in turn allows for easy rotation and escape potential while still allowing for easy burst in a 1v1 mid scenario. Then i saw janus brought up and im still certain that in janus's niche case a midbuild chronos pendant is still more beneficial. Ive also done some jungle practice tests as well for comparison if youre interested in specific details. Janus is however one of the only mages i would forgo pen for cooldown. building spear of desolation 5th or 6th slot (4th or 5th item) once sands of time is sold. If this intrigues you and wish to continue this conversation further im happy to share my numbers (just to save you time really).
hey dukesloth i have a question, in spring split i qualified into plat going 5-5 i ended with 1749 elo and was in plat (for joust) in the summer split i just qualified into silver two going 6-4 sith an elo of 1766 can i just ask what the hell?
the best way to buy chronos pendant is: if you play a god with sands starter u will most likely keep this item till end game... chronos pendant is the very same item just basicly a way higher tier for a way higher price... my favourite god to build this is agni actually... janus is very reasonable too!
I like building chronos pendant on Ra after cooldown boots, spear of desolation and a stacking power item. Gives you maxed out cdr and makes it so that his ult effectively has about a 25 second cooldown.
Duke, do you think lowering cost of Chronos Pendant to 2500 will be better? To make it more competitive with Spear of Desolation? And Pythagorems piece??
On average you get an 11.1% cool down boost. 1/9 is the wait time multiplicitivly. Of course at 0% cool down (which you can’t get with chronos) that’s almost like adding a normal 10% cdr item, but at 40% cdr. Where you have 60% of the cdr, 1/9 of 60% the cdr is a lower number, it’s like adding a 6% cdr item. This is on average however. The benefit of low cooldowns for chronos is that one second off a low cool down can often let you spam abilities, but 8 seconds wait time can also be longer than the ability cooldown making it occasional worthless and occasionally useful. But if your cooldowns are at least 10 seconds, if guarantees a proc, and even allows for 2 seconds off sometimes, this is when chronos Penanant is at its strongest. The math is actually wrong I reality, if it’s in a position where it guarantees one proc, it’s worth 1second / cooldown. Which is less, than 1/9 sure, but as your cooldowns increase bellow 9 seconds it loses value, and as your cooldowns approach 9 seconds it gains value, increasing its value as the first cdr item. Still, as the only item to overstack cdr, and its occasional burst of value for the average 8 second cooldown for a 12.5% cdr, it’s always valuable, but especially as the first cdr item.
I agree with almost everything you said, Chronos pendant is NOT a third slot item, is maybe a fifth slot item, it comes after boots, damage and penetration, but I don't think that it can be compared to spear of deso in damage, chronos is not a damage item nor a pen item, it is just cooldown item, people buy it because of the utility, not for the damage
on healers, Chronos Pendant is way better than spear of desolation, I mean as a healer, you aim to be able to spam your heals as often as possilbe, and Chronos Pendant gives you 20% cdr, that's practicly the highest in the game (even if it's a tie) and even it's passive works as cd reduction. Especially, if you have a tank in your team who's never on full hp regardless of how much you heal him/her on damage oriented gods however I agree, it's not worth it anymore, that price change pretty much killed it. On guardians, I elieve it depends on which one we talk about one by one, since cdr on some of them can be a pretty big game changer, like a well timed ult of Ares and such, ut on most guardians, Chronos pendant was a pretty poor pick anyways, so doesn't really matter there. and don't forget, that builds in conquest/siege (damn I hate both) are always different than in Arena/Clash/Assault, since the player have to be prepared for different situations, and in the latter 3, cdr is much more important than in the first 2. by the way, I don't really do either Chronos Pendant of Spear of Desolation, on most of the gods I play, Pithagorem's Piece fits my playstyle much better if you see Chronos Pendant in my build, I must be on eitheer Hel, Aphrodite, or Chang'e. Or I might be drunk and just uy thee items for my old builds on some other god, who knows. But I usually don't play smite when I'm drunk, those times it's no challenge, noone can predict my escapes Dx
You're only considering damage. On guardians/supports you don't always want damage, but you do want cooldown reduction (for the most part). Of course, on guardians/supports you can argue they shouldn't be building either of those two items, but for example Aphrodite mid can make great use of chronos pendant because it increases the amount of healing she can do, the amount of saves she can do with her ultimate and other abilities, and also the mp5 really helps her boost her ADC's mana pool.
