I got a nice PS2 slim for my bday and I just bought a mint copy of this game from a bargain market. I'm at 34% completion within 3 days and damn, am I on a nostalgia trip. This game holds up after all these years. No NFS game has touched this one since.

Me with my WRX were INSEPARABLE. Haven't got NFSU2 anymore since the disc is scratched up, which is pretty sad. The closest I can get is driving my actual WRX with this OST in the back

Not really. Your image of "old" NFS is incorrect. The first 6 Need For Speed games featured luxury cars only. The fifth game had only Porsches. NFS Underground, the seventh game of the series, was the first to feature normal cars.

None of the fun stuff like this anymore. Seriously, no wonder less people are playing the new NFS games

Not really. Your image of "old" NFS is incorrect. The first 6 Need For Speed games featured luxury cars only. The fifth game had only Porsches.
NFS Underground, the seventh game of the series, was the first to feature normal cars.
