This would be an awesome EDC flashlight except for 1 major problem. It can ONLY be powered by the included IMR16340 battery. Despite it being almost the same size as a CR123 battery, it will NOT function with one. Which is a same since the Olight S1R Baton 2 (that is the same size as the Baton 3) WILL function on either CR123 or IMR16340 batteries!
Battery and external chargers for that battery can be found on alliexpress. I've been shopping Alli for years they should pay me for this lol but yea I read the comment from viewers I know a lot of old school flashlight guys need to be able to get parts easily. I hope all that helps in no way meant in a bad way just trying to help with my experience.
Walmart and Amazon also have lots of these batteries, avoid those marked as 2800mAh, they are fake and actually only 400mAh. 850mAh is the maximum such batteries can be.
i almost ordered this on amazon but it says included components battery. no mention of the magnetic charging cable.DO you have to bundle it or something to get the clip bag charging cable? the lights useless if i can't charge it. I also don't see the cable sold seperately.
Just bought one, and i just love it, It's not perfect, but it more than covers my needs for an edc light 🙂

Who cares? It’s a rechargeable battery…. It’s not like you need to change batteries often. Just buy a spare from Olight
Thrunite t1 with infinity mode and cool white and neutral white is a much better option !!! But make sure you have your flashlight!
