The Dynamic Duo mechanic would work great for MyCareer. Who needs a rival when you can have a sidekick in the locker room with you. You can practice with him (shoot around etc.) and even get traded alongside him. In season 2 he could be traded away and become your biggest Rival.
This my first Time watching this but some one please make this happen in nba2k17-18
and 3 years later it officially made it into the game that's lit
Underdog signature skill- when being matched up against a player who has a higher overall, your offensive and defensive abilities slightly increase
That might be more of a personality badge
I like the Dynamic Duo, but wanna take it farther. I think it should be Team Player. When you assist the ball your chemistry with that player enhances. When timed right you have a better chance for that player to get off their shot better. That player will assist you as well and help get your shots down as well. Also help with screens, picks and can help on the defensive side(steal, blocks, rebounds) as well. Plus with this skill being activated, your team keeps a momentum or hot hand. Make it hard for the other team to break that or good for coming back in a game.

It would be cool having a sidekick. Like rookie with rookie that brings a team to a championship. Then you create that rookie. That is an awesome idea Shake!

the dynamic duo could be something that is created over time, as it emerges from the relation you would create with any character, created or not. Like the player you get the more assist from/to would add to your chemistry until you reach the "dynamic duo" signature, that unlocks alley hoop options, bonus when both players are on the field...a great idea Shake!

The Dynamic Duo sig skill would be absolutely epic. You guys could have grown up together and built great chemistry and get drafted to the same team and all that other sruff you said Shake. Great suggestions 2k should listen to you more often.

Great music shake. I love the idea. Tell me this how would you feel is just like lock down defender could counter all offensive signature skills if eraser (if timed right) could counter posterizer. I feel posterizer is a bit OP and without another user player unstoppable.

That would be an awsome Skill. Im a Bulls fan and that would be fun to get drafted at the SG or SF and beable to have that chemistry with DRose. I got drafted to the Twolves, liked it but asked for a trade and got sent to the Lakers. I wanted to go to Chicago but was excited to play with Kobe and Gasol. I try to pick and roll with Kobe but like you said, the chemistry just isnt there and the AI just dosnt know what to do. Being able to create two guys like you were saying would be even better cause then you could create that guy to be a good scorer or passer and you could be the opposite therefore working as the "Dynamic Duo" your talking about. Great idea and keep em coming.

Shakedown is such a Underrated Nba Commentator ,People over look this dude ..Shake is the only commentator that I know that puts a lot of his Thoughts into Future Basketball Games ,The 2k Company really needs to pay Attention to Shake down page cause they would learn a lot from this man ,Shake really take the Time to put a lot of his thoughts into this 2k Game world ...I really Respect this Guy man .... Yo shake I'm keeping up to date with all your 2k videos and I know you say you have some connections to 2k. Can you request them to work on the passing and catching the ball animation to make it look more real or live just like what you see in basketball today. The animation has always been horrible for catching the basketball and I'm sure you seen the same as well. If anything i feel they should work on the hand reactions when it comes to the game were you see yourself or another person passing thru someone's hand or arm type glitch but if anything I appreciate your videos and keep up the good work. Awesome shake. In 2k13 I was drafted to the Knicks and requested a trade and moved to Houston with Jr smith. This is befor the harden Howard Houston. So I was getting 20 assists a game making smith average 40 point while I averaged 60. We averaged more points together than most teams and it felt like a dynasty duo. I was like it would be awesome if they had something in the press to signify what we brought to Houston. But I had to imagine it. This idea would be sick

adding to that, what if you could team up with nba vets?? what if you want to form a big 3, so you and someone like kevin durant or carmelo anthony want to sign with a team like the lakers, knicks, bulls etc. with another star?? that would be so fun
I like the idea, and it will encourage users to play more than 1 season. (in the case the sidekick comes in the 2nd draft). I play short quarters and is great to start the second season, trades are great (even though not real), you player is strong, not superstrong because you get less VC in shorter quarters.
Sidekicks could come with signature skills, like Dime (between each other), Wall (when screening and the other player is the ballhandler), and so on.
Just a thought...really liked the idea!
That's actually a good idea. They can make the story a whole lot better that way. I think they should of let you choose the story mode side to mycareer and still have that option to play the normal MyCareer we're use to. That way if you just wanted to play MyCareer and not deal with the cutscenes and scripted events, you could do so.

