I think the Galacta season will be fun but its maybe a little overhyped. This season has actually been good from a meta perspective. Lots of good decks to play, but Surtur did fall out of the meta way faster than I expected.
The galacta season is definitely overhyped
This season was ok for me. Surtur is not really my thing, but I enjoyed the lists with the buffed Kitty or the one with Hit Monkey. I got Malekith, but havent found a deck I like with him, so he's been underwhelming (i dont have AntiVenom nor Wickan T.T). Fenris Wolf looks fun, but I dont have the resources.
December season looks way more fun. Galacta, Penny and Doom are all cards that I'm looking forward to.
The next season looks absolutely spectacular. It's definitely one of the best seasons of Snap not for just the fun but it's also a really good season for the game in general. It brings absolutely fresh card abilities with each card except perhaps Galacta.
Doom 2099 directly synergises with another card which is unseen, Luna Snow brings you interactable energy sources, Peni takes merge to a sufficient leap forward, Bruce brings percentage in cards for the first time, Rocket and Groot bring 2 existing cards together!
And it's also the first direct Snap collab that goes to such a scale, Midnight Suns was limited to variants. Overall, a super fresh season and one very needed. ❤
You can't imagine my wait for the Rivals season lol.
Great video as always, but this time I didn't have the essential cards for any decks :(
No Malekith and no Fenris
The next season just looks really fun overall, with galacta looking powerful, and cards like luna or doom just looking like they may help or create archetypes, bruce looking like he might make high evo a played deck again and rocket and groot might make a guardians deck. Definitely think the cards might be overhyped and might be the opposite of what people thought anti-venom and malekith would be compared to what they are.
The season does seem to have a more varied meta compared to this one, and i hope galacta doesnt fall out of the meta as quickly as surtur.
I started this game on October 15th of last month. This series drop was literally what was going to determine whether I continued to engage with it. It was not just a colossal failure, it was a literal slap in the face. All I see is them constantly kicking the economy can down the road and saying they are working on it. But their words mean nothing to me when every action they have almost ever taken has been directly antagonistic towards the player base. It was fun while it lasted, but this is the last I will ever engage with any product associated with Second Dinner or Ben Brode again.
I appreciate all the high quality daily content you provided, but I can't engage with anything involving this game or its community moving forward. Thanks for the hours of entertainment, I hope you continue pumping!

