Same here! It does me no good to watch someone with hair completely different than mine. Kristi's review is perfect because I probably have thinner hair than she does!
And don't comb down your hair after adding volume.... Kristi you beautiful weirdo. Add volume then flatten it? You could have 10x more volume if you don't come after crimping.
Yes definitely do that. Hold the hair that you're crimping straight up while crimping and it will give loads more volume. I use a regular crimper and do this and it gives me volume and lasts all day. I love it! 😊
I feel like this is a much healthier option than teasing the crap out of your roots. My mom did this for years when she was young and lost most of her hair. Teasing is so bad for your hair so I’m glad they found a better option!
FR even with the heat, teasing straight up breaks ur hair?! i'm like kristi and also have baby fine hair, so this is def on my list. i feel like if u just use heat protectant and product u should be fine 👀
For ppl that can’t afford it They can use the original crimped and just use it at the roots and it does the same thing me& some friends tried it and it gives you really thick volume and it stays until you wash it, so it doesn’t have to be this exact tool as long as it’s a tight crimper from the early 90’s

Maybe experiment with a little spritz of some texture spray through it once you’re done and see if the volume stays a little fuller for longer. Looks amazing- what a find!
Kristi, we have the same amount (or lack there of) hair and I've been using this for years - I LOOOOVE this tool! Never been able to find a single product or tease my hair in a way that works half as good as this, and it totally lasts!! I’ve been waiting for this since your instagram story!!
It’s great to have silky hair but it also creates little to no natural volume. Love it!! Thanks for the review!!
I just randomly found her channel in my recommendation now i'm obsessed with her videos she's so freaking talented.♥️🍡💗💕🍨🎂🥰💖🍧🍭💘🥳🎡💖🎉✨🎂💞🎠🎠🧁🥰🍓🍓
She is 🥰
And not just talented, but kind🥰
Have you been living under a rock
Welcome!
Kristi is the best person on UA-cam. Idc what her video is even about, I'm watching! Love her so much ❤️
i’m very glad i have curly voluminous hair, cause this looks like a lot of effort and money just for some volume!
Wow! It looks like you have hair extensions for volume. That's awesome!
This is a popular pro hairstylist trick for giving volume to those wedding updos. Glad to it becoming popular, because sometimes clients refuse letting me use this because they think it will harm their hair. Finally!
Didn’t know this existed thank you Kristy , you can do the best videos every time we love you xxxxx
Used to crimp then curl in the early 90s and that have volume. So this makes sense for sure.
I saw the same TikTok and have it in my cart. I have the same hair as you and a ponytail I look bald, it’s so thin! Now you have convinced me to buy it! Thanks and you look great!
Aw your sister❤ you guys have the same smile!
I see the difference. I have a lot of hair but so coarse/thick that it’s weighed down. I wish this wasn’t so pricey. I ❤️❤️❤️ this for you Kristi!!!!
I love Harmony! Her hair tutorials are fantastic!
O M G I need this in my life! My hair is just like yours and I have suffered with it for 40 + years!
YYYYYYYYY? LMAO I love seeing you two together! Love you Kristi ❤
Okay … I saw this a fair while ago on Harmonize Beauty’s you tube channel … thought it was neat but never got around to ordering it. After seeing your review I went ahead and finally ordered … it arrived today and it works sooooooo well! Love it!
