I'm a big fan of your work! It's inspired me to give it a go myself. I found that the polished edge of the tile would chip when I did it with my angle grinder. I suppose that this is a matter of practice, but it could also be my blade. Very creative. Quick question for you: I have purchased a basin which looks like it’s constructed exactly like this with pieces of tiles glued together and the weight is quite heavy. As i am quite old school and used to one piece molded basins I’m a bit paranoid as to how durable the glue is that’s holding all these tiles together. And essentially the main bowl holding the water has lots of tile joints. Do these hold up well even if the bowl was full of water and in the long run?
Hello dear! Thank you! Yes it is very important the tile joints hold up the water and the sink do not leak. For this there is some process to glue the pieces between themselves. Check some important step: 1) after polishing it is important make a rough surface . In the video I have showed how to do this 2) before glue the tiles you need to eliminate all dust etc 3) to use PU sealant in all corners and tape for drywall with the glue to reinforce the pieces. Wish you to fabricate your sink with your ✋ 🤚

To fix the sink you can use any mount brackets according your preference. In my case I use diamond saw hole diameter 35 mm and the tube with d=33 mm. With the saw I drill a hole on the wall and after put the tube into the wall and fix with mortar or with proper glue for marbles. The reason: is cheaper in 3 times then mountain bracket. About integrity of the sink. The sink from porcelain tiles is like any clay-based ceramic material. If something heavy to drop about there is risk to be broken.
