Absolutely loved that end fight. First the modder trolls you by spawning a thousand Marauders then insta kills all of them as if to say, “Haha gotcha.” Then they slowly spawn every enemy in the game as they are introduced from the base game all the way through both DLC’s. Awesome.

Demonic Troopers, from walking ammo pouch, to long-range bullet-hell applicator. I love the use of the Stone Imps to stop the player from popping the Spirits right away, and that 20 Marauder fake-out right before the tribute arena.
This master levels looks so good, I hope this is what the actual one is like. TAG 2 felt easier than part one but I hope the tag 2 master levels are much more difficult, like a final send off for doom eternal
I love that this level actually uses the demon troops right. They're not meant for direct combat, but long range pressure and harassment to keep you moving
i have played this exact same master level and trust me when I say, but neither did i understand a tad bit of whatever the fuck i was doing. just shoot, chainsaw, repeat

some day i wish i will be in this level of playing Doom but for that to happen i think that i will have to dedicate more than just 2 hours of playing it

I enjoyed the hell (no pun intended) out of this master level. THIS is what The World Spear should have been, a big challenge with all the new demons but no gimmicky use of demon walls to trap the player in a room where you can't jump with possessed pinkies or lasers that slow you down if you hit them. Eternal is all about using verticality and speed to your advantage so these things felt cheap and out of place. The escalation encounter in this level with the four Archviles is a perfect example of an intensely difficult encounter where the good ol' Doom dance allows you to win with a very open arena that you can navigate through (and I hate Archviles, so for me to like this part so much speaks volumes for the stellar design of this fight). Brilliant level
Swear I had a dream like this but with Alex mercer prototype powers and destroyed everything from consuming each demon became a legitimate god, summoning my own demons after consuming multiple archviles, I was ABSOLUTE!!! FILLED WITH ARGENT ENERGY!!
BRINGS the FULL AUTO on those stone imps! haha I was yelling at the screen: "FULL AUTO!!" haha dude, you're a god, this is amazing, rock on! Great to watch. 18:24
Seems like a couple arena lasts waaaay too long. Even when you're absolutely killing it, its just wave after wave after wave. "Pacing" as Hugo puts it. You could just spam a bajillion monsters but how do they play together and with the environment?
Just cuz the arenas have a ton of enemies doesn't mean they're not thought out, the creator of this ml picks some good demon combos and has really good meathook grapple placement, also Hugo's recent obsession with "pacing" is what got TAG1 nerfed so heavily
@@aceskeletonne7446 I agree that this level is actually FUN, because of the relentless encounters, if it was any easier, then people are are good at the game won't feel challenged. Not only that but this ML encourages movement in circles around the arena as dangerous long range enemies are deadly as the up close melee enemies so it's all about if your good enough to not get cornered while mastering the loop of getting ammo health and armor while being efficient
Why does the world spear soundtrack play during the second escalation encounters? Also you should probably turn down the sfx and voice volume. You can barely hear the music
I have played through this master level fully and completed it on nightmare and to answer your question, they change the music to make the fights feel more dynamic, it would be boring as hell to have just one single combat track for what is possibly an hour long level. I like the music changes as it keeps you in the flow of ripping and tearing UNTIL IT IS DONE

@@jimit.4220 yeah it's all good. Doom eternal is extremely moddable. For example I got mods that allowed the corpses to stay on the ground permanently which makes the arena full of corpses for a truely metal feel and I personally prefer that to how it normally works where everything from demons disappears and also got a mod that allows rain on any level and I used them both on this IMMORA master level and to me the music was perfect for the level because it's really relentless and you need to keep making new statregies when up against crazy demon combos like these. But all in all it's definitely possible to mod the game so that u can play this master level while keeping the original music.
If any level deserves the Master Level treatment, it's Immora. This is the final battle between the Slayer and the forces of Hell, after all.
