    I really dig that you actually use your bag as intended and it shows character. Very cool video, thanks for sharing.

      You’re welcome and thank you 🙏.
      Yeah, I see a lot of bag reviews on UA-cam are basically unboxing videos because they are reviewing new bags or a bag they used for 1 trip or something. I figured I could give people a unique perspective since I’ve been living out of this thing for a few years now 🤟🏽

    Love the bag. It has characters and charms in its own way. I would eager to have that journey with this small bag. Btw hope you enjoy your days in Malaysia.

    You might still be able to attach something on the bottom of the bag if you use the rear loop (for bike light) and the two hip strap loops.

    • @highonmike
      @highonmike  2 роки тому +1

      Perhaps yea ! I might experiment with that in the future, or sew 2 more straps on the bottom

    Doid you find the back mesh panel got stinky? Some people have said it started smelling.

    • @highonmike
      @highonmike  3 місяці тому

      Nah, those people should probably eat less processed food & meat, thats why they smell - thus the bag getting stinky from their sweat.
      My body doesn’t smell bad anymore since I started eating high raw plant based 🍌🍉🍇🥥🍍🥑🥭

    How do you attach those patches on the bag bro?

      @@highonmike Did you go through all layers of material, or did you somehow manage to only go through just the outershell/material of the bag?
      There are those magentic patch attachments, but they are always out of stock. And I like patches on my bags.

    • @highonmike
      @highonmike  Рік тому +1

      not sure if i trust magnets lol, thats a cool idea though. I sewed through all layers.. I read that sewing patches on can potentially create small holes where water could get in the bag - but I have used my bag in heavy rains many times, with my laptop and phone in my bag - never got wet. The synapse is very durable and water resistant, even with patches :) @@RebeccaSmith77

    did you use travel locks for your bag? I got the same bag and am wondering if I should invest in a few locks for the zippers

    • @highonmike
      @highonmike  Рік тому +1

      If you leave your bag places with valuables inside then yea might be a good idea. I personally use this bag as a day pack as well, so I leave my clothes and stuff at the hotel and bring my valuables with me. I basically always have the bag with me so no need for me to use locks

    A dirty, well worn bag is a bag that's been used.... a lot. And that says something about it's usefulness and it's durability. Thanks for sharing.

    • @highonmike

      I love things that are worn and broken in to be honest. I’ve never been the kind of person to try and keep my shoes clean and all that jazz. I totally agree with you - we are meant to get VALUE from the things that we purchase, and this bag has given me value, and it shows :)

      @highonmike i seen a reviewer say the waterbottle pocket has small holes leading to each of the side pockets? Is this true?

    • @rejdfxvvsd
      @rejdfxvvsd 6 місяців тому

      @@tacticalpencil The only thing separating the water bottle pocket from the two side pockets is an elastic mesh, so yes water could leak from the WB pocket easily into those pockets. There is a more robust layer of water-resistant material separating the waterbottle pocket from the main compartment and the bottom front compartment, but those could also conceivably get wet if your bottle leaked.
