I’ve ALWAYS wanted this cat in my humble opinion the W220 is 2nd in best design next to its predecessor.
I often think of buying one but don’t want to look like a “rich poser”. That’s not the case I just honestly love the art and appreciate the beauty of the car.
And I also am concerned about the maintenance cost but my 2011 Lexus LS 460L probably is in the same class as cost for repair I would have paid $1150 for an O2 sensor but only paid $253 for it because the mechanic quoted $253 by mistake and they’re honest and stood by their word.

I see the silver ML- what has your experience been with those? I hear the 2010-2015 are very reliable and bullet proof. Anything older and you will be dealing with the expensive balance shaft and differential issues.
I appreciate your observation. But it’s a GL550. The ML is a stable of Mercedes. They had some difficult years. 10-15 are the better years.

😂😂😂😂😂😂The S55 is such a great car. Gotta get this one running again. That’s crazy how you almost had the CL600. It’s a gem. Needs a new water pump I believe….the pulley rattles. Don’t know if that can be repaired without pump replacement.

@@goldelementautoworks about to get mine a new Interstate battery today. Something was wrong with the bose amplifier so im just upgrading with new amplifiers and a head unit.
