Correct bud... Makes a perfect hookup... I snell my hooks a little differently but it's just so difficult to explain in words but thus way will work just as well...
@@brendennaicker9962 yeah, we’ve had to show some people… I guess there are variations im sure… But If you take your hook in your hand and hold gently, and pull your line, you should be able to feel a hook up on your hand if it’s done correctly… something to try if you haven’t🤙🏻
What reel is that?! I just saw the angler let a whole wave flush into his reel to take a picture. I am thinking it gets a wave often, I absolutely want to buy one.

Remember when Snelling your hook, make sure to push the line through from the back of the shank to finish off the knot... Tight lines... Enjoy...
Good tip, that is the correct way so the hook pulls up to set, when you lift your rod🤙🏻

Yep that's one easy way to make sure it's done correctly... The line must go towards the point of the hook upon completion...
