Something makes these people so comforting. They seem genuinely happy. They work hard, and have fun in their work, always a positive attitude. We can all learn from them.
Your maintenance logs are a very important part of a farm. Even the military use similar practices to keep track of maintenance needed and inspections. In aircraft maintenance we have systems that have to be working in order for that aircraft to fly. We then have maintenance repairs that are needed but allow it to sill fly, then you have parts that need to be replaced on a cycle to prevent damage to other systems and inspections based on use, operating time and even down time if the aircraft doesn’t fly for a designated time... we would keep track both on paper in a binder for that equipment and digitally for easy access to the entire record for each aircraft. I love seeing that sort of stuff in use in the civilian world....although it can suck to have to constantly deal with it at the end of a long day.
Big Thumbs Up , just for showing me that Beautiful , B I G Shop Building . I could fit my house , shop , travel trailer , all of my cars, trucks, & trailers , both of my tractors , both of my bulldozers , and all of my storage buildings , . . . . ALL , inside that building with plenty of room to spare . Dang that's a B I G building ! --- You folks must have some really high volume Air moving through those Bin floor slats , because I was kind of surprised not to see any Mice or their nests in the grain dust under the slat flooring .
Thanks for showing what a big farm is like. My father-in-law was a farmer spent lots of time on the farm. Loved it. Taught my children well about life and death.. how things grow and get harvested. ❤️
Hi JC here all the way from South-Africa like your videos! Used to work on a farm miss it so much, so now I just watch your videos to bring back memories.
Love the blue truck and getting a wash. The operation is very impressive. Modern farming is amazing. Son and dad working together, we could use more of that Family cooperation.
Keeping those record books on what & when you did something is GREAT and I hope your keeping a copy of the invoice!! As I see this from being a former Parts Manager all the time, and having you all wanting me to see if I can cover the part under warranty or not!!
Just me again from NYC, what an educational video. All the different steps to farming. Amazing and refreshing to watch. May God continue to bless you all. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Awesome project boy's, These kinds of projects can be the most fun so getting a kick out watching you interact. When I was a teenager we ran a bin building crew for Cenex. My Dad Uncle and friends of mine from school. This looked and sounded just like that.
This brings brings back memories of Me working with my Dad. Right in the middle of some difficult physical task he would quip, “Hey you do nice work...not much, but nice.” I miss my Dad and his Hanibal wit. Rest easy Dad, I got this.
you all prolly dont care but does anyone know of a trick to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my login password. I would appreciate any tips you can offer me.
@Angelo Augustus thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I ALWAYS WONDER HOW Those work, I'm from the Islands, 🏝 But, now live in the City...I think the country would be so beautiful, peaceful, Ruff, FUN, Playing in the hay and lots of things to look at. And riding some horse 🐎. BUT, I DIDN'T SEE NO 🙈 👀 MICE!!!!!! 💘 Love YOU ALLLs Chanel....
My old man and I did not get along that well and if we had cameras back then he would have probably smashed it in my face. I know it ain't always easy but life is too short you gotta have fun. Glad you guys are!
My grandma used to have thousands of chickens. There were mice the size of possums underground underneath the coup. They would come out at night and eat the feed, eggs, or any dead chicks laying around. Also had huge black snakes. She would lay out fake easter eggs and the snake would eat them and die.
Milwaukee makes a great self priming pump that would work awesome to empty the water out of the auger holes. But I guess you won’t be needing that anymore
Just found you guys tonight and wanted to peak in as you aren't too far from where I grew up in So Dak..........love your lay out there! Awesome layout and beautiful buildings.......Wow!
Chet, you're an amazing guy with a fantastic work ethic and a great disposition. You make coming to work as good as anybody could! Your Dad's lucky to have you.
Another nice video, thank you guys! If you want to see the OG Big Swede from another era, look for "Here Come the Brides" TV show, season 1, episode 7 lol No longer on UA-cam right now for some reason. Really appreciate you sharing what goes on there with all of us!