Shake this is the coolest idea ever. I made me and put me in the heat on rosters, and I had made another player that me and him and LeBron made most of the points on the team. It felt like it a brother or a sidekick. NBA2k15 NEEDS to have this dynamic duo attribute. And if you don't want to have a sidekick they should make it where you choose the player you want to have the duo with and when you pass to them when they are open they will have a better chance of making it and if they drive too.
Or instead of creating a player you could just choose an existing player that's on the team who drafted you. But you should only be able to have the signature skill after you get into the starting rotation. Or if you choose to create a "sidekick" you should have to wait till your 2nd year and have the team drakt him so you can take him undr your wing and you could mentor him and stuff. But this was a great idea Shake!!!!
It could also be a multiplayer mode. Online co-op for you and a friend , or offline for your brother or sister. What's your thoughts on that?

Feeling the video you did leave out my man t mac and yao or even grant hill. This is a great idea most people make to my players anyway why not just let us make two and upgrade them both witb only have control over the player you choose. You should be allowed to switch between the two in parks/crews tho. Adding Draft class to my career would be another great idea that way you can add my talent into your career. Not to many superstar shooting guards left so I play point for the challenge

Sounds good!! I think for a more simulation like myCareer, I think there should be realistic minutes with your guy. I played one game as a starter and I have 37 minutes being played. This doesnt sound right because I am a rookie still, 70 overall, and I don't have outstanding averages yet. You should reach this out to 2k Shake.
it would be awesome if you can have this thing in game that monitors your assists and passing and gives you a story along side the player you best play with, what also would be great is if you could control what you did backstage to increase the chances of you getting that dynamic duo relationship with the right player, myself wouldn't mind having that with jimmy butler because no matter what it seems i always manage to play at my best when im with jimmy and i would so love to see a story between my character and him be that they fall apart or one gets replaced or they both make it to the hall of fame together i would love to see it happen.

Shake I think if they add this the signature skill would probably be a personality badge that would give you and your sidekick a boost in "rhythm" while on the court together.

How about a chemistry progression bar from being a rookie throughout the year and beyond. It would show how well your teammate knows you, and know when to pass the ball to you etc. it'll be all based you your tendencies. It could go as deep as you teammate setting up your opponent who's driving for a chase down block or weaks side block know that you do that often. Or another example, it's clutch time and you team runs a play for you to get the ball in the high post since you have a high tendency of shooting and driving from there. Stuff like that. And the higher the chemistry progression bar go the more effective these situations are. (I'm sick so i can't think all that well, but hopefully it makes sense).
You should really share this with 2k, Dynamic Duo is amazing signature skill and especially editing your own side kick !!

Also you should be able to get a very expensive Sig skill like uber athleticism for
Pg and sg speed verticle and quickness are fully upgraded

I've come to the realization that many people are just catching on to the fact that they don't have to play a center to be 7'0 feet tall. It happened in 2k11 too, people would make an enormous SF at like 6'10 or 6'11 then have them play Center or Power Forward in Crew Mode.
Also with the duo you could have an all star on you team as well as creating two players. Back in 2k13 if you got drafted 1st anthony davis still was on the team drafted 1st too , me and him were the team dynamic duo if they had that dynamic duo signature skill we could have won back to back if i finished my second season

I think its a great idea, but would the user control both players or would the sidekick be controlled by the CPU?
CPU/A.I. Controlled Sidekick but you could practice with/against him. He's in a lot of the cutscenes in the story line and you get a bunch of new celebration animations. A player you create to compliment your style of play. And you can increase his skills based on his performance.

