Hi! We're Jose and Smile. We are Filipino-Americans living in California, USA. Like most of you, we try to find ways to create enjoyable moments to break the daily routines and stresses of life. Whether it be simple activities at home, random dates, trips, or watching our favourite artists… we want to capture them as vlogs or chika chats (story time) to share with you, our family and friends. May we all be inspired to create beautiful moments in our daily lives. God bless us all!💕

same same we cant unhear the GANDA SI CHONA VERSION😂😂😂
😅 especially since I've heard that before this 😆
Alak akala is already very indicative of what they mean, I think. We just think our problems disappear when we drink but they don’t. I actually love this song. It’s so boozy feeling-wise and yet it reminds me not to be fooled 😊 Another PABLO wonder ❤
Sometimes I wanna ask what inspired him/them to write songs like this because I feel like there's a back story full of life lessons.☺️
@@TheFil-AmCam I can tell you personally watching my own family members drown themselves in sorrow with a bottle including my own mom. In the end who wins but the booze.🤷♀️🥺
@@saiyongdawn7756 🥺 Hopefully your mom is better now.🙏🏽 We learn from our experiences and from stories of other people
Yes ma'am it is.. "🎶Ganda c chona.. gnda c chona!🎶"😂🤭😬✌️🥰💙
😅😂🤣
And the juice, juice jusko po..another meaning pertaining to God..he said, di ko na malaman ang gusto Nyo,gusto ko lang subukan na maging ako. 😉🤩
I like how they always try to include God in their songs' messages.☺️🙏🏽💙
Haha this is exactly where that Ganda si Chona melody came from 😂😂😂
It's undeniable...😅😆
as a bicolano who became an adult in metro manila, my first time to hear the word "walwal" was it referring to being drunk to oblivion.
This is the first time we heard that word.😅 Thank you for the info.☺️👍🏼
I love you guys you are truly a certified A’TIN because you remember quickly that bardagulan vlog they did way way back ago between Stell / Ken to Pablo rapping Taray si Chona 😅 that was so funny moments I love it ❤❤❤
Thank you love your reaction and appreciation with PABLOXJOSUE masterpiece AKALA. deep deep song 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🔥
Aww, thank you for your kind words. We love SB19 and enjoy seeing them having fun and teasing each other. Ganda si Chona is a classic.😅😂🤣
@@TheFil-AmCam true very classic. Their kulitan moments just having fun with each others company is our happiness ☺️
@@chemariahc6080 Yes, I always say their talent caught my attention but their personalities caught my heart.💙 I became an A'Tin because they're makulit and masaya (like us!😅😂)
@@TheFil-AmCam very true po ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
@@chemariahc6080 ☺️💙
Thank you for your positive reaçtion to #PABLOxJOSUE's #AKALA. It means that they have tasted liqour, but it didn't satisfy them, their problems are still there. Therefore, it is NOT the answer to any problems. God is the only solution to all problem. You pray and God will help you in solving your problems. God bless you more.❤️❤️❤️
Agree, alcohol is not the answer to life problems.☺️ God bless you too!🙏🏽💙
wal wal means getting drunk LOL
😅 Thank you for the info 😁👍🏼
AKALA is unreleased song of Pablo since 2020 i guess. Naperform na rin ni Pablo at Ken to nung virtual/concert nila. Then dinogshow ni Stell by saying Ganda ni Chona.
😅 For me, the first version I heard was Ganda si Chona so now this will always be a mash-up in my head. 😆😂
Can’t unhear it anymore hahaha ganda ni chona!!!! 😂😂😂😂
😅 We're all in this chant together!😆😂
I always love your reaction to SB19, btw I think you have’nt react to JUSTIN’s SUNDAY MORNING video.
Thank you for joining us!💙 We actually watched Justin's Sunday Morning after this, just finishing the edits and will post soon. ☺️
Hello po can you react also to Determinado thank you for supporting mahalima💙💙💙
This! Released middle of January 2024, before Akala.
Thank you for your recommendation ☺️💙
Walwal means to get completely wasted. Getting drunk until you’re “WALang-WALa na”.
Ahhh... That makes more sense than WALdas.😅😂 Thank you 😁
❤
☺️💙
Thank you po 😘😘😘
Thank you too ☺️💙
walwal is drink hard, hangggang magsawa
😅 Thank you for the info 😁👍🏼
My Uni friends use the word walwal whenever they had drinking session. "Nag walwal nanaman kayo kagabi"
Pablo's song writing teaches us deep Filipino words and Filipino slang. I love it!😄
I like this song because it’s relatable …I agree, drinking alcohol doesn’t solve problems…actually, I have adverse effects when I drink alcoholic drinks…I start to have clogged nose with sneezing episodes…thanks for this RV…i enjoyed watching you react, as always 😊
Thank you for joining us again!💙 We like to occasionally drink and I agree, it doesn't solve problems.😆 Too bad you have alcohol allergies. Stay safe!☺️🙏🏽
So it just goes to show that this is really an old unreleased song before. I first heard Stell's own short rendition of the chorus with his own lyrics before I heard the actual song. So I had the same reaction of recalling the chant 'ganda ni Chona' and Pablo's bored look.
I liked the singing parts of Pablo in this song. Can't do the rap parts. Beyond my capabilities. 😅
Same, I heard Ganda si Chona before this so it will forever be a mash-up in my head.😅😆
I read in a news article that Josue originally wrote the lyrics, so it reflects his perspective on drinking. Pablo came in and he added his perspective. So it’s very much a collab that reflects their opposite views. Don’t quote me on this kasi i haven’t verified. Though INQ or GMA (sorry I can’t remember) yung article.