I’m thinking of inviting a bin sweep from the roof down! Multi grain storage in 1 BIN! Lol. Are u interested Chet?! I mean Dougoooooo!!!! Lol. I’ve done it too
Just found your channel. Sometimes I miss living in a farm town. I grew up in the first farm town north of Flint Michigan. I don't miss loading hay bails onto flat trailers. Only did that one end of summer part time. Never again. Just an idea. Use a brass hammer when you're pounding out those edge bolts around the bottom outside edge so Y'all don't mess up the threads. It kinda sucks trying to get the nuts back on later if the end of the thread is FUBARed.
Great video. Today I learned how the floor ventilation works in those storage bins. I never knew that they were built that way. Keep em coming. Thanks.
That's so funny, my work truck is a 93 and looks just like that truck. Last month I went to use the wipers and they would not shut off. I had to replace the motor. I think the parking switch went out.
Dougo being the "Boss" and saying, "You better give a thumbs up" caused me to immediately do so!! Chet and the Big Swede are a good team! Erik is funnier than Chet! Liked the video!
I have a 2016 dodge ram and that was my first thought "Wtf is this knob??". Funny, I have a 2007 dodge charger that is the same color as your truck. Sublime!
On older GM vehicles, if the wipers aren't parking it is usually an easy fix. You'll see a ground strap from the body to the wiper motor. Loosen the bolt and re-tighten. If it's really corroded use a wire brush on it when its loose. I've fixed many just by doing that. peace
I subscribed a few weeks ago. I’ve been watching Cole the cornstar, enjoy both but you make me laugh 😆. Think with time you’ll be up to where cold is on subscribers. You, Dougo and the big S, sure know how to make working pleasurable. Def makes the time go quicker. Cheers and thx for awesome 👏 entertainment during this pandemic
I am a Larsen, not a Larson, but you can't fill those bins with fish, but I bet soy can make fish food. Thats a lot of bins, and how many acres of soy to fill those things? Big big operation!! I watched someone build those bins...from the top down, who woulda thought.
I didn't like the knob when I first got my ram, but have gotten used to it. Just do not put the truck into reverse going 65 when you think you are turning up the radio. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for showing what a big farm is like. My father-in-law was a farmer spent lots of time on the farm. Loved it. Taught my children well about life and death.. how things grow and get harvested. ❤️
OK where are the mice?
There’s not any
They're eating the rest of the click bait......
Damn what? :(
Click Bait doncha know?
was thinking the same thing...
I like the vibe between you and the big Swede and how responsible and mature you are Chet! Keep up the good work!
Hi JC here all the way from South-Africa like your videos! Used to work on a farm miss it so much, so now I just watch your videos to bring back memories.
FASCINATING! My crews in the steel biz processed 1000's of tons of bin and dryer stock. Soooooo very nice to see its final assembly and use.
I love how well you and your dad get along. Miss my dad. You guys are awesome
james may I’d do anything to get away from mine
Yes don’t take that for granted!!! Sure enjoy the videos....
I miss mine too everyday 💔😭😭😭
Ikr. My dad and me don’t speak for many reasons. But mainly cause he’s so negative
Mod Squad sad thing....
Love the blue truck and getting a wash. The operation is very impressive. Modern farming is amazing. Son and dad working together, we could use more of that
Family cooperation.
I have been in manufacturing maintenance 30 years an i still use that book , all time best tool .
Nice to see a young man in farming!
Thumbs up 👍 for Dougo and the boys!!! Good job guys.
Dougo said you better give it a thumbs up so I listened and gave a thumbs up.👍
Very entertaining and fun to watch. Thanks for posting this.
Keeping those record books on what & when you did something is GREAT and I hope your keeping a copy of the invoice!! As I see this from being a former Parts Manager all the time, and having you all wanting me to see if I can cover the part under warranty or not!!
Interesting gentlemen. Here’s my thumbs up. 👍👍👍👍. Enjoy how you fellers work together. Like the color of your truck Chet.
Just me again from NYC, what an educational video. All the different steps to farming. Amazing and refreshing to watch. May God continue to bless you all. 👍🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Farmers Rock, Thanks for doing what you do.Thanks.
Don't know nothing about what I just watched, I watched for the hunks... Eye candy, nice.
Thanks for the videos I really enjoy watching 🇺🇸👍🙏

