Hi Simon, really enjoy watching your videos mate. Always was a dream rifle for me even 45 years ago but alas just to expensive. Shame they no longer produce rifles, take care.
Well done Simon, great video, back in the day I had a Theoben rapid 12 in .20 lovely gun to shoot,l sold it to a FAC holder he reckoned it was easy to increase the power, apparently the early ones were easy to tune
A buddy of mine who has the FX King wants a pair of those Binos , they look really good . I hear they are brining more of them out very soon with an even better sensor ? Not sure mind , but that’s what I heard . I see the old Theo still does the biz 👍👍. Great vid mate .
Ye cheers Roger i love the FOV on them and the picture is pretty good to and ye the Rapid i always wonder will the modern PCP's both me and you are shooting now be about in 25 years time like the Rapids are today.
Nice piece of kit. Remember when the rapid 7 came out. Makes me feel old. Have you had to service the rapid 7 much? Have you got the habroks on loan? Expensive bit of kit. Just borrowed a set of a mate. Great bit of kit. Well impressed. Great video as always mate. Hope you’re all ok.
@@simon6ppc246 do you prefer them to the condor? Did you get your hw100 sorted? Got some 177 zan slugs if you want them. Can’t get them to work in anything of mine. Can drop them a Cheshire gun room for you. Will be there in a couple of days.

That Rapid 7 22 FAC is a hard hitter; I can clearly see and hear the difference in impact…it seems like I can almost feel how hard it hits. Thanks for the video!
Thanks Kevin and ye i am starting to get my feelers out so to speak just i am so fussy lol when it comes to dogs, i might get a bitch yet and call her Jill.
Hi Simon, I have just watched a chap on YT shoot a rabbit at 47 mtrs using a sub 12ft/lb .177 rifle, now to my mind that is a definite No No, what is your opinion please.
I personally wouldn't do it to be fair BUT! saying this i could probably hit my thumb nail at the same distance with my Wolverine so i don't know if that answers your question or not pal.
@@simon6ppc246 Cheers mate, just not sure if any pcp 12ft/lbs in .177 cal would have the stopping power at that range, would just severly injure the quarry which means it would suffer imo 👍. Unfortunately there are some idiots out there that give us all a bad name.
Have you ever taken a fox with one of your airguns? If so, was it on video? I've seen it on other channels and know it can be done quite handily with the right equipment.
On a holibag in Tenerife. BUT could not fail to watch my favourite shooting channel onUA-cam. Optics were fantastic both on scope and bi nocks. Thanks again for a great watch. 😊😊
Good to see you out of that cow shed. I use a fac rapid for ratting doing 32flb. Have you tried them 22 hades at that speed. I think they really do open up.
@@simon6ppc246 wish i could get mine to shoot slugs like your does. tried all sorts.i have a 25 slinging 32g barracuda at 900fps but no good with slugs. i'm trying to get a polygonal barrel.
Hi Simon, It was a lovely surprise to see you'd posted your video. I should have been out with my Ultimate Sporter, sub twelve early this morning. However, the weather forecast predicted a months rainfall today, in places. I had plenty to do at home, so I necked it. The aggravating thing is, sometimes, they get it wrong. Watching your film was the next best thing. I love seeing your rifles and you using them. Great shooting my friend. Thank you, Ian
Thank you Ian and really appreciate your comments and ye the weather up here for the next week has give shocking to be fair so will have to see, i will prob be back in the buildings again lol
What a great way to round the weekend off with a great hunting vid, thank you mate! Went to the woods on my permission today and even though the weather was pants it was just the best to be out in the countryside with the Ultimate Sporter. Man I wish that Theoben were still going as they made some stunning rifles back in the day! Thank you too for the kit reviews, they're really helpful and those binos look the bees knees. All the best mate and thank you again for another brilliant vid.
