Jeff, you are just brilliant! I know that many people do this, but you are so right, it isn't exactly at the top of mind as an art-glass artist. Excellent idea! I wish I had a sandblaster, but I do a some etching with Etchall. I am going to give it a go with an old piece of glass here, small of course. Thank you so much, wonderful idea!❣
great idea like how it looks. I have done chemical etching and have had good results. Did some mirror squares that were popular in the 1980s and decanters. They looked great.
Great idea and fun to watch. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks.
I really like how you repurposed this found piece. I do hope that adding this technique will help selling at markets.
Well. I'll find out this weekend. First market on Sunday after a long spell. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
@@RocketRoseArt My Best to you & Anne!
Very nice! Thanks for sharing!!
Now I need a sand blaster! 😂
Hi Kathy. My pleasure and now you have to save the pennies

I'm glad you like the idea. I'm off to my first market in early June. Been a few years. I'll try to remember to post how it goes.
I just bought a sandblaster as I fuse glass but truly did not know what to do with it. Now I know, very clever idea Jeff. I really enjoyed the video.

Hi Judith. I haven't tried a chemical etch on such a large surface. It may work.
Wish I had a sandblaster!
Hi Rosanne. Great tool if you can get one. Even secondhand.
