I've been TH12 for about 2-3 months now, and I feel like TH12 is the point in the game where the players can be a little more intent with their army compositions. For instance, at TH9-TH10, there's a few "cookie-cutter" army compositions like LaLoo, GoWiPe, and mass dragons. Then at TH10-TH11 players start branching out more, using things like GoWiWi, GoHogs, QC, etc...but at TH12 I started noticing myself building my comps with intention. I would think "okay, I have my queen up, so I'll go with 4 max healers for a queen charge, 1 golem and some bowlers for 1 compartment, hogs and miners for another compartment, and I'll load my siege machine with X troops and toss it at this compartment.", whereas at the previous town halls, I would just spam all of my troops out.
I was actively trying to slow my plays down, so that I could have more control over the play., and what I learned was that BK+hogs made for a good teacher in this exercise. I would put my king on funneling a portion of the outer map, and then when defenses would attack him, I would toss some hogs on them, and almost like a king-walk.
Now, most of my enjoyment from the game is coming from actively building different army compositions, and trying them out.

Can you please explain your reasoning behind not completely maxing out th11? Like the cannons n archer towers and traps and mortars etc . Wondering because I’m th11 myself getting ready for th12 thanks man love you
Thanks mate! I usually upgrade once I’m unable to use 2 of the 3 resources. In this case elixir and dark elixir.

Found a base with 1.9 million gold yesterday but I was using a 15 party wizard army for the challenge instead of sneaky goblins so I only got half 😭