I play very, very casually (except during Deadpool's Diner) - all I pay for is the Season Pass because it is a phenomenal deal. If you enjoy the game, you'll enjoy the anticipation of building decks that you favor....I miss that anticipation of having Series 3 cards to obtain from Collector's Reserve spots on the CL timeline. You will catch up enough, but unless you are a whale or content creator - you'll never have every card.
Btw, I'd suggest getting Arishem as soon as possible because you can get a chance to experience every card and you'll have a strong malleable deck to use regardless of the meta.
This season that is finishing had a lot of staples cards, the one that comes also has really good ones, I think next one has less skipeable spotlights, but that is related more with the cards coming with the weekly one, maybe they're 4 or maybe 3 with the next drops, but they're more useful than some that came on this actual one, great video as always
Great video as always, you truly do find and showcase the best decks. Given the fact that the majority of the decks you showed this video have multiple card from this season, I think it will be hard to beat. However, cards like Gorr have a chance to be like the OG blob so the ceiling is pretty high. I’m hoping this coming season will be better 🙂thanks again for all you do bro.
I think next season will be a little better, both because it's dropping more cards and the Rivals collab means they've put some interesting new mechanics into the design. There are several combo cards that I think will be pretty good next season.
I've been a big goon knight fan since km video he talks about how important a big five is on 5 and relying on two threes to end game. He laments that darkhawk is only a 9 but says relying on widow to deny last turn draw so opponents hand is two cards is extremely important. It's a very fun deck eats arrisham alive but always blackbolt then widow activate. Fenris offers some great early game play. He also has a noki list with fenris. KM that is that's a lot of fun. Ive been having success which has been changing my opinion on fenris.
Rode this deck from 3m to over 50m in Deadpool Diner yesterday. Love.
I think the next season will be better and more fun because of the new cards effects plus it is the first collab we will have in Snap.
I think next season will be better. The devs have done a decent job at balancing the game when needed. For example, this season started soooo stale, but the recent patch really brought out the best in deck builders. I have seen a ton a variety in the meta since. So, I think as cards get added and the patches keep coming, it is only up from here. Oh and there's a series drop. That should *knock on wood* help f2p and recent players explore new cards too next season
Cards wise, I expect the next season to be better. Surtur and Galacta have fairly simple strategies accompanying them but I’m looking at the new cards with way more excitement than November’s cards. Their power seems to be through the roof and I’ll be able to grab some having saved up on my keys.
I think this season will be better overall than December's. Even though there are some cool cards coming, the spotlights are full of Series 4 cards, and the meta right now is varied and fun to play. I'm excited for several cards next month and to see what's all in the Series Drops, but it's been an enjoyable month of Snap
Comic recommendations:
For Marvel you should look at Immortal Thor, the current Incredible Hulk run and everytjing Jes McKay Moon Knight related.
For Image stuff I'd say read the Massiveverse. Those are some amazing independent creators creating a universe that isn't too complex yet. You can read the books independently. Radiant Black, Rogue Sun and for you I would say No/One (No/One just finished) could be the best of those books.
I think the December season will be interesting. November has interesting cards that support different decks and play styles. The Marvel Rivals season looks like it will continue that.
However, it could be worse if Galacta leads to Galactus and Clog being dominant again.
I think the Galacta season will probably be fun and interesting but also the collab with Rivals may be making it look better to some people then it actually may be (including me). Either way I'm excited mostly just cause I want to play Rivals and seeing characters from Rivals is cool
As for comics, I'm enjoying the new X-Men stuff. The one you didn't mention that I really like is Exceptional X-Men, with more focus on Kate Pride. Also, Namor. So good.

This next season will be great. At the end of the day, Marvel snap hasn’t had an actual bad season for me, the game is just really good. But this current season might be one of the best. Deadpool’s diner despite its flaws is an absolute blast, and there are so many good meta decks right now that I can always switch between things and have a good time. If my precious destroy deck were in a better place, the season would be perfect to me.

I think December will feel similar to this one in terms of interest and meta shift. Feels like a step down from Symbiote, which introduced a bunch of pretty powerful cards that have really revanped classic archetypes. I'm hoping January will improve on the current state
The next season will be great. Almost all the cards seem cracked. This season was good, but most of the cards were mid at best (I still got them all, including Fenris Wolf). I plan on getting all of December’s cards.
This season brought a lot of non-essential cards that are great to fill in later. Surtur is an excellent card but I typically like mid-range and tech decks more so....but that being said, other than Penny Parker - I think this season will be better than the next.
It is also becoming apparent that I have to obtain U.S. Agent at some point....he appears to be in nearly every deck. Oh, and Proxima Midnight too. And.... LOL
I am hopeful for a more exciting meta come next season so, yes. I haven't been huge on this season but it hasn't been bad at all. Maybe less exciting than the symbiote season in october.
I absolutely think that next season will be better. Not only do the cards look fun but the marvel rivals hype is also gonna contribute a lot to the whole season feeling more fun. Can’t wait for the rivals season and all the new videos that will come along with it!!

