ohno.ohmy. How has it been three years? haha. Anyhoo, I love watching you paint, but it's extra special when it's your followers! I'm sorry that the paper gave you so much trouble! I do love those flat brush strokes. (Eeeee you're so close to 200k! Congratulations in advance!!)
your channel hadnt been showing up on my feed for the longest time, but i am so glad im finally seeing your content and its actually got me painting again! something about your process and the way you speak and care about painting is so inspiring
Sorry, I had a lot of coffee,I’m talking too much, but just wanted to add: when an artist practices every single day, either drawing or painting, quantitatively, eg, ten portraits per day, the work always loosens up and skill level increases exponentially. You have definitely reminded me of this, Arleesha, from your past videos, eg, to draw ten portraits a day for ten days, etc. Thank you.
I haven't painted in a while and this is making me want to try doing speed portraits! There was a time that I requested selfies from my friends on Facebook so that I could sketch them, and I went back to it every so often so it took me over a year to get through them all (there might still be some that I haven't done yet). I got so much better at capturing likenesses from that exercise - somewhere between 50 and 100 sketches of people whose faces are familiar to me - and it felt so good when someone liked my sketch enough to make it their profile pic 😂 Time to do something similar with painting!
Lately I’ve been going through a really rough time emotionally, which leaves me with no energy to draw or paint. Your videos are the closest I can get nowadays to that peace, that closeness, that joy that I miss so much but can’t reach just now. I’m eternally grateful to you for keeping that spark alive in me
Never been so early but I love you your painting you inspire me to hold my brushes again after losing hope in art thank you that's what I have been interested so lately I admire you ur skilled ur voice makes me glad to watch to love ur videos keep up with the good work I have improved
Back to when you painted characters from P&P…would love to see you tackle the Kate Sharma character from second season of Bridgerton. Her face is arresting.
I'd forgotten that I'd participated, lol. @arleebean, these are beautiful, and they have all of the feels. I enjoy watching your process, hearing your thoughts, musings, and opinions. ;) (NocturneDahlia)
Love them all, Kadisha (? Girl in hijab?) portrait is absolutely breathtaking, particularly the expression. You really managed to capture something in her expression.
So endlessly beautiful, thank you so much for painting my partner!
