so honestly, watching your video there was a very vivid Gollum like picture in my head, I was like - hm, I could rob him and have all this pretty stationary for myself... and then you would go to the police and tell them: Help me, all my inks and notebooks are gone! you have to find them.... and the police looking at themselves would be like: okay mister, so all your electronics, jewelry, cars, everything is still there, your pc's... and you totally dissheveled: but my favourite fountain pen! 😅😅😅 sorry for this thought, had to share it though, hope this never happens to you (or me for that matter since I have a stationary room of my own) thank you so much for sharing your collections, I made notes along the way what I need to buy for myself. Also love the more chaotic parts too, finally one tour that doesn't look like it is just a show room but is actually used.
Thanks so much for sharing this! I love not only seeing how you've organized, but also hearing your reasoning, as it helps me to work out the best way to organize my own space!
If you move that bookcase you may be able to get another cart for your current projects and notebooks. It might be better use of the space besides the desk and easy to move to access mics and lights. Do you have enough room to inch over the monitor so the mic is less crowded? Also a cube shelf sitting horizontally on the backside of the desk could be nice to hide cords and add storage. I would also suggest having a bin for things you wouldn't use to make it easy to declutter. If the appreciated but won't use bin fills up then it is time to rehome/giveaway or whatnot. I have all my pens put away, except for my daily/weekly ones, and use a project bin to put the stationery I'm currently using. Not sure if that would work for your brain, but it is an option.
I would recommend getting another bookshelf to help with storage. Thanks for sharing your space. I love seeing how other people organize (organized chaos is a thing)
omg 💛💛 i loved this video so much! i love watching in general how ppl organize stuff, because it’s very telling of how their brain works. the different creative approaches they take on problems r so cool to see. loved the way you go about! i am also a ‘it has to be in sight, otherwise it does not exist’ person, so i’m definitely stealing some ideas from your studio. funnily (frustrating sometimes, is the more accurate word) enough i am also a ‘i cannot have these things in sight when i’m not working on them, otherwise i will get distracted and not do the actual work i was supposed to girlie’. the human complexity is a boon and a curse 😔🫶. anyways loved your videos, definitely sticking around for more! have a great week ❤
Thank you Mark. I am collecting a lot of bullet journals and accessories. It's nice to see your organization and ideas. Also, nice to see how much is in your collection because I feel like a hoarder :)
This was so helpful to see as I will be working on a new office space soon. I loved seeing the layout, the solutions for organization, and your recording tech.
Thanks Mark, your tour gave me great ideas for organizing my small space. I've been journaling for about 2 years now and it is incredible how quickly things accumulate!
Looks great! I have recently been working on going vertical because I have limited space. Question: I am in search of an ink pad for stamps that won't bleed through the A&O paper in my journal. I have some archival ink pads, and they seem OK at first, but over time, they will bleed. It almost looks like an oil stain.
Hey there. Thanks for watching :-) The best ink I have found, and the one i use 99% of the time is VersaFine Ink. It gets all the fine details and doesn't bleed through the paper.
@@markyourpages most welcome. I literally watch your stationary and sleep daily so might as well use all of it. You would have not had to cut your bookshelf to half. Btw that comment was for your wonderful wife
Interesting tour. I notice your screen has lots of fingerprint marks it like all of us have. How about a session on various screen, keyboard etc cleaners or cleaning devices for us? ANN
LOL, that's what I was thinking - definitely a visual organizer! More bee than butterfly, I think, because it's a pretty detailed organizing system. I'm a ladybug (large categories, out of sight) and all my pens/markers are in one bin, hidden in a drawer.
@@madscientistgal But some things he micro organized…and other things he didn’t. So…yeah. I am a total ladybug. I don’t care what medicine is in the medicine bin…i can go through it whenever I’m sick and not think about any of it til then! That said, I’m a total ladybug too. But i tend to organize into when I use things. Coffee & tea loot…above the French press/hot pot.

NO ONE CAN TAKE MY Preeeeties
Mark, I am like you--I need things visible in order to use them! Working on making the visual stuff more eye-pleasing.
Good to know I’m not alone.
The Eric Small stamps are so cute
They are my favorite, hands down. However I just got some Midori Ojisan stamps and they are pretty cool too
Thanks so much for sharing this! I love not only seeing how you've organized, but also hearing your reasoning, as it helps me to work out the best way to organize my own space!
I’ll need to do a new one cause I’ve had to alter things a bit.

I an reusing something we had in the house, not quite a bookcase, but fits books.
“…But Im not gonna do it because I promised you a studio tour.”
Proceeds to redo studio room after filming. 😂
10000000000% correct. The redo was the catalyst to actually record the video. It worked!
@@markyourpages so will we get another updated tour? 👀😁

Thanks for checking it out - and I’ll say I do get distracted sometimes too. It’s a bitter sweet set up

Thanks for checking it out !! Excited for your new space

Wonderful! And yes it is!!!
Thank you Mark, i love your organisation. I've ordered myself a couple of prints from the place you got your octopus, her prints are beautiful.
She’s one of my favorite artists!
LOVED the tour❣ Thanx so much.
A wall spice rack for your inks would open up a huge amount of real estate.
I used to have one, but ran out of space on it.
You have a very cool office space, Mark!
Thanks so much for checking it out
can we get a link for that hanging washi organizer please? I couldnt find it on the extensive list. would love to get one for my own cart!
I got mine from Michael’s
Great video Mark! Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it

You can definitely build a house with this. I mean literally get a home in the same money spent.
I need to live where you live 🏠 💸

That would be an assumption that I know how to do that. 😆
I think you collected stationary supplies for the next few generations 😅 .
Haha! “Be careful with this antique Mildliners this was your great grandpa Mark Your Pages pen”
So…it seems like you’re either a butterfly or a bee (a la Clutterbug)
I like that
