The diner - I hate to be negative, but nah, not really enjoying it. Last time it was at least a novelty, and had a good card you could get. This time, it just feels more stressful and more of a grind, for a very meh card, and the top prize is a Jane Foster variant? There's already a Jane variant in conquest, so that was confusing. The constant pop ups to buy bubs, and as much as I like the character, Deadpool's constant voicelines are annoying af. I just put all of my voiceover volumes to 0. I feel like high voltage is the best thing SD has put out. I'm stopping diner once I get Eitri. Also, the matchmaking for low CL players is abysmal. Huge oversight IMO. Good on you for the tutorial, that'll be helpful for a lot of people.
It’s developers big fat middle finger to players, saying I can do whatever I want and you will still play it, just like Diablo immortal, they only want the 10% high playing player, FTP? Go to another table, lol
Agree, this event is terrible. As a newer player you get crushed by players 10x higher CL than you. During normal matches this isnt as big a deal as you only lose one match/cube but as you get higher in DD one defeat can set you back hours of progress. Fukk that!
Yeah it’s my first time playing it, missed the last one and it’s so stressful. Always losing by 1-2points then having to wait ages for the refill. Like you said high voltage was better
I'm like you, I'm not enjoying Diner as I did last time. I was high on the mode going in, but now I'm feeling the fatigue. I'm at 1.3 million bubs at the moment, and sure, I could get Eitri if I spent a bit of time on it every day, with proper strategy and pot management. But I also have family obligations for Thanksgiving and a big trip to Japan right after for the 20th anniversary with my wife, and frankly, I don't feel like dedicating the time and headspace to Diner when I have more important things in my life. I'm gonna play it whenever I can and if I get Eitri, cool, if not, fine. I'm pretty disappointed in SD for making this event even more grindy by taking away bots when many of us have family stuff to do, and not adding more in-between diner plates to smooth out the path to 15 million.
I didn't play too much this weekend, so i could change my mind later, but i still like this mode, in particulary the fact that you have to be more carefull from the third round and you can't simply stay and leave the last turn (unless you don't care about the bubs). Every turn cost so you have to read carefully your hand and what your opponent is doing
I don't mind DPD but you are right, it's too close to ladder and it has lost it's novelty. Was really hoping they would find a way to put a bit of a new spin on it, but I'm still happy for the rewards (free stuff is always appreciated). High voltage on the other hand felt like something fresh, while this is more of a grind.
Thanks for sharing these beautiful decks Snap Judgments. Can’t believe this season just flew by and we are in the last week. Definitely excited for next season pass card Galacta.
Diner is good at first, but potentially feels like it needs something to speed up bub refill between 600k and 30 million. Or maybe even just some more rewards in there. Yes, I have more than enough time to play it safe and work my way up to get King Eitri; however it just feels like you hit 600k and then rewards and progress slows to require grinding unless you make some good gambles and/or get very good at recognizing early when you need to retreat. Have been using the 1st deck listed here and it has been fantastic. Also a sneaky good ladder deck!
Diner is similar to play ladder but more pressured, I'm not gonna say it's horrible but it's kind of tiring, hope to have the time to get the rewards, great video as always
I am enjoying Deadpool’s diner more than last time. Simply because I was on vacation last diner and had limited time to play. I have been steadily climbing so I hope to have Eitri before the event ends.
I didn’t expect the event to be the same. And like the first time, it didn’t bother me because is just ladder with a different resource to bet. The only real thing that kinda bugged me is the top prize is a Jane Foster variant instead of a Eitri variant (plus there is another Jane Foster on conquest)
I think the Deadpool diner is simply too short for the average player. Doesn’t feel good to lose a close game and be locked out, while fearing not to be able to get the card. Also, because of the card, it feels you have to participate in this activity.
The grind from 400k to 15 million is crazy, there should definitely be another bub refresh between that at least, but the next one isn't until MUCH more
Diner's small updates are welcome. I wish they had added a plate before the 409.6k. it takes a while at 81.92k level. Feels grindy. Hoping the community helps out donating bubs again. (I will!)
Diner, I am having a similar experience as last time. Its more of the same game but if you lose you have to wait ~6-8h to try again. The biggest difference this time though is I am disappointed that because it is a bit of a grind the card as apposed to High Voltage but the card is above the same value as Agony. Also the Final variant at this end is such a bad choice for 2 reasons, 1 the variant is not Eitri, 2 It's a Jane Variant which we are already getting another different Variant for free in the Conquest shop.
