Tierbeobachtungen an verschiedenen Wasserlöchern im Etosha, Oktober 2015.
Es war sehr heiss und staubig und die Lichtverhältnisse leider nicht immer optimal.

Beautiful video ! I was in Namibia two weeks ago.... So wonderful experience. We want to go back to Etosha !

@ Sylvie Raynaud Thank you for the positive feedback. October is a good month for animals, it is the end of the dry season and therefore animals have to come to the waterholes.

+Martin Kapfhammer Danke für das positive Feedback. Wir fuhren zu sechst drei Wochen durch Namibia und verbrachten insgesamt 5 Nächte im Etosha NP.

Wunderschön!! Wir sind dieses Jahr Ende Dezember im Etosha und machen uns sorgen dass wir aufgrund der Regenzeit nicht so viele Tiere sehen werden. Wie sind denn deine Erfahrungen im Dezember?

Hallo Walter. Danke für deine positive Bewertung. Entscheidend ist die Regenmenge zu Beginn der Regenzeit (Nov./Dez.). Je weniger Regen, umso mehr Tiere sind an den Wasserlöchern, und umgekehrt. Wir waren die letzten vier Jahre jeweils im Januar in Namibia und im Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Die Sichtungen waren stark abhängig von der Regenmenge. Trotzdem waren wir noch nie enttäuscht während dieser Jahreszeit. Viel Glück und gute Tiersichtungen im Etosha !!!

I've spent two delightful weekends at Etosha. The park is very large - 100km X 80km (of that magnitude anyway) You could easily spend a week going from one lodge to another until you had seen most of it. I still have very fond memories of dining in the evening in open air, with excellent company, sipping delightful South African wine and enjoying the view of animals coming to drink at the floodlit waterhole.
It doesn't get any better!
