The authors made more efforts in the SNES version. They added stages, bosses and a Versus mode (with a code to play as the bosses). I had hours of fun playing it with my best friend. It was the second game we played most (the first one was Mario Kart 64).
No. I meant such Turtles In Time, before Tournament Fighters was even out. I read the code once on a videogame magazine, but I forgot it now. It was sort of like the konami code. Maybe such the konami code but I'm not sure. You'd better ask Google.
Indeed, while the Arcade version has better graphics, more voice samples, smoother animation and a decent soundtrack. The SNES version had better level design, an extra stage, better boss fights (I'll take Slash over the Mudman at the end of Prehistoric Turtlesaurus any day of the week) and in many cases the soundtrack was better than the arcade.
HypercatZ they added one stage, not “stages”. 1 new level, technodrome. A few new bosses/different bosses. Unfortunately that’s it. Sewer Surfin and Neon Night Riders were cut down into short/weak bonus stages, all the voice is gone, 4 player is gone, graphics and animation downgrade... It’s a good port considering the hardware, but make no mistake the arcade is a much more impressive game, as you’d expect.

The people of Konami used recordings of the voices of Dan Castellaneta (Homer), Julie Cavner (Marge), Nancy Cartwright (Bart) and Yeardley Smith (Lisa) for The Simpsons arcade came, so why couldn't the designers also do the same of using recordings of the voices of the cast of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987 animated series too? That's what I would've done if I were in the designers' shoes.

The "stupid emulator" is basically the same thing as the real arcade machine. Besides, the title says "netplay" since this was played online, which you can't do with a real arcade machine. Also, you can't get as good picture quality using a supergun on a real machine, and you only need to look at one of those -Not MAME- videos to see that.

Jose Figueroa I think I only played through the Mutant Nightmare version once. I can't say I remember much about the music, but I probably would have agreed with you that some of the tracks are good. Despite that, it's still not the game as it was originally released. My problem with the port has more to do with it running in 30 fps instead of the original 60 than any changed music or voice acting.
arronmunroe yea your right about the voice acting it is crap i played the original turtles in time at the arcades when it was still there but then they took it out smh the one from mutant nightmare is as close as it gets to the arcade port because i refuse to play it on a mame emulator on my phone lol
They shouldn't have tampered with a great game, now it's ruined. Hopefully some mods the Snes version to be four players. But the arcade soundtrack and the levels make me depressed.
hello arron how are you i have need of your help again because strangely the mame that you suggest me to use time ago the mame 0.134++ it's gone from my folder precisely the icon that run the emulator it's no more present so i can't play with it the download link that you had write here it's still present but i have try to download it and when i click on it the mame can not be open i search for this emulator but it nowhere can find i ask myself if it can be still used for play it was a good emulator and i would have it again however in all this fact the thing more absurd it's how it can be gone the file not disappear unless you cancel them from your folders
i find and download the emulator but a message of warning appears on my screen just like the other it says that open it can be dangerous for my pc at this point i don't what to do sincerely obviously i can not take risk however as i already say to you i think that it's strange that an emulator disappear suddenly how it can be possible never before of now and i have try many emulators
precisely appear a box that i can only close nothing else i'm sorry because i have set many games in these years but patience i will use another emulator it's the only way i can use too the latest versions now it's only that emulator like very much what can i say it's sure that who make it don't make it with care
I think that your expectations are too high. This is just a casual 4 player game played for fun. I'm not trying to show how skilled we are at the game.
Every damned video someone makes of a game there is always that one or many people who just claim that you suck and they are so much better. Even when you specify it in the description, it just never fails...
I wouldn't say it's that hard, but it depends on how familiar you are with MAME and emulators in general. I would still suggest checking a guide before trying it out.
I've heard this issue with the video mentioned already. I can only speak for myself, but I think you would have to know the bosses very well to actually be able to get many hits on them in addition to not getting hit very much. I personally think if I had tried to be more strategic with what little I know of the boss patterns, the bosses would have taken longer and I still would have gotten hit as many times. This kind of thing takes very serious practice and even if I did take the time to practice myself, that wouldn't apply to the other players, so that would only make 1/4 difference anyways.
Marcel Weber I mostly agree with you. However, it still is possible to beat this game on a single life with enough skill and a ton of knowledge about this game. This is not a game I would even think of attempting that with, though.
arronmunroe It's possible, but it's just a chore to do, exploiting the broken combat with the same movements all the time... It will never be as fun as 1ccing actual skill-based games like Final Fight or Cadillacs & Dinosaurs.
Marcel Weber I think I have an idea what you're talking about, but I would still consider certain things in Final Fight to be cheap, such as Abigail's super grab. While I would consider Final Fight to be more worth beating on 1 credit (as opposed to no death at all) than Ninja Turtles, I would rather stay away from trying to master arcade beat em ups, since it still would take more time and effort than I'm willing to put in.
If you just want to play 2 player, it's as simple as hitting the credit button for second player (6 by default) and then hitting the attack button (A by default). Of course, to play with gamepads or changing the controls, there is a little more involved. Basically, playing 2 player on the emulator is just as easy as 1 player.
Whoever played as Donatello had the right idea when he gave himself 70+ lives.
I like how Shredder threw off his cape like M. Bison in Street Fighter II! A last boss doing that, you know he means business!

