Wow, I just finished this project. You've really outdone yourself and will be hard-pressed to create something more beautiful than this! I spent just as much time unraveling because I'd skip a bead somewhere, so it took me about 33 hours. Wish I could charge for my mistakes but that's on me :-{ I think I'll make a bracelet to match when I've worked up the courage again! Thank you!

Hi. This necklace looks awesome!! I really have no idea what length of thread to use...Do you think 3 yards is too long?
You will need alot of thread for this project, I would not recommend using one long piece because your thread will start to break down and you run the risk of your thread breaking. I would add the thread as needed. I used 1 arms length at a time and added along the way.
Love the colors you used, would you be able to list the colors you used?
Joanne McCormack did you ever find out what the colors were that she used? I love them. I guess she doesn’t want anyone to use her same colors. Bummer!

Britta Lehmkuhl the necklace measures 19 inches so it depends on your size. Example my daughter weighs 100 lbs and it sat just below her collar bone. Someone who is larger it will sit above the collar bone.

I purchased the pattern for Fire and Ice necklace hoping the material list is going to give a detail description of the beads you used. I have to order the beads on line and it is very difficult to determine what colors and shades I need to use to achieve the look of the necklace I love so much. Can you please provide me with a more specific bead list since I have purchased your pattern? I very much appreciate your help. Thanks.

@@vlee234ut I was going to purchase the pdf but if it doesn't list the supplies, I guess not. I guess we're supposed to personalize it by using our own colors. I'm not that gifted 😒

Hi Mary. I too was disappointed by the lack of material list. That was the only reason I bought the PDF. Watching the video I was able to decipher most of the bead colors, so if you would like to I can list what I selected.
Let me know and I will share with you.
It is a beautiful necklace worth making. I have not started on mine yet, but have everything ready, except time. :)
