SOMEBODY TAKE ME TO THUNDERCLOUD!!!!!! One of the greatest leadoff ads in 80sCommercialVault history! 10 seconds of concentrated 90s! Plus they're still around in Austin!
The Adventures Of Brisco County, Jr. was one of my fav and underrated shows during that time. I bought the DVD collection back in 2012, dirt cheap at my local Walmart.
"Sister Act 2", I think Whoppi only agreed to star in it if they funded her passion-project at the time, Sarafina! Not unlike how Bill Murray agreed to star in the first Ghostbusters if they'd fund his pet-project, "Razor's Edge". But I agree, the movie is quite forgettable.
In yesterday's volume, we got to see a confident Sega, who was riding high off of their victory over Nintendo the previous holiday. This volume, we get to see Sega starting to flounder, as they were supporting too many consoles at once (Genesis, Sega CD, and Game Gear), and not having a lot of focus. Things were still going good for Sega at this time (their Mortal Kombat outsold the Super Nintendo version because it was uncensored with a code), but the early signs of trouble are starting to show. It would all pretty much start falling apart the following holiday season with the launch of the 32X, which was a bad idea from the word go.
Thunder Cloud Subs-theyre no Subway Sister Act 2-Whoopi is planning a return to this franchise.. The Day My Parents Ran Away-they probably got arrested for child abandonment Prize Fighter-the last second of that ad is nightmare-inducing The X-Files-was a good, yet disturbing, episode Mortal Kombat-SNES version had the blood changed to sweat, and most of the fatalities were removed
