I like how Luna is abit nonchalant about it and tells viewers to make sure they're safe but still wants to keep gaming until management tells her to stop.

But it's really good to know how our lovely goofy vtubers can become serious when it's necessary. I remember seeing a clip about Shiranui Flare few years ago who continued to stream to reassure the lonely people who were probably in panic, while giving instructions to take cover continuously.
What a terrible way to start a year. The worst earthquake I've ever experienced was a 6.9, in the Bay Area back in 1989. A 7.6 would be terrifying. Hopefully there won't be many casualties. I'm really impressed with how calmly and professionally all these Holomems handled this.
I'm so impressed with these girls. A lot of them went over so many different safety tips and advice, stayed in-character while being calm and professional, while also allowing for their own worries to show a little bit, especially with Matsuri wanting to check on her family. They responded to this so well without making a big fuss like a lot of streamers or UA-camrs would have done. I hope each of them are safe! I also understand how Luna still wanted to keep going, even though she sounded worried. I think she knew she was pretty safe and maybe wanted to keep going for those who weren't affected, but I don't know, just a though. I'm glad this compilation exists.

Unfortunately the death toll for the earthquake on January 1st has risen to almost 130 dead. But it could've been worse. It could have been A LOT worse. Especially considering how many people were out partying in large venues when this earthquake hit. In a bit of happier news, there was a 90-year-old woman that survived FIVE DAYS before finally being found and rescued. She's okay now.

It could be an engineering design to minimize the amount of debris from fragile materials.

probably to hear better from the alarm outside
Open windows and doors to provide an escape route if the house looks like it won't survive the earthquake.
