I've literally watched this like a half a dozen times.
She said she not interested in trying to keep up with beauty standards she cant attain, but it does seem a bit hypocritical considering how many serums and creams and tools she used on her face. And how many she claims to have that we haven’t seen.

i love that she’s not afraid of frizz and different textures bc we have a similar curl pattern and i love the fluffy look! the curl community tends to emphasize definition and uniformity but i think this looks just as good!!

I'm only 18 but I love seeing female celebrities still killing it and looking gorgeous as they get older. We have this idea that beauty=looking young so ingrained in society but getting older and wiser is such a gift as well and it's amazing seeing her so confident in her natural ways

,...it shouldn't even be about a version you 'can't keep up with', as that implies that the made-up version is better. I'd say...it's more about how you feel about your natural self...how you take care of yourself...your skin....and less about putting on so much spackle that you no longer look like YOU...less about you treating all the parts of your face as if they are full of things that need 'improving, hiding, covering-up, lightening, darkening, smoothing, lifting' etc.
Women's natural selves are not full of mistakes or ugliness or problems. That's what the 'industry' tells us...brainwashes us...makes us feel bad about ourselves...in order to sell us products....'fixes'.

Bearing in mind her mother is an absolute freaking legend, it is amazing (and extremely cool) that she feels so secure in herself. So many kids of huge stars end up so damaged regarding their self esteem. Nice to see a woman in her 40s feeling good and spreading the love to help others be their best self.

Notice how she is one of the few if not the only one in this series who doesn't talk herself down or apologize for dark circles, spots or wrinkles? Ever since I watched this video and Michelle Phan's video where she talks about face dysphoria I stopped wearing foundation and concealer. It's better for my wallet and my confidence.

Even if you bought cheap versions of these things, you’d still be looking at an expensive and very extensive routine most people do not have the patience to do.

That is what is wrong with our society nowadays, "she is so pretty even without makeup", "I am so ugly without makeup", "she doesn't need foundation"... Nobody needs foundation! We all have pimples, acne scars, red areas for white people, dark spots, etc. We are not dolls, our flaws make us who we are!
Unless somebody has great scars, was burnt, etc. Something really serious that messed somebody's face, nobody need foundation!

If you all could watch this video on the big screen, you would see that she is covered in moles. Miles are age and DNA related. Thus indicating she is much closer to 60, than 50.
