First heard this song between live sets while on a date at Level II in Atlanta back in 95. I immediately zoned out. The venue was tight, my company was impecccably fine and this song took it the evening up another notch. I am so thankful for the beauty that is Jazz music.
This is one of my favorites by the much slept on underrated voices of all times. Patti voice wraps it's arms around me. I feel the tears in her voice (happy & sad) Not only a great singer, by far the most BEAUTIFUL woman ever. Her eyes blow me away.
Alll that beauty, and one of the true "zany" singers who has fun doing what we all dream of. Her eyes are, 100%, the most beautiful of any singer I know of.

Man. There are portions of this version that rival, in my opinion, her '77 version with Dave Grusin. I didn't think that was possible! This version is silky and smooth! Love it!!

"That Secret Place" is just a wonderful album and yes, "That's Enough For Me" does surpass her original recording. Beautiful!
