I adore this song and concept, and V just tops off the humour nicely. No idea why it caused such controversy at all and it was sad for them not to continue performing it as they seemed to have so much fun with it.
The other song you remember them saying "because of" (don't know how to write it in korean- gi ddaemune -I think is the romanized version) is Cypher pt 2 where JHope repeats that about each of them (because of JHope, because of Suga, because of RapMon) in the lil hook they have in that song.
Maybe you already know it but this is a songs Bts got much hate because people say that the Lyrics are misogynic. Bighit and Rm apologies for that Song and never perform it Live after that. So there are only few live performances they did from this song. After that Rm had a time when he get very insecure to write Lyrics anymore. Of course i can not speak for all but for me as a women i doesn't find the Lyrics misogyny. This is such a normal thing. Sex should never be taboo. This is why we have so many young people getting pregnant at a young age. They are questioning everything, and they want to find answers. If we talked more about it, they would be more aware of protection and less STD’s… but yeah…Korea is a bit too conservative.

Anyone who has even the slightest bit of interpretation and reads the title of the song, which is War of Hormone, knows that it is about feelings that men go through during puberty, and I will say that the words were well written because as a man I say, it is usually worse than that Haha, it's worth remembering that at that time BTS was in the school trilogy, which portrayed issues experienced by young people their own age, which continued to change in 2015 with the theme of youth and so on. Women who have problems with this music generally do the same to them and think the same way when they see them performing, they just don't have the courage to talk, so it's hypocrisy. These lyrics are very light compared to the crap I listen to here in Brazil. and it's also worth remembering that the world in 2014 was very different from 2024, I followed this internet era well. It's a shame they ruined a song as good as this!

Women sometimes compare their chests when they see Taehyung beckoning with both hands, but it's wrong. I hope you know that in Korea, it can be interpreted differently because it is sometimes used to express being cute as a gesture.
The whole controversy over this song happened years and years before I discovered them, and seems to have been a product of 1) bad translations that are, to be honest, pretty cringy and 2) another fandom wanting to latch on to any little thing they could to fuel the BTS hate train. I'll be honest - I'm not really a fan of the subject matter but I'm also not its target audience. The sound is great and the MV is cheeky and fun. I think the colorscape helps to set up this kind of teenage boy fantasy that I think the song is trying to capture with the monochrome + red emphasis. I might get some hate for this but I DON'T think it would be appropriate for them to perform this song now as men in their late 20's/early 30's, as much as some ARMY want to hear it, and I don't think they would. I definitely do not think that RM and BigHit deserved all the BS that happened surrounding this song, but I do think ultimately the self-examination it triggered was a positive thing and gave them a chance to explore a perspective they might not have before, as teenage boys. PS - the others are absolutely correct that the "Real War" version of this dance practice is a must-watch.

The whole controversy over this song happened years and years before I discovered them, and seems to have been a product of 1) bad translations that are, to be honest, pretty cringy and 2) another fandom wanting to latch on to any little thing they could to fuel the BTS hate train. I'll be honest - I'm not really a fan of the subject matter but I'm also not its target audience. The sound is great and the MV is cheeky and fun. I think the colorscape helps to set up this kind of teenage boy fantasy that I think the song is trying to capture with the monochrome + red emphasis.
I might get some hate for this but I DON'T think it would be appropriate for them to perform this song now as men in their late 20's/early 30's, as much as some ARMY want to hear it, and I don't think they would. I definitely do not think that RM and BigHit deserved all the BS that happened surrounding this song, but I do think ultimately the self-examination it triggered was a positive thing and gave them a chance to explore a perspective they might not have before, as teenage boys.
PS - the others are absolutely correct that the "Real War" version of this dance practice is a must-watch.
Penso que eles , falaram algo de dominio para eles. Exlafo era pra mostrar que eles são homens e tem suas necessidades e falhas. Sabe esse ideologia que os idols são inocentes e não fazem sexo, com certeza é mentira. Então não vejo mal na música.