I’m really hoping next season will be better. With the way the spotlights n tokens are setup, i had to pass on all the cards except the season pass card which isn’t a card I enjoy that much
This season has had such an open meta, it's hard for me to think that December could be better. November gave us Frigga and Malekith! December gives us Peni Parker and Doom 2099! I'm a little worried that the December cards might be overturned, which could spoil the meta for a while, but Christmas bundle is something to look forward to 🎉
Had a good season thus far but nothing to do with the new cards, only opened for Red Guardian… Didn’t bother with Surtur, flipped between solid Agent Venom and Negative decks and climbed almost 1000 up from 6200’s to 7100’s on ladder… So, cards wise, it’s been fairly average, hopefully Gorr will be decent. Next season feels like it’ll be a lot more new card fun, Galacta seems great, probably open for Luna as I’m after X23, maybe Penny for Gladiator… Sad not to have Galactus yet though 13:13

Next season will be better becasue it will be a 5 weeks season. A part from that the new cards seem overall very strong and probably better than the november's ones. Galacta maybe will make Galactus rise again and i don't know if this is a good news or not, but the other cards seem strng and funny and maybe will create some new kind of the deck. We will see
I definitely think the December season will be better. A crossover usually means that to me at least and the cards look fairly strong. My only missing cards from the caches are Lady D and Selene for the next two months so I’m hoping I get a lot of one shots
Quite hard to evaluate but at 1st glance the Decembre season seems pretty solid with many card types that seem "better" to me, whereas I'm not hyped by the Rivals game at all.
But looking at the proposed Spotlight weeks (if datamines are confirmed), the Dec. season doesn't look any better (but worse?) than this Nov. one; already too many S4 where present and even more with the recent Series Drop announcement.
I expect the December season to be more interesting than the November one. I'm waiting for Luna Snow, plus it's the only spotlight cache where I don't have a repeat card (actually also Miek, but who needs it)
I do expect the new season to be better due to it being a crossover they will make a concerned effort to have excellent cards to help promote the game easier.

Let's discuss the series drops, they are a joke and not near enough for the game not too loose players or making it easier for more players too start playing.
Exactly. The announced drop is only moving 3 cards to series 3. If you're looking at it from the perspective of "How many free cards can I get" is the second worst series drop in the history of the game, with the only worse one being in June 2023, where ONLY Shanna dropped. That was also the drop where they stopped dropping cards monthly.
I loved the cards this season, enjoyed the decks that had malekith, frigga and wolf. Surtur decks not much. Excited for next season. I played the beta for rivals. Enjoyed it coming from an overwatch player. Peni, and doom would be on my to get list

Rivals, and I think that the variety of abilities will give players more creativity & avenues to play.
Trying to find a direct strategy that needs galacta is difficult- might get the pass and do some experimenting- was thinking some spam might actually be good
I expect the next season to be very strong, probably stronger. Seems like a lot of the cards are just very strong on the whole. But so hard to project.
I think the upcoming season will be pretty darn good, the season pass didn’t warp the meta this season nearly as much as hoped and the stuff for next season seems more daring - Penni Parker looks nuts!
I really liked this season,Sutur gonna be a must buy for me after the end of the season,frigga and malekith have potential, fenris is gonna be nerfed some day 100%,and Goor is better than knull in negative...overall a great season
Galactica seems like a more interesting and flexible season pass card, The other cards also seem more uniquely designed but I don't think they'll have the same meta impact.

I think next season's cards have higher levels of complexity. Peni Parker being a move+merge+buff+card generation card is just so insane. Very cool, next season better for sure
I think and hope the Galacta season will be better, but I'm not holding my breath. Surtur was a phenomenal season pass card and Deadpool Diner along with a big OTA was solid.

Hey Aaron! Next season looks like it will be a really fun one. Not sure it will be better per se than the current one, but it certainly has some fire cards! I love where the meta is right now with so many different archetypes being viable. Keep up the amazing work!
Hoping next season will be better, but I don't think it will...at least for me. The November cards were definitely more interesting to me than the December ones and I was also missing more spotlight cards so that was nice.

