I'd be forever grateful if you could tell me the 4 digit number embossed on that Hurst stick. It should be somewhere close to the two bolts near the bottom. Sometimes it's right above both of them, sometimes it's between them.
I'm looking to put the 10 speed auto from a Mustang GT in my 2000 Grand Marquis. Not sure if it will be worth the Trouble But the Flexibility of a 10 speed would be Perfect for a Panther Car. What do you think? Am I Crazy?
Nice car man, the old one looks great too! And regarding the old one, did that Setina push Bumper come with the car with those lights in it? As far as I’ve known, Setina cut production of the push bumper for the crown Vic before the Whelen Ion came out, so I’m curious how that push bumper came to be.
It did not come with that car but it was made specifically for it. To my knowledge the ions came out as the Vic was going out. Departments didn't want to spend the money putting these on their Vics. I got the push bar brand new in box when I bought It. It also didn't come with the whelen package. I upfitted it myself for security work.
1st to comment: have you taken it on any long journeys yet? With that road noise, it could get tiresome. That said, it sounds like a fun car man, congrats.
I have to install a new radiator but aside from that it runs great. I had an impact with a deer. I should try to find your number in my text history and hit you up.
@@marlboromount I am. I have taken the police gear out for weight reduction and plan to once it’s fixed again put some work under the hood to give it a few more horse power. I had the exhaust straight piped and went with the flow master exhaust.
Thanks algorithm, a manual swap Vic has been my dream daily for years I want one so bad!
I’ve dreamed of one for a while. Now I have to fix it though. Hit a deer :(

It's not been on any really long trips. I've been giving consideration to places I could go though.
@Sov92 about 3hrs should be enough to tell if you have any exhaust issues or maddening noise levels. :)
