- Опубліковано 7 лис 2019
- This is the 7-month update concerning my recovery after receiving stem cell treatment (HSCT) for multiple sclerosis in Russia. I have primary progressive multiple sclerosis and this was pretty much my only option. Check out my update here from my 6.5-month MRI back in Russia.
Great news, very happy for you. Hope it continues 🤞
Thanks.
I'm getting HSCT in 4 months. PPMS edss 3.5 ish
Hey JP, I've got PPMS too and I'm debating whether to get HSCT. How are you doing now? Still stable/ no progression?
Hi there. Sorry for delay, haven't switched to this account for ages. I'm doing an update video today. All good here and stable!
Oh, and do it!
Hi, how you are doing today? I have ppms to. Maybe I m going for stemmcelltreatment in Moscow.
I would highly recommend it. I am still doing well and am definitely now worse than before my treatment, which points to stabilisation.
@@jpslifewithmultiplescleros1000 Hi, I' m very glad to read your answer. Stability is a very good result. I' happy for you and wish that this will last. I was unsure to reach for aHSCT because all the neurologists here in Germany I asked said to me that there is no evidence that aHSCT could help me because I do Not have inflammation only degeneration.
@@theadoro585 I think that's a common responses form neuros, especially if they have little knowledge of the procedure.
@@jpslifewithmultiplescleros1000 to bad, that because of Covid-Problem it seems impossible to travel to Moscow. So the end of this week I" m getting Mitoxantrone as a Infusion. I have to do something cause my PPMS is progressing very fast. If I m lucky I stopps the worsening until boarders a open and HSCT is in reach. Your are an uplifting example, your experience in HSCT and PPMS gives hope. Thanks for shareing this with us .😊
JP's Life With Multiple Sclerosis - PPMS worse than before?

Hi there Gary. Sorry, missed this. I am doing really well. All stabilised still. i would highly recommend it.
@@jpslifewithmultiplescleros1000 glad to hear that where did you have your treatment and what was the cost there
@@garybroaddus1847 Russia (Moscow) - about £38,000 or so all in
Hey jp how are you doing??
Hey there, Sorry, missed this. I am doing really well. All stabilised still. I worry because my symptoms get worse in the summer and I worry this is treatment not working, but this is a common worry for post-hscters.
@@jpslifewithmultiplescleros1000 Hi, when temperatures rise in summer above 25 degrees over a few days my symptomes really worsen like it would be a relaps though I never had one. But I get better when it s colder again.