this should be a mode, dynamic duo which is pretty much co-op my career. you and your friend or as shake said you and a cpu that you created play. with cpu his development hinges on your play and chemistry with him and how you often you feed the ball to him and etc, just ideas

YO Shake! I took your advise and got rid of my last-gen games and picked up a Xbox One. Gamestop was sold out of PS4's so I went with the Xbox One and I have to say Im loving next-gen. I picked up 2K today and MAN! I thought I had skills from the previous 2K titles, but 2K14 has kicked my ass ALL DAY! and made me its bitch and Im playing on pro. I would hate to have to really play on rookie…LOL Did it take you awhile to get the hang of the controls and gameplay or is it just me?
It's not easy but you'll get the hang of it. I play on HOF even in exhibition and it's very difficult. I guess I'm use to it. Work your way up slowly.

that sounds greats but, another good idea would be an online mycareer and offline, the online, a career that u can play with a friend, and a offline, that u can play alone.But your idea sound much better

2K needs to also implant coaching systems in my career to give more realism. For example if the team you are on decides to sign Mike D'Antoni as the coach, expect the offense to run on a fast pace & for the defense to be a little weak.
I have an idea. You could have the dynamic duo and the sidekick stands up for you against your rival (Someone Like Jackson Ellis) and the mean vets and then after 1 season he becomes teammates with Jackson Ellis and gets traded away and know he is your rival
i want to see in nba 2k15 when your making your player you can choose the type of voice you want your player to have, edit the face of the player and in the ending of the games if your the player of the game you get interview

Honestly I would like the Retro Gilbert Arenas, Retro D-Wade, Retro T-Mac, Retro Melo, Retro Yao Ming, Retro Grant Hill, Retro Kareem, Retro Amar'e, and a lot more retro players. It would make Myteam soo much better.

Nice idea but i'd like to see it with existing players: let's say you become the leader of the team and you "train" a rookie or a player you like to play with in your team, not one you created yourself.
But the biggest improvement on 2K15 has to be the AI rebounding, hustling and just playing the game normally. It is so frustrating to lose games where any your teamates dont even go for 10 points, turn the ball over and over, where the opponent has more offensive rebounds than your team has defensive rebounds etc...
U can create 2k shoes from scratch and use them on your guy if u don't have a shoe contract. Looks way better than those defaults

I also think there is something up about HoF difficulty, the ai seems to never make mistakes and when they do your team is way to dumb to capitalize on it. Its like on HoF 2k made it so the opposing team is a HoF caliber team but your team is a rookie type caliber team. And about the story mode, I like it but it is way too scripted, it needs more dynamic outcomes, overall it just seems they rushed this one out to next gen without thinking too much.

I like the dynamic duo idea but I don't like the creating a sidekick part. Maybe you can get good enough and pick a sidekick on your team.
Do you play 2K14? Because all of your teammates have to be "mute". This is because there's no physical way to record voice overs from every player in the NBA. Creating a sidekick would only task 2K to finding another actor to do the voiceovers for your sidekick.
have it made to where you and a friend that can game with you consistently play with his my player and you play with yours on the same team. Have an option for cpu to play games when friend aint there but the cut scenes only when players are link in and sub them around the same time so if one goes to bench the other does to. And have it to where if one player goes to the bench he choses too like instead of pausing the game having both ppl wait he can sit on the bench and use the bathroom come back call to and sub back in. Endless possibilities
What if you and a friends MyCareer's could team-up? That'd be sweet cuz then the communication would be dope.
marbury and kg was a great duo in my book. if they would of stayed together i think that could of been something special to bad marbury wanted out if i remember correctly like tmac and vince carter teaming up. but on a different not i like the idea of playing with a partner maybe something like a online 2 man MyCareer with a friend as the 2nd person and you guys get drafted to a team and have to work your way up and one could get traded or something idk