I like Deadpool’s Dinner. I liked it last time and I like it this time. I feel like it adds more depth to the game without extending it (like Conquest). I think I’m not the norm, because I also didn’t care for the other event (High Voltage?). I liked the shorter matches, but it was so meaningless that wins and loses just felt empty.
I don’t mind dead pool diner but you are right it’s just like ladder. And I’d prefer they focused more on a new game mode. But I can’t complain about free stuff.
This is the first time Im playing Diner and I'm pretty neutral but most people I talk with that played the last one seem to dislike it because of things like the Jane at the end clashing with the Jane in conquest plus that it feels like nothing changed from people's complaints last time.
The diner- not really enjoying it so much this time cuz I'm loosing alot 😅, have no found that deck yet that I'm quite comfortable with, hopefully soon
I hate to admit it, but I've been have a really bad spot of luck the past 2 days in Deadpool's Diner....I've never had so many loses by one point in one location over the weirdest stuff. Either that or besides being countered by terrible locations - I seem to be pitted against a counter deck every time I play.....a counter deck that draws the nuts too. At least I can retreat when I see Mr. Negative. And I've tried everything except Move Bounce.... Plus, no bots to exploit either to help blunt the terrible draws. I hate grinding...however, I'm at a 250,000 bubs currently and that isn't too bad. (now over 1M bubs)

It’s the same but it does feel better compared to the whole cassandra countering arishem situation and how it was basically getting through the wall of arishem decks until you got cassandra
Hey Pulse! So far, I am not feeling a want to actually play the Diner to get Eitri. It just seems very non-motivating. It is kind of a disappointment, I was really looking forward to the Diner, since I also got Cassandra last time and it was definitely more fun.
I hated DD grind the last time. This time the grind is even worse since the bots at the higher tables seem to be removed at all. Non-fun experience for minimal rewards. I'll probably just stop playing DD. I even think about quitting the game completely.
Like last time, I enjoy this game mode in the early tables, but later on when the bet differences are huge, it gets a bit tedious, I wish there was a cool card back as a reward too.
Diner is ok, i kinda agree its alot of the same things as ladder and not much different from last time. At least its not just Arishem everywhere and a bit of variety.
It's terrible, I got Eitri but hated every second of it. If it helps, try to really stick to the tips, specially the ones about retreating on turn 3 if you don't have a good hand or locations suck and the one about playing 2 dishes below your highest dish. Really resist the temptation of going for a big dish. Only once you reach the 600k refill you can start playing at the green jello dish (for around 400k), I grinded that for a long time and even just getting free bubs from people retreating early and winning some games I slowly started climbing up to Eitri. Grab a deck you feel comfortable with, hopefully with some counters in it, this way you can better know when to stay and when to leave. It's just a matter of time, you'll get there, don't rush it. Just go slow and steady and you'll reach the 15M bubs. I believe in you! :D
@@benjaminherreralizana3937 Thanks! I’m hoping off as soon as I get frustrated so I don’t start wasting bubs on bad snaps etc. It’s slow but steady so far.
Tbh I kind of like DD, I get it, it's zero effort same as last time, but it's a slight twist on the game with the auto snaps and at least you have to actually try to win in this mode! Not sure about helicarrier replacing scorn in the final deck, seems like it has anti-synergy with strong guy, maybe it's the best option but seems significantly worse, scorn seems really important to discard right now.
I like the concept of Deadpool's Diner and I enjoy the gameplay, but I hate grinding, which this game mode requires of you if you want the rewards. I'm not trying to sweat after getting to infinite. That said, It's definitely better this time since the meta is more open, unlike last time we had the diner.
I was dreading Diner coming back and my fears were justified. I LOATHE this mode! I am 6 million away from Eitri and will probably get him no later than tomorrow and that's where I will stop. The top reward being so similar to the Conquest variant is ridiculous and I don't care enough about borders to move on. This mode should be completely reworked or never brought back. It is worse this time too because we have seen High Voltage (amazing game mode) and the free card is very niche. Diner simply makes me feel burnt out and angry and I don't feel that with any other mode.