I like building Chronos Pendant on Nox more than on any other mage just because you get her combo a lot more often with Chronos Pendant, but I don't really see that much cdr necessary on a lot of other gods.
Zues benefits from Chronos pendant late game especially when you really push to get those last few points in Arena, having that storm of his available much more often when Chronos Pendant has been chopping the clock down (in combination with Spear of Desolation) makes late game Zeus vicious.
I feel like chronos pendant passive sounds like a good idea in this type of game where cdr is really strong and on some gods it "feels" correct like double casting H Bo 1s or feeling like old Chang e but other items outclass them with better stats.
Hi wondering if you know anything about the lag this season is it our country i am in south africa and playon uk servers what can i do my fps some games go done to 40 or 20fps and my ping is always on 200 and some games it goes up to 999 and this just happened recently after a 4.6 hunter season patch before that i have been playing for 3months and before that it has been fine no lag what so ever and my fps was on 150 always . PLease how can we improve this in south africa.
The passive works with agni ult. I like to get it thirdish with him there. Otherwise its a last item after rod. Also first item in assault for the mp5.
You can actually use arena games to gauge how gold-efficient your build is. If you go really high-power mage builds, making the mistakes newbies tend to make (such as a rushed Chronos Pendant) you'll notice that your build isn't even close to finished by the time the game ends. You saw this a lot with Season 3 Deso Spear, where arena players would pick it up in combination with Soul Reaver, Rod of Tahuti, and Gem of Isolation. They'd end up only finishing four items. In a gold-efficient build, you usually finish it right at the end of the game in arena, give or take a few minutes depending on your performance. PS HiRez please make arena games longer we want more endgame.
On morrigan Chronos pendant is good early game, cus full cdr+chrono passive makes it so u get infinate invisibility. Im sure there are more examples where the 10%+passive extra cdr is worth it over spear of desolation, where this cdr brings a god over a specific edge.
I think Hi-Rez didn't realize the cost increase had happen and they mean to fix it each patch back to 2400. However, they keep forgetting to fix it cause Adventures and new gods.
I always get Chronos's pendant on a mage first, I mostly play assault or joust. In assault you need MP5, and it just seems a good balance of cooldown, power and MP5
I don't get it first, but I do get it early. Playing Hel means I need more mp5, and power to make my heals and damage hit harder, since heals don't need penetration, why build a pen item? The recent buff to CP bumped it up to the same power as SoD, so there really isn't any reason to take that over CP. There just aren't many items that have MP5 and decent power for early game that are cheap. Once CP is built, I generally build either Ethereal Staff or Devine Ruin, depending on the enemy team comp, and then start working on Rod of Tahuti, getting Obsidian shard last for that % pen.
Nick Ashe I'm not a master at builds but soul eater is a horrible item atm so I would rather build asi for pen and more attack speed especially since you are building some attack speed already
Nick Ashe it all depends on what you really need since you are a warrior it's good to get some defensive items so I would recommend a spirit robe or if you are really ahead in theory a fatalis or a o bow so you can get more damage off
The only God I've seen a solid argument for an early Chronos Pendant is Hel. Every stat on the item is extremely useful for her in particular the CDR and MP5. Being more of a utility mage she gets less out of the extra power and pen other items offer. Furthermore she gets far more out of the passive procs since she has 7 abilities that it can proc on and having those abilities available is critical to her kit.
Having the ability to switch between stances is critical to her kit especially when needing to manage her passive bar. Regardless of it being a low cooldown getting 50 to 60 % (based on CDR) off the cooldown of the ability every 10 seconds is still a big deal.
Chris Fleming I personally don't see that being worth at least for that reason but if it works for you go for it I'd rather have a tankier more supportive hel
Try going Lotus Crown into Chronos sometime. It's more than tanky and Lotrus Crown passive refereshes on your teammates since your heal is a HoT. It has high damage, high tankiness, and high sustain. Being able to switch stances, sustain your mana, and have cooldowns up are all taken care of by this build and you can then go deeper into support or damage depending on the team comp and situation.
Chronos pendent feels to me to be one of the best designed items in the game, it does one thing, and that one thing it does very well (cdr). More items should work like Chronos pendent
I gond interedting how from season 3 to 4 it was nerfed but on season 5 it was buffed Going from 65 magical power to 90 Losing 5 mp5 and becoming 100 gold cheaper Hell even spear of desolation got a buff it didtn become cheaper but it supplied more damage lost some penetration, 5 to be exact. i understand what your saying build chronos pendant after spear of desolation Separ of desolation plus chronos then and now is such a deadly combo. Although this video is old, it made me realize i really shouldn't build chronos pendant before spear of desolation. Mantle discord might be my late game follow up. To get 40 percent cdr as well as some armor.
