My 11yo black lab, a rescue from a shelter, has had me in a world of uncertainty the last three weeks, showing signs of dying. I've spent more tears in the last month than the rest of my adult life combined. I'm thrilled to share she has all but recovered, at about 85% of what she was, fighting through what we can only describe as a lower back or hip injury/sprain/pull. Seeing you with Jack makes me so happy, as I am now back with my Doggo too, although we have less exciting adventures. 😄 Everyone, love on your Doggos.
@@hunter-yy3ob Well, I woke up this morning and she peed all over my work bag. So, I'd say she's almost back to normal. 😅 About 1.5yrs ago she lost a game of Tug of War against a tree root (because...its a ROOT) and about 8hrs later she came around the corner with her eyes slamming shut, like a seizer, dragging her hind legs behind her. A vet visit later and she recovered in like 5 days. This event was less traumatic, just slowing down over a week or so, and is taking a month to bounce back. But she still patrols the yard, and has a solid history of squirrel, ground hog and rabbit kills. I'm going to be selfish here and demand at least another year out of her. 😜
Simon you have convinced me i can control the rats in my hen yard and hen house by shooting them. I have an old Stevens 22 Crackshot falling block rifle. It has an octagon barrel and open sights. I have been using CCI Low Noise Report shorts and it has gone very well. My wife's Yorkie has become the best ratter around, he is on them instantly once they fall from the rafters or fencing, crushing whatever life is left in the little devils. It is fun to watch you shoot them as you do, i however do not have the equipment you have. No night vision or cameras or silencers either for that matter. But watching you shoot so many varmints has encouraged me to do so myself, even in my old age. Thank you for that sir!
You know, there's just something about Jack that's absolutely endearing, and I'm glad he was there keeping an eye on you. I can't think of anyone more able to provider adult supervision than Jack. FWIW. I still love the quality of your videos. Very well edited, really well paced and they are delightful to watch.
That rat @ 4:29........sat him right up and laid him back. LOL That was great! I love the slap the 25's and 30's lay on a critter. You can really hear it.
That redwolf pins them to the ground !! The long tails on my permission can't resist peanut butter mixed with coffee. It's hard to pack up and go home when they keep sitting in the cross hairs.Aweome clear footage 👍
Some info from you please, I recently started to control the nunmbr of squirrels that love to attack my bird feeders, I have a wooded areas to the side of my property and only shoot what comes onto my land. To press I've shot seven, it's not overrun by them by any means, I'm not sure if I'm imaging it, but I now see and here more birds (lots of chirping going on as I type which is great) only ever seen one old nest high up in one of the trees, but noticed today albeit a magpie, looked to be starting to nest build. The question is does reducing squirrel population actually benefit the birds.
It does Chris ye to be honest but i know what you mean about the magpies as its a never ending story if i be honest as its illegal to shoot that magpie now to save songbirds but you can shoot it for say rare bird protection or say lamb protection.
That first rat you shot in slow motion made me laugh out loud because it sounded like a center fire rifle! Well done as usual great to see ole Jack with his new jacket. Have a great new week and see you on the next one!
