You might like to recreate REAL events from WW2. Read "Fly for your Life", the biography of the Spitfire ace, Bob Stanford Tuck. He was alone over the North Sea and attacked by some 109s. He shot down three or four (I can't remember) but his Spitfire was damaged and he baled out. The combat was seen by a British trawler, which rescued him.

Now i m watching these dogfights of planes, espicially those Spitfire remains me during mine younger days, around late fifties n early sixties, my dad used to buy comics of fighter planes from Britain against those from Germany during WW 2. 'BATTLER BRITAIN' thats the top fighter pilot flying a spitfire, my favourite..
Exactly what I was thinking, I would not get into a rate fight with a Spitfire. Bf 109’s are energy fighters, not dogfighters. As a fighter pilot I would never fight the other pilots fight unless I had such a sweet shot that I thought I could end it quickly, but if I missed then I would immediately try turning it into my fight.
The thing that gets me in these game videos is like when the spit is in a steep bank, the ailerons are deflecting opposite of the way they should be. A litter later the 109's control is right then it's wrong, all in the same scene from one movement to the next.
Why would you think they are deflected in the wrong direction ? Once the bank is established, the up wing is faster than the down wing, so it produces a little more lift you have to counteract this tendency by banking slightly opposite of the turn, if you don't your plane keeps rolling.
What fuel is the spitfire using? Is it American 150 octane vs a 87 octane bf109? How about the bf109 get the same fuels see which is faster after a quick tune.

Certainly, in the German records both prefixes are sometimes used for the 109. However, the fact remains that the Bf 109 was the product of another company that was eventually acquired by Messerschmitt, at the direction of the National Socialist state. The accepted convention in such circumstances is that the original designation, in this case Bf 109 remains in force. So, the 109 remains a Bf while the 410, for example, is rightly prefaced by Me. Just because a bunch of sloppy officials fail to adhere to the correct convention doesn't change what is, or is not, 'correct'.

Soon after the invasion the Allies faced the problem of camouflaging their aircraft when they're situated at local airfields in France. To get rid of this, they decided to leave the stripes as they were beneath, so it was still possible to quickly identify Allied aircraft in the air (quite similar to the germans painting their noses yellow underneath). But to retain the ease of camouflaging planes the stripes were got rid of everywhere else.
I think RAF pilots were flying on patrols in groups of two or four fighters. Alone spitfires had to report weather situation to OPS and they didn´t have to attack enemy planes 🤔

The main constructor of the aircraft shot down in this movie, Professor Willy Messerschmitt worked for Bayerishe Fleugzewerke when he designed the Bf 109, in 1938 he bought the Bayerishe Fleugzewerke with the Permission of Nazi Germany, merged it with another company and the result became the Messerschmitt AG. Aircraft designed prior to this merge, is designated Bf + typnumber (in this case Bf 109, NOT Me 109.)

I do wonder though, what is the point of guys only in fighter aircraft shooting each other out of the sky? This presentation needed a few dozen Luftwaffe bombers to justify the RAF patrol and the German BF-109s escorts even being up there in the first place, right?
Usually it is. It could be a scramble, but still those have origin from Defense fighters against escorts. So yeah, no realistic point in that dogfight, but if realistically RAF saw some 109s coming even without reason they’d obviously shoot em down
Anyway, operationally during the Battle of Britain, the RAF tried to avoid wasting their fighters on patrols and seeking combat with fighters, their job was to knock down the bombers and avoid getting sucked into the type of battle the Germans wanted them to fight. Yes dogfights did occur & the British did send out fighter patrols, but they weren't considered ideal for the British

Think energy management ! Gray out yes, never, never black out . When you come to if you ever do , before crashing . You will have forgotten how to fly for a few minutes . In those few minutes a lot can happen ! The Spit can take 10 "G" can you ?
@Dr Chad ThunderCock No, it depended on the version of each fighter. The best Bader flew in WW2 was the Spit Mk V, which the Fw190 outclassed. Along came the Spit Mk IX in later 1942 and 43 and the Germans were on their heels again.
120 rounds per gun for the two cannon and 350 rounds per gun for the two 0.5 machine guns. Plenty for short bursts of fire, good pilots did not waste ammunition.
In these fantasy flight sims, the human player scores a hit kill with every attack while the AI flies around randomly for target practice. Why are these bf-109s not getting on the Spit's tail? Why are they flying around in no discernible formation? I mean, at 8:33 the bf-109 that was momentarily on the Spit's tail just dives into the sea for no good reason. It's good clean fantasy fun, but let's not pretend that it's anything like real battle simulation.
Looking at the tail fin it must be a Mk iiiv or Mk xii . A real action on the 25/5/43 when four Mk xii's shot down five Fw 190's for no loss , off Folkstone Kent.
A little history on the 303 Pols Squadron . They had a lot more kills than the Brits for the size of their group compared to other British Sqadrons of the same size they also received many medals for their gallantry . After the war was over they told the Pols well were done with you pretty much GTFO and go back to Poland . Poland was torn to pieces there was not much left to go back to. Also after the war they had a Victory Parade and the Pols where not invited because Churchill did not want to offend the Russians . One woman that was the daughter of one of the pilots from the 303 said it broke her dads heart . The 303 was some bad ass mofos they just wanted to kill Germans because of what they did to their country . Not down playing the Brits they are some bad ass's too and very tough