@Maddox Ronin Instablaster :)
@Angelo Augustus thanks for your reply. I got to the site on google and I'm in the hacking process atm.

@Angelo Augustus It worked and I actually got access to my account again. I am so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my ass!
@Maddox Ronin Glad I could help xD

I’ve never heard an accent like yours, pretty cool. - New Hampshire
Not cool with the click bait tho 🙄
First time I found this channel and wow that’s a heavy Minnesota accent
Omg first time too and that's exactly what I said. I couldn't stop thinking it lmao
I was wondering why he sounded so normal.
Gave it a thumbs down, only because you fibbed on the title.
It's pretty cool to hear. Amazing how accents have their origins and are maintained throughout different areas of the country.
We don’t have accents
Thumbnail says how many mice...
Tore down a grain bin once when I was a teenager. Found 6 full grown opossums under the floor!
My grandma used to have thousands of chickens. There were mice the size of possums underground underneath the coup. They would come out at night and eat the feed, eggs, or any dead chicks laying around. Also had huge black snakes. She would lay out fake easter eggs and the snake would eat them and die.
Dougo just randomly yelling stuff from the Bobcat lol. "What are you doing with the chain?" "Don't get that stuff on me".
This was the video I discovered this channel on.
Thank you farmers! You are awesome.
Thanks for another sweet video always awesome to watch what’s new.
Good to see you looking so well Andy 👍 don't forget to come to Ireland when you get stronger . Prayers are with you
Amazing how much work Doug O gets done with the type of help he has. Great job Doug O!
God bless.
That little bobcat cracks me up when you look at all the rest of your equipment. 😂
that lil bobcat gets things done!
Great farmers are a national treasure!
Great video and life. Grain bins are something. Bad day when they explode. Here's hoping nature and markets are all in your favor. :D
Your bin setup is amazing
Total respect for farming folks
Milwaukee makes a great self priming pump that would work awesome to empty the water out of the auger holes. But I guess you won’t be needing that anymore
I agree with others that the accent is easy on the ear and understandable 🇬🇧
Just found you guys tonight and wanted to peak in as you aren't too far from where I grew up in So Dak..........love your lay out there! Awesome layout and beautiful buildings.......Wow!
Good to see young people in the farming industry,
I REALLY RESPECT YOU FOLKS FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY !!! May God Bless You All Abundantly. Sincerely, Gary Parker.
love the office / control centre
I like the look of that green truck
Chet, you're an amazing guy with a fantastic work ethic and a great disposition.
You make coming to work as good as anybody could! Your Dad's lucky to have you.
All looks really nice.
Old parts man here, on the Chevy wiper issue, get a wiper motor circuit board. Very easy to change and inexpensive.
its usually just a ground issue, but im pretty sure he was just twisting too much and activating the wiper spray.
Try building one of those bins during the late spring or during the summer time!!
That office with the diamond back metal cabinet doors and wainscot is the height of cool.
Agreed
Another nice video, thank you guys! If you want to see the OG Big Swede from another era, look for "Here Come the Brides" TV show, season 1, episode 7 lol No longer on UA-cam right now for some reason. Really appreciate you sharing what goes on there with all of us!
‘Bobcat’s been here recently.’ Classic farm humor.
Excellent video God bless you guys
That’s a heck of a operation
I’m thinking of inviting a bin sweep from the roof down! Multi grain storage in 1 BIN! Lol. Are u interested Chet?! I mean Dougoooooo!!!! Lol. I’ve done it too

Props for the tracking comment.

Enjoyed the video , good people having a great time! Thanks for sharing it.
This is the first video that got me watching Larson farms videos, I blame Chet for getting me addicted to watching them.
Loved it, ty for sharing, but I saw no mice... Baited.
Duggo is the MAN
Why have I just found this channel, I love this stuff
8:00 Chet "its hard to turn when somethings between its legs" Just another word of wisdom from Larson Farms!!
Be thankful for rain. Only 2” in NW Ohio since June 6 and it’s been in last week. Very dry here. I remember the bin work as a kid🤦♂️
im from sweden and shine up when i see an larson my name is that too :) peace out
I wanna hear these guys talk after a few beers in them lol.
That was one dirty job boys, well done 😃👍👏👏👏
I get tired just watching you folks...so much to do...and it is hard dusty work! Bet you feel good at the end of a day!!
Great video Guys
Looks like that’s a lot of work but probably be worth it and dougo and his little bobcat but it is probably pretty handy keep up the great work Chet
Sublime!
I've been to Minnesota so many times the second I head this guys voice I knew were he was from.
Was Dugo a basketball player in his younger days. He has a beautiful defensive slide. 😂😂😂 When he was hauling out the sweep. By himself mind you 😁
I love these videos my favorite pass time

I just found this channel and oh lord that's a nice shop! I could live in there.
I love the comment about your muscle shirt , comparing Cole The Corn Star . Don't worry , leaner torso is better ......
I subscribed a few weeks ago. I’ve been watching Cole the cornstar, enjoy both but you make me laugh 😆. Think with time you’ll be up to where cold is on subscribers. Great video. I'm learning so much about farming and how much it takes to run one. It's also great to see the family aspect as well.
If I could I would give Dougo two thumbs up a couple dozen times. Lol
Good job and entertaining as usual. Thank you.🤓🤓

Must be nice to work with pops
I hadn't realized just what a factory a modern farm is.
14 minutes in and then.....so thankful for FF...
Great video thanks
Chet I can see that truck from my place in Eden SD. enjoy all your videos. Nicole does a nice job editing but she needs to post more of her videos
Farm life is never easy or finished, there’s always something that needs to be done ✅. All the best wishes for the future of Larsons Farm.
Thats my life and I dont live on a farm.
Really enjoy watching you guys! Keep up the great work!
Go team Larson what great team work. You work hard but work well together. There is time for a laugh as well. Top video Chet keep them coming.
