Bonita tried SEVERAL times to push Candy OF OF HER before she attacked her. if candy had listened and let go she wouldnt have been attacked like that. she didn't listen or learn many rules. thats why she died. no suprise that it happened.

They are extremely vicious when they attack. At least with macaques you may have a fighting chance. With a chimp forget about it. Yes I agree they are nasty pets. With the money spent you could buy a house in some cities , if not definitely a brand new car.

Seriously never seen any monkey in any situation behave this way. Abandoned monkeys are usually sketchy and run from monkeys who don’t even mean harm. Candy grabs info any limb of any monkey in reach big, small, nasty, or nice. Even the monkey who came to comfort her had to pry her off eventually. You’d think a few bites would do the trick but she just grabs hold and won’t let go
I agree, I honestly believe she was brain damaged from the day she was popped out, whether some type of birth defect, possibly inbreeding, who knows but all of her issues did not stem entirely from living with humans. There's been hundreds of monkeys taken at birth and returned later and none of them acted as stupid as Candy. They should've just euthanized her from the get go instead of letting the others use her for a punching bag, don't get me wrong, I don't blame the other monkeys for doing to her what they did, they just got fed up with her moronic actions and acted as they always have, they're animals not humans who can understand her weird issues. Not every monkey will behave the same. Candy is like this because she was kept as a pet, other monkeys were around hence why she loves to cling to them, that was her only safety in captivity. She’s have a hard time in the wild and she’s insecure it happens.

Shes a baby for Pete's sake. She wanted to go with mom and she just wants to be loved. It's awful for these babies when mom pushes them out of the nest that she makes with her body. Well, it looks like they tried to gently nudge her off the start with…and that didn’t work. They can’t TELL her to eff off, so they did what they knew would work…attacked her. She seemed to understand that.

IMO, Abandoned Candy never stood a chance at being a monkey. Over and over, and over again, the troop tried to (often lovingly) teach her. Only for idiotic humans to consistently demolish her chances by throwing her that dumb blanket she hides under. Further separating her from the troop and any hope of appearing "normal" to the other monkeys. They were beyond patient with her constant extreme clingyness, psychosis, dramatics and CONSTANT squalling and squeaking. I heard a sad rumor that she was gutted and killed by a male.

@@MariaIdalia1960 nope, the right thing to do there was not interfering, with them shielding the rat the punishment wasn’t severe enough to serve its purpose and teach the rat a lesson but the troop’s goodwill was burnt through anyway, eventually the goodwill got all used up and the rat wound up torn apart. Those things are pretty dumb, stubborn and lazy, they ONLY learn through pain and a lot of it at that, whether in the wild or at someone’s house, if they left it alone to learn its lesson, it would have been beaten to within an inch of its life several times but it would learn that being a screechy, spastic leech HURTS bad enough that it’s not worth doing, then it would have had a shot at living out its natural lifespan

If this were a wild monkey I sooooo agree…..but she has been a pet and dumped by evil sorry assed money grubbing assholes that threw her away once she was out of what they consider the “cute” phase!!!!! In this case- it’s not her fault ……plus you can tell by the way she stands so much that her arms were tied in order to make her walk and stand upright….plus the way anytime she’s scared or doesn’t know what to do or where to go…she stands up and immediately tucks her hands into her stomach and starts lipsmaking furiously…….I can tell you exactly why she is doing that--her owner obviously would strike and hit her hands and arms if she reached out her hands for anything…..what her in future videos-anytime she’s scared,stressed, or just doesn’t know what to do-she will stand up and immediately tuck her hands in and start lipsmaking to the VO’S for help and they just stand there filming away waiting for the trouble to start!! If these were normal monkeys I could understand it but not this way considering all the trauma she’s already lived through!!

Seriously never seen any monkey in any situation behave this way. Abandoned monkeys are usually sketchy and run from monkeys who don’t even mean harm. Candy grabs info any limb of any monkey in reach big, small, nasty, or nice. Even the monkey who came to comfort her had to pry her off eventually. You’d think a few bites would do the trick but she just grabs hold and won’t let go
I agree, I honestly believe she was brain damaged from the day she was popped out, whether some type of birth defect, possibly inbreeding, who knows but all of her issues did not stem entirely from living with humans. There's been hundreds of monkeys taken at birth and returned later and none of them acted as stupid as Candy. They should've just euthanized her from the get go instead of letting the others use her for a punching bag, don't get me wrong, I don't blame the other monkeys for doing to her what they did, they just got fed up with her moronic actions and acted as they always have, they're animals not humans who can understand her weird issues. She would've never acclimated to life anywhere, and if I was to bet, I'd say her owners had been dealing with her crazy behavior since day one and just couldn't take anymore from such a neurotic psycho monkey.

Not every monkey will behave the same. Candy is like this because she was kept as a pet, other monkeys were around hence why she loves to cling to them, that was her only safety in captivity. She’s have a hard time in the wild and she’s insecure it happens.

Candy brought the attacks on it's self always crying. And monkeys are suppose to be smart. If they were smart they wouldn't be throwing tantrums still if they knew they got them attached.

IMO, Abandoned Candy never stood a chance at being a monkey. Over and over, and over again, the troop tried to (often lovingly) teach her. Only for idiotic humans to consistently demolish her chances by throwing her that dumb blanket she hides under. Further separating her from the troop and any hope of appearing "normal" to the other monkeys. They were beyond patient with her constant extreme clingyness, psychosis, dramatics and CONSTANT squalling and squeaking. I heard a sad rumor that she was gutted and killed by a male.

This is a long tail pet abandoned in a troop of pigtail monkeys and has no monkey skills! It will probably be killed!

Maybe if you guys didn't always run and try to save her. And you let the adult monkeys teacher a lesson about clinging on to everything she sees. Maybe she wouldn't have been killed by an angry monkey. Because she would know better

@@MariaIdalia1960 nope, the right thing to do there was not interfering, with them shielding the rat the punishment wasn’t severe enough to serve its purpose and teach the rat a lesson but the troop’s goodwill was burnt through anyway, eventually the goodwill got all used up and the rat wound up torn apart. Those things are pretty dumb, stubborn and lazy, they ONLY learn through pain and a lot of it at that, whether in the wild or at someone’s house, if they left it alone to learn its lesson, it would have been beaten to within an inch of its life several times but it would learn that being a screechy, spastic leech HURTS bad enough that it’s not worth doing, then it would have had a shot at living out its natural lifespan