I suggest you make the Spitfire more graphically correct. There is only a single air scoop located under the starboard wing. Not 2 as in the first part of the cgi and not 1 midship as shown later.

Not so unrealistic, one lone Spitfire pilot shot down 4 and damaged a 5th Fw 190, then shot down another and damaged another Luftwaffe aircraft in a short time.
So this is Spitfire # 3 ( 3rd build ) 109s were only there to protect bombers , why are there no bombers in this vid ? Actually by the time block 3 were built Battle of Britian was over . Very unrealistic vid .
take your "level of experience" off "easy" or "don't hurt me" and see how you would do. Your tactics are suicidal down low. No way a spit can win against 4 109's. Other than that, love your channel.
Yeah, the fact that he was flying straight and level while these 109s fired their cannons wildly past him really shows what skill level the ai were. Try this against humans and you'd be dead in 2 seconds.
If it is based on real facts...polish pilot of 303 Division shot 4 Bf109 (the tails were without girders?) than it is fine. Polish pilots were the most experienced in the world during this time..had to struggle with Germans in Poland, then France, now UK...German fiigters could be good...had always better machines...now the Polish pilot got even better plane...so the results could be like this. The 303 Squadron used first the Hurricanes..but there were many other Polish Squadrons..in general 12 000 polish airmen (with all auxiliary service) were engaged in the UK. Polish Govenrment had to pay it with gold...as British said "this was your business, you were fighting against Germans for your country". So Churchill send an invoice for every bullet shot by e.g. this Spitfire.

Been flying IL-2 for years. What experience level is AI set to? Germans seem passive. Are you using realistic damage and gunnery? Nice visuals.

Nice editing. Prop hanging with the 109 on tail is an instant death. The Polish pilot was lucky to fight much worse pilots in those 109s ;)

Pure fighter on fighter dogfights did happen.sometimes they were the only action of the day.
Problem is, IL-2 used a mid-1944 Spitfire and a late-1944 Bf109 (painted in 1940 colours) in a mid-1940 scenario, so none of this makes sense...

I suggest you make the Spitfire more graphically correct. There is only a single air scoop located under the starboard wing. Not 2 as in the first part of the cgi and not 1 midship as shown later.
Against BOS AI is is hardly difficult to get 4 kills
So, what's your point? Couldn't you just enjoy a well made, entertaining video which takes a great deal of effort on the part of TJ3 Gaming to produce and no effort on your part to make a snarky remark? Why not, instead, just say, "Thank you."?

Excellent reproduction, but both the scenario (lone Spitfire on patrol) and outcome (4:0 kill ratio against Me 109's) are highly unrealistic!
Not so unrealistic, one lone Spitfire pilot shot down 4 and damaged a 5th Fw 190, then shot down another and damaged another Luftwaffe aircraft in a short time.

109s were only there to protect bombers , why are there no bombers in this vid ?
Actually by the time block 3 were built Battle of Britian was over .

take your "level of experience" off "easy" or "don't hurt me" and see how you would do. Your tactics are suicidal down low. No way a spit can win against 4 109's. Other than that, love your channel.
Yeah, the fact that he was flying straight and level while these 109s fired their cannons wildly past him really shows what skill level the ai were. Try this against humans and you'd be dead in 2 seconds.
If it is based on real facts...polish pilot of 303 Division shot 4 Bf109 (the tails were without girders?) than it is fine. Polish pilots were the most experienced in the world during this time..had to struggle with Germans in Poland, then France, now UK...German fiigters could be good...had always better machines...now the Polish pilot got even better plane...so the results could be like this. The 303 Squadron used first the Hurricanes..but there were many other Polish Squadrons..in general 12 000 polish airmen (with all auxiliary service) were engaged in the UK. Polish Govenrment had to pay it with gold...as British said "this was your business, you were fighting against Germans for your country". So Churchill send an invoice for every bullet shot by e.g. this Spitfire.