Feel worse about diner this time around. The thing that made high voltage fun for me was figuring out there were literally no stakes so the only goal was finishing the quests. I stopped even paying attention to the opponent either way which might be a failing of it's own but it didn't feel bad. Crashing out with a pop-up saying "lol pay me" with a card reward tied to it, no matter how mid, feels scummy. Going on a bad roll is way more punishing with the raised stakes if you miscalculate or get hit with random arishem stuff as well.
I get that the Snap/Cube mechanic is smart in a way but I don't like it. I don't care for ladder very much. Low stakes high fun is more my vibe for this game. I like the Snap/Bubbs best in Deadpools diner, so I'm having fun. The rewards aren't bad. Ironically I had no Jane Foster varients until a couple weeks ago when I got the Dan Hipp, which is awesome. Now I have 3 aweome varients but doubt I'll use anything other than Hipp.
The way Diner plays, they could just reskin the main game and add a progress counter based on wins, where you get the rewards, cause gamemode wise it adds nothing. You still play the main game, only that if you haven't reached infinite, you are now wasting...i mean splitting... your time between 2 modes instead, trying to climb.
I’m a sucker for bully decks. And I have the cards! Also I’m quite enjoying dead pool this time around. Seems more chill and I can use some different decks
It's the deck I used to get cassandra Nova. I've never hit infinite or completed a conquest run and in at CL 15 k, so it must be a good deck. My win rate is about 20% though.
@@andrewbaker285 I was using a bunch of different decks with not so good results because everyone in the diner are running counters to Thanos decks, Fenris decks, and Surtur decks and arishem decks. Once I switched to Mr negative, I started rising fast, I am almost 80k right now
way better mode than the diner for me. largely for 2 reasons. 1. in diner i found more ppl trying to stop me from combing than combing themselves. like cosmos and storms. weirdly annoying things for a 3 turn high enough game. intentionally taking actions to prevent the seemingly intended purpose of the game. plus winning didnt matter so it was just a grind. 2. i need a reason to want to win. losing feels painful here and i need that for the game to be fun. diner had no reason to care about winning so i finshed the grind and stopped.
Im not hating dinner like most people. I think another mode to give excuses to play and earn some free rewards are pretty good. The end grind varient is... Weak though. Two same variants in two different mode om the same season is not the greatest thing. But with some feee gold and free 500 token free to grab just by playing (smartly) that is something i wouldn't say no to 😊
I'm sad they made no improvement to the diner. The gamemode still sucks but the rewards are good so I'm forcing myself to play it. Can't wait for it to be over lol
With all that negativity said, great videos and deck ideas for the diner. The discard list is crushing for me and Scream is pinned in my shop as my next card to get! :)
After High Voltage being simply a fun game mode. Random BS go, complete quests, no pressures to spend… DD “2.0” is a joyless and sleazy slog. After all the constructive feedback for the first diner, SD said “Nah!” The only change to remove bots. Punishing lower CL players the most, while locking high CL players and top players in tables with them because of the queue times at higher stakes tables. And while Snap is plagued by performance issues on all devices, the dreaded Buy More Bubs! Pop Up loads instantaneously and without fault. Priorities.
Assuming most players who hit infinite have already done so this season. Diner gives players something to do. High voltage was great, easy to complete and fun hitting the big combos.
I did not enjoy Diner last time and my opinion has not changed. The mode just seems to be built to promote the worst experience...when you want to play, you can't if you run out of bubs. When you want to stop playing you can't because you're over your refill limit and it's "smarter" to burn through all of them and get the refill while you're offline. In general it just leaves the player feeling unsatisfied and resentful
As a new player who started during the Kate Bishop season, Deadpool’s Diner is terrible when you’re missing tons of cards, is not series 3 complete and a handful of Series 5 cards. I’ll keep grinding but High Voltage was a joy compared to this wannabe casino mode.
am i allowed to curse? fudge deadpool dinner its a terriable event i dont understand the devs said they match u regarding ur CL level while im low CL level all im mostly facing is series 4 and 5 cards in arshiem, thanos and surtur which is blowing me out the waters
Diner was new last time which I think made it fun and exciting. This time it feels stale especially after how much fun High Voltage was. It was still a grind last time but this time it feels stale and I really am not enjoying it. As a real time sink I tend to play and then get fed up and snap stupidly, lose all my bubs and then close the game. Cannot be bothered with conquest or ladder at the moment. I think this is the most bored I have been with snap since the launch. Sad but true.