I guess this is only really from a pro conquest perspective? I would say it's at least a good item in Assault for example since no base for mana regen and can hold limited pots. The +25MP5 is nice there.
Thank you, build chromosome assault, but now will look to spear as first item then cool down boots and I'll be back in the same position but with more damage.
to everyone saying stop using his two to attack the tower.....you're right that it doesn't increase strength, it does increase posi's tide meter quicker which has its buffs.
I still build Chronos pendant early on Ah Puch in most game modes besides Conquest and Duel. Bullying people out of lane with constant bodies that hit like a truck is way too valuable IMO.
pendant has been an integral part of my builds throughout my smite career. as for the statement about bad mana management its not all true. being someone who mains healers it becomes very taxing with constant heal casting to keep the lanes sustained. not all my responsibility yes but still having higher mp5 isnt a bad thing in my eyes. matbe its cuz i play console and the meta is different
Brandon Kennedy no trust me, im on console to, building pendant early mean you do no damage for till you reach full build. by my expiriance, you usually start whit pen boots, then som pen, then some power ( ethereal or bamcroft talon, but for healer rod of asceptius) then more pen ( obsy or something, becouse by this time the support have build some nagical prot aura), 5th slot thauti. if you pick as last item in a close game, you do no damage till you pick it up. and utility last. on healers you can find some place for shild of regro and lotus crown. pls dont pick lotus on afro... thet item is realy good on hel and chang e but no one else. dont buy healer item on terra and silvanus.
does anyone else get the glitch where you get double gems (30) for day 6 reward nd it says day 7 is 70, you get tothat day and only get 35 so you end up with 65, not gonna complain its 15 more gems but just curious
"stacking items for mages are trash?" should be the question. they're expensive, they don't give enough Power (early or late game), no utility, no spike damage (within the options available, they're the worst for spikes), they dont do anything that others items do cheaper, faster and better. currently, stack items simply exist. considering most matches are decided within the first few moments, stacks for mages suck.
They should give Chronos Pend. more power or make the passive stronger or maybe even add some other stats to make up for it or even make it cheaper i dont think it is worth that much gold right now.
you make some nice points but it always tepends on the god if its a god who is more spam orianted then pendat is better if its more like a 1shot combo god (skylla,...) the spear is better
"But it caught your attention and that's all I needed"
Dukesloth admits to clickbait 2017 (colourized)
*Seinfeld theme sounds*
*Random memes get thrown at your screen*
My clickbait game is actually super weak :(
DukeSloth Just change it a little bit so it looks like this:
CHRONOS PENDANT is actually TRASH?? YOU WON'T BELIEVE WHAT HAPPENED NEXT.
Hahahahhaah
Jokes on you Duke, I don't hit abilities anyway
Nick P like this gameplay?
+Calliban999 Almost as savage as Randy.
If I ever play against Duke I'm going to build chronos pendant second item just to trigger him
Kronos trigger him???????? OK I will kill myself.
Daniel Burgos pretty sure he would like thst for an easy win. he didn't seem too triggered he was just telling us where the items place is.
Please build it against me.
DukeSloth haha
spear of deso's base stats are so good that i completely forgot it had a passive
xxColdBlood I thought spear of deso cost 3300, not 2600
Asian Lad Zhengkai it's never costed that it's been 3800 back when it was 120 power and it had a weird passive that lowered cds by 8 seconds and then it was 2800 when it's at it's current stats and now 2600 with the stats unchanged
xxColdBlood Okay!

Chronos pendant died...
Just like chronos 2

deathking2o11 haha I know, :P it was a half joke (I think)
Hitting me where it hurts ;-;
Seemingly Friendly Creature alright
deathking2o11 Chronos' Pendant when Chronos lost fatalis and outtro music is overrated.

Louie Bryant Yes, I would love that video. And if only those same guys would stop building Rage over ANY other crit item, maybe I could quit smh at them...
