Great video, interesting topics covering chemistry of farming, engineering of the delivery systems, and that beautiful lake where you live. Keep 'em coming. Don't know the music but I like some of the songs you use. Thank you.
Both interesting and sad about the reliance on these agro monopoly chemicals
What chemicals do you use ? I’m sure glyphosate, glufosinate, and some type of adjuvant? Any specific brands you use?
Just a tip-chemical gloves should only be worn when you are working with the chemicals. Put the gloves on, do your chemical work, rinse and remove. You are touching your face and eyes with your chemical gloves-bad and potentially dangerous habit. Stay Safe! ( I used to work in a chemical plant)
So you're telling us it's potentially harmful to have these chemicals on our face yet we spray this stuff on our crops for human consumption and livestock feed? Lol
I guess these major agro chemical companies have been involved in skewing research
Screw it, I’m gonna start measuring time in Jon Pardi songs.
Why don’t y’all use this sprayer for all your spraying needs? Instead of using the 2 small sprayers
The 4038r is not tall enough to apply fungicide in tasseled corn
@@6thGenFarmer Has the use of fungicide increased in recent years or decades? I've heard that there's a spread of disease in corn crops in the corn belt region.
@@lrn_news9171 there is a disease called tar spot that is spreading quickly across the midwest which can cause farmers to apply fungicide 3-4 times a year depending on the weather. We have not had any yet, but it is very close to us.
@@6thGenFarmer Are you south of the corn belt? I was watching videos on it and it's quite interesting. How extensively corn is grown and how it's in so many food products.
Another question, Ive been curious about this. Have you been applying more herbicides than previously and is it true that soil quality is slowly deteriorating in monocrop agriculture?
@@6thGenFarmer Where I lived growing up we mainly had dairy farms and I worked on one. I really enjoyed it.
