ABOUT GOOD GIRLS
When we last saw Beth, she had just shot Rio as he was beating up Agent Turner. Now that he's out of the picture, she's ready to run the game and stay in control. The women take on seemingly innocent jobs - Beth in a stationary store, Ruby in a nail salon and Annie as a valet - each with a special purpose to aid them in their new criminal enterprise. What happens as they expand their operation will have a ripple effect with their families. Meanwhile, Stan's taken a job in security at a strip club and Dean is working sales at a spa company. From Executive Producer Jenna Bans ("Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal") comes the third season of this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little "Thelma & Louise" with a bit of "Breaking Bad." The cast includes Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Isaiah Stannard and Matthew Lillard.

I hate how you people keep shipping these two at this point. They had their cute moments but it's more than clear at this point Rio is mentally abusive towards her and is constantly putting her life at risk. Beth isn't a gangster, even if she thinks she is. She only wants the money and constantly tries to get away from the gang aspect, accept Rio doesn't let her go. I know Beth out herself in the situation, but she didn't understand how bad it was until it was too late.

I feel like this a perfect demonstration of how Beth lets people kind of walkover her and do things for her. For example the hitman wanted her to get a new steak when she was perfectly fine with what she had. But he insisted on fixing it for her, that could have been a learning moment for her, to not accept everything and to ask for what u really wanted. Although what he did was (if even a little) undermine her just like Dean had done for their 20+ years of marriage and how he did earlier this episode when he showed the D.A the books. The difference with Rio is he doesn't undermine her in the fact that he gives her a job and he expects her to do it and even to the point when she arranges things. He doesn't "do" things for her when he knows she can. But Beth I would say doesn't really know how to handle that sense guys are doing things for her and making decisions for her, when she has to make her own is presented with more than she thinks she can handle she snaps, at Rio. Do I realize that their is definitely toxicity with Brio yes, but he also helps her without her knowing. I just want her to come to the conclusion that Rio isn't the root of all her problems that the problems are just the consequence of the lifestyles and she needs to figure it out so Rio doesn't Die. Whether they end up to together is up in the air, though a business partnership of some kind would be intriguing.

This is my biggest problem with Beth. She started printing when she thought he was dead yet she has the audacity to put the blame on his shoulders for all of the things that have gone wrong and it’s just not true, for instance Rio didn’t bring Lucy into the fray by conning her into making a counterfeit plate for them, which was what led Rio to her and she had figured out way too much so she was probably going to talk. I agree that she’s been viewing her most helpful partner as her only problem and she needs to be cured of that mindset where she thinks getting rid of him will fix all of her problems and allow her to have 100% of the reward without any risks. Beth’s her own biggest problem and she needs to start taking some responsibility for her problems instead of resting it all on Rio’s shoulders.

I really thought that I would hate this scene, but BOY AM I SO GLAD BETH HAD DINNER WITH HIM! From the beginning of this show, Beth has always somehow made it seems like she's not wrong, that what she's doing is "okay" because she had to save her family. She always paints Rio as the bad guy because he has killed other people, but the law doesn't work that way! And how naive is she to think that with Rio gone everything would go back to normal? YOU'RE A CRIMINAL TOO BETH! SO THANK YOU FITZ FOR CALLING HER OUT!
It really annoys me how she thinks that when Rio dies she'll take over for him...and that's not how that works.
Preach!! If rio goes down, so does the girls. They’ve done worse things like he has and they keep making excuses to justify their actions. No sweetie - you choose it, you wanted it and now you get to pay the consequences. Getting rid of rio isn’t going to make it easier - only worse cause they won’t have the main guy covering up the damages. 🙃

I just want Rio to get so mad to the point that not even Beth can calm him down. Like I love Beth and Rio but I just feel like she's pushing his limits and luck with him which is what got Lucy killed in the first place.

I hope some of you realize that Brio is problematic. Rio never directly hurt Beth. Sure he almost killed Dean and stole her stuff but never harmed her. Beth SHOT him. He's angry! He's holding on to that. This is not a one off thing. This is his way of dealing with it. He could have killed her even after the baby thing. This is going to be a slow burn, not a reverse harem book. People chill.

I really thought they will end this storyline real quick since it was so dragged out last season. Ugh. This plot needs to end. 🙄😒
To be fair this is still s3 because they had to stop shooting cause of Covid. 1-2 more episodes to go of that and then we're in s4. BUT I do agree this plot is draaaaaaaaaaagged on and I am waiting for it to be over.

Many people may say they don’t like this scene but I think it’s adds character development I love Beth and her character has so many layers this shows you kind of the mind tricks she playing on herself she knows she’s a hypocrite but she wants to do what’s best for her and I think it makes for great television to see this character turn from “I’m doing this for my family” almost into , “yes I’m a bad guy but not as bad as you so I have the moral high ground and I’m trying to convince myself I do” the writers really do a great job with this

I'm so impressed with Andrew as an actor. He really is captivating and it's because he is so subtle. When he was younger, he was a bit self-conscious but all that has gone away and he's really all there in the moment. Hope he has more opportunities to show what he's got.

It’s so sad that season two struck all of the right notes while season 3 has just been a pain and honestly, I feel nothing for the girls anymore because they are at fault for everything and a part of me would like to see them suffer some real consequences for their actions.

I am so sick of this stalemate. It’s like the worst elements of the show are being focused on while they’re specifically suffocating the best, which they know exactly what that is and the fans are salivating to see it again; things need to change soon or they won’t need to worry about season five.
