When facing Arkham's "dolphin" swarm, choose Gunslinger style and use the Kalina Ann to fire off a salvo of homing missiles to take out all the "dolphins." If you keep firing, Dante won't take a single hit from them. In a little known tidbit, if you have a second controller hooked up when Vergil joins the fight, the second player can control Vergil!

I'm positive that the reason it worked for Sparda is because he didn't steal the priestess blood. She gave it to him willingly. Lady did not.
That and the fact that unlike Arkham, Sparda was 100% Demon

Hes a psychopath that sacrificing woman is not wrong if you became a god. He probably never love them to begin with and married mary's mother because of her bloodline and concieve mary just to break the seal. I think they said they need a virgin with the same bloodline to break the last seal or something like that. Pretty impressive considering that would take dacades to plan.
We can agree this man was deeply sociopathic and manipulative given what he's done to Vergil and Lady, aswell as killing his wife. Dante has been screwed over by this man too, but tbh, it was more of an after-thought to him.

It has been 5 hours since I tried this boss fight and I CANT BEAT. These guys make look like its just your regular enemy throughout the game
This is a little late but I recommend equipping the rocket launcher for the leaches and for the boss I shoot him with ebony and ivory. When a quarter of his health is gone I start hitting him with the rebellion. When Vergil appears I start spamming rocket launcher, and hit him with a holy water. If you’re about to die he suggests keep your distance and just start shooting him.

@@zarcono4546 Well yeah Vergil dropped it then Dante took it then sold it for pizza later, and the dmc5 Vergil dlc isn't canon so he has Beowulf included

In the original version virgil was a walk in the park compared to this guy. The original release of devil may cry three was basically a souls game. You got your ass handed to you even on easy. Lol😂
