I’m pretty sure the original uniform was lower waisted, maybe a bit higher than these but still low. They haven’t changed the uniform much since the 60s. Only modernized it. The uniform is iconic and in the smithsonian, so my guess is they don’t want to change it much to they have kept it the same.
High-waisted shorts, jeans, and pants look good on no one. It makes everyone look wide and flat. I cringe every time I see a young girl wearing jeans my mother would have worn in the nineties. It looks awful.
@@crucialtaunt5717 Then the people you specifically seem to be seeing either aren't finding the right fit or aren't wearing them with the right cut of top, because that's the opposite of the effect it has on most.
As a pretty skinny girl with a naturally small ass waist I can say high waisted stuff doesn’t rlly flatter the curves surprisingly

Awe poor Alexandria was so excited to finally have made it that far. Makes me mad they cut her instead of Meredith that kept making tons of mistakes and couldn’t pick up the choreo.

Karla Becerra exactly ! Makes me pissed off . She really tried so hard and has so much heart . Meredith is so annoying with that dumb voice and being so clueless.
The are professionals. I do wish Alexandra made it but she improved but still wasn’t the dcc style. Meredith improved and showed her dedication and Kelly and Judy saw something in her. Even if someone tries out 5 times it doesn’t mean they will make it. She came back better but still never caught the eye of the pros. Meredith did and took corrections and so did lily. They both deserved it as much as any other dcc did

Yo Mama If you keep taking the pills with the hormones in them, and skip the placebo week (which means the pills would last for 3 weeks instead of 4) you would not have a period.

Well considering the uniform has to fit perfectly and she has to feel comfortable in it while performing extreme physical activities. I don't think she minds that the tailor has to do what she has to do to "get it right."
Its just boobs. Doctors squeeze them, too. Tailors need to know your measurements, not your padding, to get clothes to fit properly. I'm kinda surprised they don't tell the girls to wear bras with no padding (or just with a little lining) to fittings.

I think high waisted shorts on them would be nice since they are in style. It would also allow more variation in body types to join DCC. But idk dcc is minda set in their ways
Maybe an in-between like mid-rise that get tailored to each girl's body. I agree more fabric would be cuter, but the high-waisted might be a bit rough on the girls with less natural curve.

Do anyone remember back in 2001 the DCC had gotten new designed uniforms that were supposed to be their new signature look for the millennium, the squad even went on a press tour to promote the uniform that featured silver leather skirts and a blue low plunge sleeveless top, no vest. I remember them going to an event for president Bush around 2001 showing off the uniform. Does anyone know why those were scrapped?

Those shorts sure got tinier over the last 20 years. Wow! They are literally bikini bottoms now, not shorts. How do they keep from getting stains, like grass stains, on them during the game? I never did like white pants or shorts. They get dirty too easily. I wonder how they keep them clean during the entire game.