hello arron how are you i have need of your help again because strangely the mame that you suggest me to use time ago the mame 0.134++ it's gone from my folder precisely the icon that run the emulator it's no more present so i can't play with it the download link that you had write here it's still present but i have try to download it and when i click on it the mame can not be open i search for this emulator but it nowhere can find i ask myself if it can be still used for play it was a good emulator and i would have it again however in all this fact the thing more absurd it's how it can be gone the file not disappear unless you cancel them from your folders
I believe you can find 0.134 if you search for "Zophar MAME Plus! Plus Kaillera".
i find and download the emulator but a message of warning appears on my screen just like the other it says that open it can be dangerous for my pc at this point i don't what to do sincerely obviously i can not take risk however as i already say to you i think that it's strange that an emulator disappear suddenly how it can be possible never before of now and i have try many emulators
precisely appear a box that i can only close nothing else i'm sorry because i have set many games in these years but patience i will use another emulator it's the only way i can use too the latest versions now it's only that emulator like very much what can i say it's sure that who make it don't make it with care
i only hope that the others not disappear like that one day
thanks anyway for your help
it evil shredder of the metal slug game
***** I agree. Just give me a controller, & I'll show them how it's played.
I think that your expectations are too high. This is just a casual 4 player game played for fun. I'm not trying to show how skilled we are at the game.
Every damned video someone makes of a game there is always that one or many people who just claim that you suck and they are so much better. Even when you specify it in the description, it just never fails...
How You Add Lives(Credits) In Beginning?
Press the emulator's credit button.
@@arronmunroe with what button(srry if im disturbing u with questions)
@@arronmunroe with keyboard what button do u press?
By default, the key is 5, but this can be changed if you press the tab key and go into input (this game).
@@arronmunroe Just one question srry for disturbing, which is the best arcade emulator 'mame' or other emulators?
Is it complicated to setup Netplay for MAME?
I wouldn't say it's that hard, but it depends on how familiar you are with MAME and emulators in general. I would still suggest checking a guide before trying it out.

could you possibly upload this in 1080p60?
It's not the exact same footage, but I already made a 1080p60 video of this game.
hey, sorry about that. I noticed there was a more recent playthrough immediately after posting that comment. xD
Thanks for all your work

How do you do this?
bad players , set them infinite lives
hey the ninja turtles fight with super krang in 2020 , ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡
Don't you guys know any other boss tactic rather than just trading hits with the bosses
This game was never skill-based, it's very cheap and the combat is very bland, it's more fun as a mindless quarter muncher party game.
Turtle Time
On SNES you had to go through a whole levwel at the technodrome & fight Shredder
how do you 2 player on emulate?
If you just want to play 2 player, it's as simple as hitting the credit button for second player (6 by default) and then hitting the attack button (A by default). Of course, to play with gamepads or changing the controls, there is a little more involved. Basically, playing 2 player on the emulator is just as easy as 1 player.
ah
lol nothing happened mine must suck
bloody cactus I have no idea which version of MAME you're using, assuming you're even using MAME.