Diner is definitely the worse of the 2 modes in my mind. I had so much fun playing high voltage. I really hoped they would learn from the community excitment around that mode and its casualness
I hate it this time. It feels like a painful grind, expecially since they removed bots on the higher tables. And people are so mean, since they feel like they need to have the card ASAP. I never got Ms Marveled and toxic-emoted than now. People played the first DD because they wanted Cass, not because it was a fun mode. Now, we have a meh card, and a variant of Jane Foster...
It very annoying, it was fun last time cause it was the 1st time. Plus the card isn't as good as Cassandra Nova. Feel very grindy. Currently at 400K Bud right now.
After High Voltage's fast & furious fun, the Diner seems like more of a begrudgingly groan of a grind.
The diner - I hate to be negative, but nah, not really enjoying it. Last time it was at least a novelty, and had a good card you could get. Diner is ladder with a lockout. Silver-lining - makes Ladder and Conquest seem fun by comparison.

way better mode than the diner for me. largely for 2 reasons. 1. in diner i found more ppl trying to stop me from combing than combing themselves. like cosmos and storms. weirdly annoying things for a 3 turn high enough game. intentionally taking actions to prevent the seemingly intended purpose of the game. plus winning didnt matter so it was just a grind. 2. i need a reason to want to win. losing feels painful here and i need that for the game to be fun. diner had no reason to care about winning so i finshed the grind and stopped.
What does Anti Venom replace in Eva’s list?
Im not hating dinner like most people. I think another mode to give excuses to play and earn some free rewards are pretty good.
The end grind varient is... Weak though. Two same variants in two different mode om the same season is not the greatest thing.
But with some feee gold and free 500 token free to grab just by playing (smartly) that is something i wouldn't say no to 😊
Diner just doesn't vibe with me for some reason. I've basically skipped it this time around TBH.
alright, need your advise. should i purchase Anti Venom?
Need more info
@snapjudgmentspod I have 13k tokens, 7 keys, and don't feel very excited for the upcoming cards. I'm between Bob and him
Im really suprised the Eva deck didn't have anti venom in it. I ageee with you that it is much better
I've been putting off Diner, it was a slog last time and I'd rather just play ladder.
The only real good thing about Diner are cool rewards, otherwise it's just a time-consuming grind
I like the diner...idk the rewards are great and is pretty easy over all
I don’t mind Diner but the rewards this time suck. Mainly getting the card in case it gets buffed. 😅
I like the rewards but the bottlenecks in this mode are insane.
After High Voltage being simply a fun game mode. Random BS go, complete quests, no pressures to spend…
DD “2.0” is a joyless and sleazy slog. After all the constructive feedback for the first diner, SD said “Nah!”
The only change to remove bots. Punishing lower CL players the most, while locking high CL players and top players in tables with them because of the queue times at higher stakes tables.
And while Snap is plagued by performance issues on all devices, the dreaded Buy More Bubs! Pop Up loads instantaneously and without fault. Priorities.
What can I use to replace Aero?
I am not enjoying it at all. And i was playing a very similar Scream deck and still not winning 😢. Ill see if these changes help.
I see Frigga being used a lot… should I buy her?
it's my first dinner so i'm having fun but definetely not as fun as people said it was, it is hard grind
I like Dinner so much.
Don’t mind Deadpool’s diner, at least it’s something different than what’s usually going on
Assuming most players who hit infinite have already done so this season. Diner gives players something to do. High voltage was great, easy to complete and fun hitting the big combos.
I'm not enjoying it and it's not worth the effort. However, I'm at 2,5MM and I hope to get to King Eitri by Wednesday so that I can focus on conquest.
I liked it, but it felt bad when I lose all my bubs.
am i allowed to curse? fudge deadpool dinner its a terriable event i dont understand the devs said they match u regarding ur CL level while im low CL level all im mostly facing is series 4 and 5 cards in arshiem, thanos and surtur which is blowing me out the waters
I am having a hard time with the diner this time and it's causing me to rage quit lol I much more enjoyed high voltage.
I'm finding it ok but the grind at the 600k level is real.
I didn't like it. Because I am bad at the poker aspect. But I do appreciate the guide for the diner.
Who won the last season pass ? 😊
Last time, Diner stressed me out. This time I’m less stressed but also less impressed.
I'm not enjoying the Diner this time. I'm hate playing it to get King Etri.
