it’s entirely up to you 😊 it serves for the purpose of increasing reader experience, the same reason why some authors dive into more complex directing! not necessary, but could enhance the reader experience for the better!
Personally I commission (professional) artists to create the art. Only downside is that there will be a price tag, of course :) A lot of artists I knew or have commissioned from have gone inactive, but there's plenty in the community so I'm sure you'll find one that fits your style!

I think it is interior and exterior, but other people might interpret int and ext as different things. 😂🤷♀️
