I remember reading that the Luftwaffe give an order to fighter pilots to not attack aircraft with a tail gunner directly from behind (six o;clock)

How do you get the shot from the ground. I can see it if you had chosen a ground target, and then had them view up at the aircraft, but how do you choose a random spot on the ground so you can film the sky? Thanks.

Those PE2s are hard to catch on IL2 once they've jettisoned their loads.

Il-2 is pretty cinematic by itself. Just turn off even that minimal HUD.

Free camera (F11) then just navigate to desired location with WASD and pan around with the mouse.
