Workaholics helped me get through a deployment to Afghanistan. I was surrounded by shit and death and negativity. After a 12-hour patrol and then a 12-hour guard shift, I would fall into my bunk and start playing Workaholics on my laptop. It's been almost ten years and I remember it vividly. Workaholics is the only show that I feel like understood my generations. Actual 90s kids. Ones born in the late 80s. It was a perfect depiction of middle class white dudes that age.
Bro I couldn’t have said it better myself. Was born in 90’. Grew up in a middle class predominately white neighborhood about 30 minutes away from Rancho Cucamonga lol. My 2 best friends and I moved into a house together when we were 21-22. All of us had bullshit jobs that we didn’t give a fuck about. Pretty much every day at that house was a party. The place was constantly littered with empty beer cans. We were dabbling with shrooms at the time too. Every weekend was a shenanigan shit show lol. We didn’t take life too seriously at that time at all. This show was out around that time and me and the boys always loved it and related with it. Workaholics completely embodied the ‘young middle class party culture’. (Nostalgia, I miss those carefree days. Me and the boys are in our early 30’s now, all with families and careers, but I’ll never forget those times and this show)

Yeah totally.. because thinking pedophiles are awesome to hang out with isn't controversial at all lol.. you do realize 4 of their episodes were pulled from every streaming service that has workaholics right?
What they did? They made good comedy. Anyone that has a problem with the jokes they made in workaholics needs counseling because they get offended way too easily and are the worst thing about modern day society.
Workaholics got me though my dad passed. I had never been more depressed. Workaholics was the first thing that got me to crack an unexpected smile in almost a year. By the time I was finished with the series I was back to living a semi normal life. I will always be thankful for the series and what it did for me
Workaholics is something I'll still watch. Bought all the seasons on xbox and if I'm too trashed to play any games I'll put it on and just let it go. Wake up on the couch to some random ass joke that makes me laugh, it's a great show
I'm so honored I got into Workaholics when it first came out. I was in high school and I remember seeing it when they were showing it on comedy central. In my opinion one of the greatest and funniest shows of all time!! I also had the free Carl shirt with his mugshot and the take it sleazy with the guys on the front of course:) wish I still had those shirts😔 it's ridiculous that the movie isn't being made yet but all in due time guys just wait and see😊
Workaholics was my shit in high school. I would faithfully record & watch it every week. My sister loved it to. I wasn't even a stoner or anything, it just resonated with me because it felt like i was hanging out with friends. Unfortunately, rewatching it now at 26, I haven't laughed as hard as i did back then when it was fresh. Now it's more of an appreciation/nostalgia watch for me when I watch it again. Brings back good memories. Maybe I should start smoking and see if it'll bring back the hard laughs for me
I definitely haven’t watched all of Workaholics yet. And to be honest, I’m glad. It’s been a joy to have some newness after all these years. I think fondly back to the one who introduced me to season 1, it’s a nice memory tucked away. I just watched season 4, Beer Heist, Best Buds, Time Chair and The One Where the Guys Play Basketball. I laughed so fucking hard at Adam falling into the sunroof in the basketball episode I gave myself a headache. Jesus Tittyfucking Christ this show is pure gold. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. Clearly from the comments, this show really resonated with this generation.
I remember when Workaholics first came out and I wanted to check it out, but missed the first episode or 2, but my dad I guess watched it when he was flipping through the channels and told me later on , Oh I just watched this dumb ass show, it reminded me of you and your friends, so I started watching and have no regrets haha.

You really don't understand comedy if you think this kind of thingcould work without a straight man. Ders being both a straight man and also being kind of insecure and really wanting to be one of the cool guys made his character unique and fun.
Speaking of the Charlie Sheen roast, anders tried to do a bit on Patrice O'neal on the red carpet and it completely flopped, and patrice did not like him so kudos on having 1 interaction with the funniest man who ever lived and blew it
These guys showed up to my BBQ in the summer of 2009 in Studio City and asked me to do sound for like $50 a day for some pilot and I was like 15 coors lights deep after chugging beers and cooking burgers for hours and I was like "fuck you, $50 is dumb" and I guess I was the dumb one somehow in the end. Hollywood is kinda whack like that.
The Vo's a S'go!!! Ugh it's unlistenable with that lawnmower in the background... you should fire his ass and deport him... oh wait.... That's just my laptop's fan...
This show and Always Sunny are by far the best adult comedy series of the 2000's, and arguably of all time.