Cabrera1027 in reality the changed rage is one of the best crit item now, 35% crit chance on a single item is huge
Roohalla Alekri yeah but 5 kills with a crit build are easy to get
he already did
Louie Bryant It works if you play Duel... It's basically Trans without building stacks. In Conquest it's basically bad, a decent ADC with Ichaival+Tier 2 of Executioner will always win the trade because in early Bloodforge won't do a lot if you're not an ability oriented ADC.
Question.
That in mind, what would you recommend build wise for The Morrigan as of 4.7?
Great video dude thanks for the info! Gotta say tho, those misses on Poseidon skills shots in the background hurt my soul a little bit lol
Activating Poseidon 2 doesn't make you do more damage to towers
Oh this was really helpful! I was just building Chronos Pendant all the time lolol! Now I can stop!
short answer : Yes
Short answer...
Yes.
In price at least
hirez is trash they dont like to buff mage items just assassins can all be s+
They buffed Spear of the Magus and now that is a REALLY good item on way more gods.

imo only needed on morrigan
i mean, you could get BP instead?
Morrigan really doesn't need it urgently at all. Going too max CDR on her will get wasted when the god she transforms into has longer CD on their ult.
Yeah I think it's a good choice for Vulcan as the last item because that way he can use his ult more frequently
No outro music?

Especially, if you have a tank in your team who's never on full hp regardless of how much you heal him/her
on damage oriented gods however I agree, it's not worth it anymore, that price change pretty much killed it. On guardians, I elieve it depends on which one we talk about one by one, since cdr on some of them can be a pretty big game changer, like a well timed ult of Ares and such, ut on most guardians, Chronos pendant was a pretty poor pick anyways, so doesn't really matter there.
and don't forget, that builds in conquest/siege (damn I hate both) are always different than in Arena/Clash/Assault, since the player have to be prepared for different situations, and in the latter 3, cdr is much more important than in the first 2.
by the way, I don't really do either Chronos Pendant of Spear of Desolation, on most of the gods I play, Pithagorem's Piece fits my playstyle much better
if you see Chronos Pendant in my build, I must be on eitheer Hel, Aphrodite, or Chang'e. Or I might be drunk and just uy thee items for my old builds on some other god, who knows. But I usually don't play smite when I'm drunk, those times it's no challenge, noone can predict my escapes Dx
I only ever get it on Pos/The Morrigan. On Pos you just gotta go fast, plus having Kraken up before anybody else has ult is a game-changer.
Well, in some spammy or utility mages I like building it relatively early, but first I get pen boots and other pen item, commonly Spear of Desolation.
Shaun Buys I always have 300+ ping lol, no one plays not the southeast asia region
what region u play in and since when u have this ping have u complained to hi res?
Shaun Buys - FPS is 100% your computer's fault. As for ping, you need a better internet service provider.
Shaun Buys Nah, it's because I hop regions, I play in Europe or Australia but I'm from southeast Asia
or my inter provider should do some upgrades
10:03 That Serqet clearly wants the kill but u wanted the cheeky steal even more LUL
Rate my erlang Shen build? :
War Tabi, ichievel, quins, soul eater, heart seeker, and johtuns
Nick Ashe I'm not a master at builds but soul eater is a horrible item atm so I would rather build asi for pen and more attack speed especially since you are building some attack speed already
ghostrecon1419 thanks for the info and I find soul Eater to be good for sustain do you have a recommendation for a replacement?
Nick Ashe it all depends on what you really need since you are a warrior it's good to get some defensive items so I would recommend a spirit robe or if you are really ahead in theory a fatalis or a o bow so you can get more damage off
ghostrecon1419 ok thanks again
ghostrecon1419 fatalis is already built into his kit it's a waste of an item
The only God I've seen a solid argument for an early Chronos Pendant is Hel. Every stat on the item is extremely useful for her in particular the CDR and MP5. Being more of a utility mage she gets less out of the extra power and pen other items offer. Furthermore she gets far more out of the passive procs since she has 7 abilities that it can proc on and having those abilities available is critical to her kit.
Chris Fleming 7? Her stance switch is a two second cooldown I really don't think that's useable for chronos passive
Being able to switch stances, sustain your mana, and have cooldowns up are all taken care of by this build and you can then go deeper into support or damage depending on the team comp and situation.
chronos pendant on the morrigan built with high cdr is a must even at early game.
I always built it in season 3.. it's too expensive to fit in my build now :(
RoDawGx13 is it season 3??
