City Limits Fishing was a show that aired some time back with professional angler Mike Iaconelli. On this show, Ike went out in fishing for a limit of 5 fish in populated cities and urban environments, like Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC and other populated areas. People were surprised to see how often Mike was able to catch fish swimming right in their populated city waterways. Join Iaconelli as he goes fishing, sometimes for bass, sometimes for other fish species, in major cities across the US.

Man I just started fishing bought everything from chargeable air stones, bait buckets, different rods and reels, different size hooks and weights, bobbers and honestly I don't think I waisted a dime. All I want to do now is go fishing and trying all waters, ponds, lagoons, rivers and lakes... I even told my wife I'm going to the Carolinas just to fish for red snappers
Mike is by far my favorite fisherman. I’ve remember watching this show when it was on tv. You are the reason I wanted to start my professional fishing career. Keep it up Ike!

Hey Mike, I was in Lake Calumet in 2000 when you were in the corner at the head of the lake and caught that big drum/ sheephead. It was very intense at the time. I think he was a little dizzy when you released it. lol
You dig through the attic to find that green parka? They’re back in style again ike.
This we recorded years ago Charles but just incase they do come back in style I kept it.
I fish Lake Michigan near Chicago for smallys and salmon/trout and other stuff like that. It can be tough but it is a fun lake to fish.
I grew up around Chicago the SMB fishing is amazing on lake michigan!!

Hey Mike im new to your channel and happened upon this vid of my home town. Great stuff here and a little fyi the illinois state record small mouth record was just broken with a 7lb3oz catch from lake michigan.

This show means so much to me. When I was little I used to watch this with my Dad on Versus. This really further ignited my passion for fishing and really made me a life long fan of Mike Iaconelli. He's still by far my favorite fisherman. He really taught me about viewing fishing as a "puzzle".

I'm down there pretty often, its even better now . Smallies are aggressive and they've never seen bait. Throwing fat ika's the other day right after ice out same ax you corners and pilings and 3 hrs of solid action

Good job earning the telly awards you earned it! I miss whenever you did the episodes in 2009 was when my brother was born you made it a good year for me ike. Also come back to San Diego, California and fish bass at a lake where Dottie was caught just south of San diego.