I see, that's why the first and second verse talk about drinking differently.☺️👍🏼
Right? We cannot unhear it! 😂.. Thanks for a great reaction video , my fav couple! ❤
Aww, thank you for your kind words!😘 Is it bad that I enjoy singing the Ate Chona version more? 😅🤣
Walwal means going to the extent that you can give.
Others said it means super drunk 😁
juice = Diyos. that is my interpretation. “di inakala, mawawala ang bahala. buti pa rito may tama. pare buhos mo, yung juice lang.” initially he thought he needed alcohol but he went for juice instead
I like that... Alak is not the answer, it's always God.☺️🙏🏽💙
Thanks The fil-am Cam. I ❤the theme to this. Beautifully written by the RadKidz. Hopefully you get to React to Felip's collab with Playertwo 'Flyyy' and 'Pagdali'. Warning, there's a few slang words in 'Flyyy'. 🙂
Thank you for joining us, and thank you for your recommendations.☺️💙
Thanks.pls continue yoyr reaction❤your new sub here
Hello!👋🏼 Thank you for joining us.☺️💙
"Ganda si Chona" is actually from "Akala". Stell was just messing with Pablo lol, because in that video, they were practicing for "Akala" for their concert. Ken and Pablo performed it in their global concert. There's a video of their performance somewhere in UA-cam.
---Walwal is like getting drunk like there's no tomorrow.
--- The live performances of this song, Pablo and Josue/Ken added to the last part. They never put out the lyrics for it so I can't say it all. But in that, they said something like, mapapahamak ka sa "maling akala". I really wished they put that last bit in the visualizer because that will make this song 💯 not about just drinking. I have heard so many reactors, mostly foreign ones, who misinterpreted this song as an ode to alcohol. It irks me that the English captions didn't give it justice. I know Pinuno will never make a song to encourage drinking. So much loss in translation 😢
Had they added the last part, misinterpretations might be lessened. You'll hear the last bit in their concert and in their Wish Bus performance of this song.
--- Look at the bottles closely... the label says "100% Juice". The juice in this song means more than the sugary drink. It is a wordplay of Diyos. Pablo is basically crying out to God that He is the only answer.
Wow, thank you for those details! That makes more sense for them to write a song about how God is the only help/answer and not drinking. I didn't catch the 100% juice on the video because it's so dark.😅 We'll check out the performance with the "maling akala" you mentioned. Thank you!💙🙏🏽
@@TheFil-AmCam Ken and Pablo cover of Akala. Just search on UA-cam. It's a dramatic song.
@@tashacarmelo2607 Thank you!☺️ I've been looking for "Pablo Ken Akala" on UA-cam and so far I can't find it yet.😅 I'll put the link here once I find it for others who might want to watch it too.☺️
I've watched all the RVs of non-Filipino reactors and they got the message by the end of the video. They understood that the song is a conversation between two people with different POVs re drinking to forget a problem. I was surprised at the one who said it was an ode to alcohol when the CC of the refrain, when read as a whole stanza, clearly states the sentiment that 'I thought that drinking alcohol would make my problem go away '. I dunno but I think that part went over his head as he focused on the word 'alcohol' and the shots of alcohol on the visualizer.
@TDLTDL100 true. There is this one particular reactor that said it's an ode to alcohol and that the way the two were singing "alak, akala...." is like they were singing to the alcohol like a love song. I was like whattttt??? And to think that reactor is a fan of the group and even saw the boys twice in their US concerts. Like how does he think Pablo would ever make a song that encourages alcoholism.. like nah bruh.
Walwal is a slang word for get wasted, and shaaat is the sound when someone is so wasted ,so instead of saying shot it will be shaaat 😂😂😂😂😂😂, it's actually base of my experience while my friend get wasted😂😂😂 . I don't drink alcohol
😅 Thanks for the info and the warning.😂😆
Enjoyed your rv. Thanks. Would you also like to react to Josue's song called Malandi?
Thank you for joining us!💙 And thank you for your recommendation.☺️
Walwal is a street word for paglalasing. Correct me if I'm wrong A'Tin 😅
That's what others said too. So I was wrong, it's not from WALdas pala.😅😆
Shat could be a double meaning too. Shat is taking a shot but shat is also slang for "sh*t" which is a curse word so it could be a curse too at what leads folks to drinking. Just my opinion.
That actually makes sense 🤔👍🏼
Yep, same thought here - double meaning. Shat is the past tense for sh*t. Maybe also to make it more relatable to Filipinos, they spelled 'shot" in the way that a lot of Filipinos pronounce it - shat.
I remember that in the Bazinga portion of their AAA perf, the displayed word was 'Sike!' instead of the actual spelling (also in the CC of the MV) - 'psyche!'.
@@TDLTDL100 I did not even see the displayed word during AAA as I was just watching the boys.😄
@TheFil-AmCam If you watched the AAA official upload, you won't see it because the cam focused only on the performers., cutting off the video / graphics above them. But if you watched the Weverse one (the livestream version), the camera showed a faraway shot of the whole stage first (showing the video display above the performers) before zooming in on the boys. :)
@@TDLTDL100 Thanks! I'll look at it.☺️
Walwal is inum
😅😁👍🏼
