This is so awesomely beautiful confirming about reaching back in time to Our Lord in the garden and the EXCHANGE of His Joy and PEACE for our fears. How blessed we are!!! May EVERYONE return to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mom (Mary). God bless and thank you!!! Oh, hey don't forget the Souls in Purgatory, thank you!!!

If Christ appeared before us now, I'm guessing He would say "You refused to pay attention to my Divine Heart, now pay attention to my human heart." And then He will show us His rage. How can we possibly have joy when our own leaders, those responsible for protecting Our Lord and His Gospel, are actively betraying Him and crucifying Him again?? Did Christ go to the cross with joy? I think not. He went to the cross with overwhelming sorrow at the ingratitude of those He came to save. "My soul is sorrowful, even unto death."
"The clearest picture of God's heart of forgiveness is seen in the crucifixion of Jesus his son and our God. Nothing produces reverence like the thought that Jesus Christ died for our sins. And he rose again.. Jesus will return soon. Alleluia
Sensus Fidelium: In your teaching you state that the garden of Gethsemane was owned by or the property of Mark's grandmother; however, that home was not that of his grandmother, but of Mark's aunt (which, of course, Mark is "John Mark") - the Garden of Gethsemane (or Mount of Olives) was near the home of Martha (Lk 10:38-39), which her sister, Mary, was often there...John Mark's mother's name was Mary, and her home was in Jerusalem (Acts 12:12)...as this Mary was the mother of John Mark, and as this Mary was the sister of Martha, who owned the property at Bethany that was very near to the Garden of Gethsemane, that was the home (property) of John Mark's Aunt Martha, and not of his grandmother...as for his grandmother, in Scripture she is known as the "other Mary"/wife of Clopas (he was also called Cleopas, and also called Alphaeus), and they owned a property in Emmaus.
Also, as women in the first century were not allowed to own property on their own, but only through marriage, and as Mary and Martha are not revealed to be married at the time that Jesus began his ministry, then Martha, who owned the home in Bethany (near Gethsemane), and her sister Mary, who owned a home in Jerusalem and was the mother of Mark (John Mark), were both widowed.
Erich Diehl: .. "He would say 'You refused to pay attention to my Divine Heart, now pay attention to my human heart.' And then He will show us His rage." .. ?? Well, not exactly. That would go completely counter to HIS stated "Job description" as revealed in the Feast of Divine Mercy, instituted by St.John Paul II. The Divine Mercy is even MORE than "an ocean" BECAUSE IT HAS NO LIMITS! "NOW is the hour, the time of Mercy". We've been given endless chances to access IT through the "3 O'Clock" Hour of Mercy, praying the Divine Mercy Chaplet and living it by: DOING deeds of mercy; by SPEAKING words of mercy; by PRAYING for mercy. BUT, once we're on "the other side of the grass", having breathed our last, then is the moment of Divine Justice ( .. or, as you say, "His rage"). EXCEPT -as St.Faustina writes in countless pages of the Diary: Divine Mercy In My Soul, we are promised protection from His Justice, who have, in Faith and generosity, taken Him at His word by doing, saying, and praying Mercy for our "Neighbour". A few brief quotes from the Diary: “My daughter, tell souls that I am giving them My mercy as a defence. I Myself am fighting for them and am bearing the just anger of My Father.” ( Diar#516 ) "During an hour of adoration, Jesus promised me that: 'With souls that have recourse to My mercy, and with those that glorify and proclaim My great mercy to others, I will deal ACCORDING TO MY INFINITE MERCY at the hour of their death.'" (Diary, 379). "Proclaim that mercy is THE GREATEST ATTRIBUTE of God. ALL the works of My hands are CROWNED WITH MERCY." (Diary, 301). "Souls who spread the honour of My mercy I shield through their entire lives as a tender mother her infant, and at the hour of death I will not be a Judge for them, but the Merciful Saviour. At that last hour, a soul has nothing with which to defend itself except My mercy. Happy is the soul that during its lifetime immersed itself in the Fountain of Mercy, because justice will have no hold on it.”-(Diary 404) Eternal Father, for the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
The Vatican condemned the divine mercy devotion twice. The original image had no wounds from the crucifixion. Sister Faustina claimed that Jesus told her that she would never be judged. Might want to spend some time studying this devotion's history before propagating it.
@@jacobkalee I don't know if I believe that they just had a "bad" translation. Remember in 2011, Pope Benedict changed some of the words in the mass? He said the changes were more biblical and that the English had been translated incorrectly. I have a 1945 missal. That missal reflects the changes that Pope Benedict made. In other words, in 1945 they had a proper translation, but in 1969 (when the new mass came out) they suddenly lost the proper translation. They told us a lie concerning those "incorrect" translations in the new mass. For 76 years they changed the words of Jesus Christ during the consecration. ("All" vs. "many"). Needless to say , changing the words of God is no small thing. In short, I'm not buying the Faustina "translation" claim. The Church leadership says and does a lot of things they shouldn't. They think that the people aren't paying attention. And they're right. Stick with the tried and true. Devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. True enough, these devotions involve more effort from us; but considering what's been going on in the Church, we could do a little for God - don't you think?

The problem with preachers like these is that, while the content is superb, the message gets distracted by the tone of the preacher.... it’s so effected. Not everyone is Fulton Sheen. Besides, Sheen was sincere.
Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to Heaven, especially those in most need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Have mercy on me a sinner

Jesus would say - "Come." He would say that especially to our priests. Things may be changing in our priests already, the younger ones.