The next season looks like a blast from power level perspective, but they did really bad with the caches. Almost every card in the caches is S4, after the series drop and I am tired of wasting my keys on variants I do not use. I have a stockpile of tokens, but still will be conservative, only if you SAY A CARD REALLY ROCKS i wlll get it :D
Next season is kind of special with the Rivals crossover. I’m actually hyped the release of Rivals on console aswell 🎉

I think this upcoming season will be hit or miss depending on what cards drop. I think we can assume all the cards in the cache for December won’t drop which is concerning because a lot of them are cards that should drop. As a Galactus enjoyer I am excited for Galacta and I hope it’ll be better than what November has been!
Hopeful next season is better. The ota's only real bright spot was making Thanos viable again and I've despised diner this go around so closest I've been to dropping the game for a bit.
I think it's already better. Last season, I was incredibly waiting for this season to come. Now we're currently in it, I can definitely say it's already better especially at the start. Surtur from the pass is way too OP. Only card I got this season is Fenris. That spotlight caches lineups don't give me enough confidence to pull cards through keys.
I think December will be better but mainly cause I’m hype for Rivals and finding Snap to be a little less must play because of the aggressive economy. I hope there are generous bundles cause I’m less interested in spending money due to feeling taken advantage of.
I am almost certain that the next season would be better compared to the current one. Galacta is way more versatile and enables other combos. The other incoming cards also seems more fun and exciting to play. A collab with a new game under the same IP will sure bring much hype and enjoyment.
It hard to say I look at December spotlight and there some solid hits. It all about upscale each spot as you play. So early game is great but not so great in late in the game. I like November some card are hit and miss but surtur is number 1 card this month.
Oh yeah, this season will be bonkers! Galacta looks great and will definitely bring back Galactus in a big way.

I’m hoping the next season will be better. I haven’t been so into the cards this season. I did get lucky with my key though so that is nice. But I’ve been moving and too distracted to get into any real playing groove.

For me, the December season will be better overall because the datamined cards don't look like they just go in a single deck/archetype. I think the meta will remain open and interesting, and that the next season will benefit from the open meta Snap has at the moment as compared to how the previous season started. Although, when it comes to the theme and card art, I like the Surtur season more.

Hard to guess about which is the better season, especially for F2P. This season was reasonably accessible to us (not a ton of banger new cards, but maybe the butcher will be?). Not sure if next will be.

I think the next season looks a little better, the not super excited about the characters or the Rivals theme but the mechanics are more interesting or at least, a lot less straight forward than what we've had in Surtur season.
I will say though, I've enjoyed Surtur season and we haven't even got Gorr yet (at time of writing).

Next season I think will be more interesting based on the types of things the cards can enable. Not 100% sure it will be better though.
I think next seasons cards being more powerful than the average of this season will make it feel better. Only feel better though as I think when we look back in review, say in 6 months, I think generally every season is good to great and full of powerful cards that drive different or new archtypes. Diner is dragging down the end of this season for me though, sorry just feels a bit of a flat way to close off Surtur month.
I'm missing 1 fricking card in this game, and it's Hydra Bob. I thought that would be a safe skip. Now he is in every deck! Damnit!
Next season looks really strong at the moment. Given the stiffening competition and the chance for a strong tie-in /synergy with rivals I feel like this season isn’t going to compete at the end of the day.
I hope next season is better bc I'm only now starting to enjoy this one. Though I'm actually looking forward to the Jan season.
I am guessing the cards in this month are more key pieces and will always be a part of metas now but I can see myself having more fun next month with those cards

I think next season will be better. The cards seem more generic and I think it’ll allow deck creators to really test their limits. Unfortunately, I’m no deck builder but I am watching this show daily for deck ideas. Keep up the great work!

This past season has been very good. I know next season looks good but high anticipation seems to fall flat. Sticking with this season as better
I feel like a broken record, lol, but...being f2p, I always look at cards I'm willing to skip, even though I really do want them. So times, that also is influenced by the other Spotlight cards, but I also will gamble if the card is good enough. I only see one week as "can't miss" and that is Doom 2099. This season had more cards that instantly became staples, but next season does not have Diner and that's a big win lol.
This season was amazing . Had some bangers that i missed almost all . But next season should be better . So many cool cards , we will see . On the note i hope i am wrong and next season be a flop only because i dont have a lot of resources :P
