Great stuff Mr Fish as usual, love the chat bike sounds fantastic. Sad you had to take down a video, I often watch something I don’t like or disagree with but discovered this useful technique to deal with it, I switch it off and look for something else, amazing how easy it is👍

Fair play to you Mr Fish, having followed you, on UA-cam, FaceBook and Instagram,
for a while, seeing the difference in you, is amazing!
Good for you, for not only dealing with the issues, but also speaking out about them.
Like many, I too suffer from anxiety, depression, stress and a little PTSD, seeing you work through your issues, is an inspiration to me, it has helped, without a doubt!!
I'm sure its helped many others too.
Keep it up mate, you truely are an inspiration to many.
Thank you for being 'man' enough, to 'man up' and talk openly about men's mental health.
    Top Man.
    Grumps.

Good luck with your journey back to you.
If you constantly think about things in the past, you’ll be depressed. If you worry about the future, you’ll end up with anxiety. The trick is, to think about the here and now; and the things you can control.
    Focus on yourself Fish

Yes mental health is a serious issue. I tend to suffer still but do try & keep on top of it rather than it get in top of me.
Mindfulness is my main tool along with riding my bikes, mountain bike or walking the dog.
Finding a quiet place to reflect & meditate when I'm out enjoying any of the above helps clear my mind.
The bike of stealth looks very sexy & still sounds the mutts. Happy for mate that it gives you that feel good factor. I feel the same with my bikes too.
Camels toe haha. That needs changing to that

Glad you are doing better. Had a nasty divorce a few years back. 3 Times before the judge with multiple false claims with CPS in the first year following initial divorce. They knew I was not doing anything wrong but the X was trying to bleed me dry so I eventually couldn't defend myself with an attorney. Had to sell my Land Cruiser, clothes, and a few personal items after already leaving her a fully furnished house. Friends saw what was happening and distanced themselves they didn't want to have to testify in court or pick a side. I felt like I had lost everything. And it was close. $45 in legal costs, which was more than my annual salary. Thankfully after the last time the judge saw what was happening, asked to speak to my children in his chambers, then came out dismissing the case and sternly warning my X that if she continued to do this he would revisit custody. Ended up with 50/50 custody and pay a lot in Child Support even though we have them an equal amount of time. Feel it was all worth it though because nothing can replace my kiddos. All this to say, I can empathize. Was the lowest point of my life. Every day was a battle to get out of bed and put my boots on. Thankfully we didn't give up. And having a bike rekindled my spirit in a way it hasn't burned in over a decade. Ride on brother!

I test rode a 1250GS yesterday as a potential replacement for my much loved AT. The GS was a revelation. The weight does really disappear. Easier to ride than my AT, and you could hustle it along like a scooter. For comparison I'm going to try an ATAS on Monday over in Farnham. I can see why people love those boxer engined BMW's. I never thought I'd like it. I'm surprised myself!

Hey Gavin I have the 1250GS in triple black and it is awesome 😎 you can also get the Stealth Fuel Exhaust for it and it transforms the way it sounds, I thought the standard sound was great until I fitted the Fuel exhaust. The only issue I have with the GS is the weight, but once moving you will scare some of the sports bike riders🤣 especially in the bends where the extra torque really pushes and pulls you through. 👍🏍

    Hi Mr Fish,
Are you using Google Maps to navigate? And if you are, are you getting the voice coming through the head set clearly? Here in Australia where phone coverage is poor (outside a city) navigating using Google is impractical, however it can be useful in built up areas but I struggle to get 'loud enough' sound in my head set.
I haven't watched past episodes but it sounds you've had a rough time - glad you doing well now.

How can people get mad over a video bringing attention to mens mental health? Mind boggling to me. I do agree with you that its often severely overlooked, as are things like domestic abuse aimed at men.
On the lighter topic, I have just had the first 1000km on my twin as well. Often take it offroad and every time when I do, it completely blows me away how good such a heavy bike can be offroad. The thing holding it back is definitely the rider in my case.
From what you are mentioning about the feel, have you ever properly tuned the suspension on the old bike? Sounds like it was just not properly set up!
Speaking about suspension, the standard front suspension of the 2022 model is spot on for about 85-95kg rider+gear weight. Free and rider sag are absolutely perfect, damping can always be adjusted to taste but is pretty good. Although I think if you are over 90kg body weight you probably need stiffer front springs.
The rear suspension though, has way too soft of a spring by default for me too, and probably most westerners. You can wind up preload all the way, but that of course means the free sag is way too small.

    • @Mrfish2015
      @Mrfish2015  2 роки тому

Thanks for that .. I did mess around with the suspension on the last one but it never felt like this one (probably the high seat and bars for off road)
