ngl everyone including myself thought tannehil was starting to get washed after last week and season but against a good opponent he made the plays he needed. Some good deep balls, clutch completions, and didn't turn the ball over. He needed this bounce back
No not everyone thought that. There is just a bunch of fair weather titans fans you included. That’s why half the people at a titans home game are wearing the opposing teams jersey and we can’t fill up our stands. People think replacing the qb would fix our problems when it’s been the Oline and play calling for years. Also we finally utilized tannehills strengths yesterday. He isn’t a pocket qb. He does his best when mixing in runs, rolls out, or goes off the play action. If we use him strictly as a pocket passer like we did last weekend and last season then he doesn’t play as well and leads to interceptions.
Chargers defense is garbage. We saw what happens when an elite defense is on the field.
Chargers defense just makes him look like Brady.

The problem is not Herbert he has the offense ranked top 10 every year, but coach Staley who’s a defensive coach has had the defense ranked bottom 3 every year we need at least a middle of the pack defense

Well it's to early to tell you see this is the pre-season for most NFL teams. They need to get used to the speed of the game and all movement. So we will get a better picture of teams after first 4 to 5 games. You can see already some coaches like Mike McDaniel of the Dolphins are making brilliant adjustment with the talent they have. While other teams are coaches are struggling to come with answer to the problems they got.
We should have kept The fullback that we drafted last year we were good when we had Lorenzo Neal blocking for LT back in the day.

После week 1 было интересно, какую игру выдаст Tannehill (QB). Он не подвел, это было приятно видеть. Отличные deep pass. Атака Titans работала исправно - пас и rush.
Защита тоже внесла весомый вклад - эффективное давление на QB от D-Line Titans.
Не было сомнений в эффективности атаки Charges, но были сомнения в качестве игры персонала защиты.
В итоге в атаке только пас, Herbert (QB) элитный игрок - видит поле, находит решения, сохраняет спокойствие, уверенная рука. Но в атаке не работал rush.
Сомнения по персоналу защиты подтвердились - слабая игра против паса. D-Line часто играла эффективно в давление против QB соперника.
TEN gets their first win of the season in possibly the 2nd best game of the day. Tanninghill was good despite getting sacked 5 times. The AFC South is still their for the taking and I expect a close race with JAX. Congrats on the win TEN 👍.
3 of those sacks should have been scrambles/throwing the ball away.

Chargers have had wayyyyy to good of a roster for years now to not have been making deep playoff runs, but instead choke game after game after game away year after year.
It won't change until Spano's sells the team. Same with the Angels and that idiot Moreno. They have had two of the top 5 players in the league for 6 years and havent even sniffed the playoffs. Both are losing cultures that need a change from the top down.

-Week 18 2022: played starters for no reason, then choked and lost by 3 to the mid Broncos
-Wild Card 2022: had a 27 pt lead then pulled one of the worst choke jobs in NFL history, lost by 1 to the Jaguars
-Week 1 2023: did not play defense, made Tua+Tyreek look insane, gagged and lost by 2 to the Dolphins
-Week 2 2023: choked and gagged in overtime, lost by 3 to the mid Titans
That's 4 straight inexcusable losses in 4 games, sounds the same old Chargers to me. Brandon Staley is NOT IT unfortunately...

For a long time, Titans fans get a sick feeling every time the FG unit took the field. And with good reason. Titans have had a dozen or so kickers, all of which could better serve the team working a concession stand. But NOW they finally have a real kicker with Nick. Two week MVP for sure. Props to Tannehill for returning to form this week. He's one tough QB !
The O line is still a bit suspect but we pulled out the win. Everyone knocks Tannehill and some of the criticism is deserved but when he’s on, his throws are almost perfectly accurate. My biggest issue with him has always been that I think he holds the ball too long at times. Good win today though fellas. #TITANUP

Normally, I don't go and say 'the better team won' in these tight games but honestly, the better team did win.
Outside of that, the Titans offense looked WAY better today. No mistakes and just solid plays made. That wins most games. But the defense was clutch in those final 2 drives. Well done. #titanup

It always comes down to the wire. The pass defense on that game tying drive sending it to overtime was non existent. It was like taking candy from a baby. We had the worst pass defense in the NFL last year and it doesn't look much better this year.