Chronos pendent feels to me to be one of the best designed items in the game, it does one thing, and that one thing it does very well (cdr). More items should work like Chronos pendent
Im half-triggered about something in the background, but no, no! im better than that. Great vid duke!
I gond interedting how from season 3 to 4 it was nerfed but on season 5 it was buffed
Going from 65 magical power to 90
Losing 5 mp5 and becoming 100 gold cheaper
Hell even spear of desolation got a buff it didtn become cheaper but it supplied more damage lost some penetration, 5 to be exact. i understand what your saying build chronos pendant after spear of desolation
Separ of desolation plus chronos then and now is such a deadly combo.
Imo it’s for mana heavy God’s with pen from other items. +25 MPS.
Chronos and genjis might be interesting if you could find a reason to build them.
#RodofTahutiFirstitem
I build Cronos on hel for cool down so I can heal more often on both heals plus the speed boost on 3
Chronos pendant 3rd on Agni will actually nullify how bad his early game is because your dash is up more often , and you get your meteors hella quick
I still build Chronos pendant early on Ah Puch in most game modes besides Conquest and Duel. Bullying people out of lane with constant bodies that hit like a truck is way too valuable IMO.
i love watching your videos its a massive help with building gods
pendant has been an integral part of my builds throughout my smite career. as for the statement about bad mana management its not all true. being someone who mains healers it becomes very taxing with constant heal casting to keep the lanes sustained. not all my responsibility yes but still having higher mp5 isnt a bad thing in my eyes. matbe its cuz i play console and the meta is different
I've been wondering this recently so.... thanks
blue boots, spear of desk and this makes gods like He-Bo a major nuke.
please make a new video about chronos pendant due to the chronos pendant change for next patch
do a vid on "what happened to chang'e" her recent rise is quite surprising
does anyone else get the glitch where you get double gems (30) for day 6 reward nd it says day 7 is 70, you get tothat day and only get 35 so you end up with 65, not gonna complain its 15 more gems but just curious
Cowshavesweg it's not a glitch, it happens when you claim the reward in a double everithing event
You probably missed the first day of the week with double login rewards, so you got double the first 6 days, then the normal for your 7th.
I got hate mail the other day for using it on Hel, on Assault.
I think Chronos pandant work better in assault games since you can't recall. MP and CDR are essential
I feel like "Dukesloth approved" cuz I used CP as a late game item
They just have to make it the same price as spear of desolation (2600) and upgrade the power to 80.
Well in assault it still very nice. In some games you dont need other itens to win.
I noticed that chronos pendant work best on hel because of her 6 abilities. but maybe that's just me. I could be wrong.
I will try it on a guardian, normally have to stay on the field anyway.
WHERE. IS. MY. ENDING. SONG?
I always buy chronos pendant I never knew it fell out of meta. Damn
You misspeled the title, It's Chronos' Pendant :P
"stacking items for mages are trash?" should be the question. they're expensive, they don't give enough Power (early or late game), no utility, no spike damage (within the options available, they're the worst for spikes), they dont do anything that others items do cheaper, faster and better. currently, stack items simply exist. considering most matches are decided within the first few moments, stacks for mages suck.
They should give Chronos Pend. more power or make the passive stronger or maybe even add some other stats to make up for it or even make it cheaper i dont think it is worth that much gold right now.
I think the only god that needs early chronos pendant is Nox.
@DukeSlothTV +DukeSloth
JUST WANTED TO LET MY UA-cam MENTOR KNOW I JUST GOT A SOLO DEICIDE IN JOUST AS GANESHA! XD
The only god who i think is justified in asslut with CP first item is hel because it has nice benifits if your going support healer
Whoa! Clickbait title? Must watch to find out
there are better options though like pythags piece spear of desolation etc
blue boots, spear of deso and 500 pot is 30% cdr enough for any mage
But why buy blue boots when you can buy gray boots?
rageface memeaholic why grey boots when you can eat ass
rageface memeaholic why buy grey boots when you can buy gold ones from s2
i build this on guadians when im building an attack guardian like bacuchus
i love to see my mid build chronos , soul reaver and tahuti in 3rd 4th and 5th slot -.-
Whoever built chronos second or third item wasn't thinking about their build anyway lol
Trident doesn't do extra to towers :/
you make some nice points but it always tepends on the god if its a god who is more spam orianted then pendat is better if its more like a 1shot combo god (skylla,...) the spear is better
Gem of ISO that late.... No no no Duke, has Ian thought you nothing?
