Holy cats what did they do to the wheel of fortune theme!? The late 80’s/early 90’s theme was awesome, this sounds like something you hear at a Las Vegas casino.
Okay, last night during “Jeopardy!” while it was on commercial break, CBS accidentally announced “Wheel of Fortune” at it’s wrong time period which was 7:30p.m. because it didn't start 'til approx @1:50a.m. after “The Late Late Show”.
This is the closing theme music to the 2006-2016 version of the Merv Griffin game show "Wheel of Fortune". The 1975 version was hosted by the late Chuck Woolery and on December 28, 1981, Pat Sajak took over. This music is titled "Happy Wheels" and was written by Frankie Blue.
If they did things the old-fashioned way by having Charlie (RIP) read all fee plugs at the end of the show instead of putting commercials in their places, we'd get to hear those rarely heard parts of the theme. Charlie would've talked right over them, but at least we'd get to hear them.
I'm very glad I finally got a chance to hear the full 2006 theme, but I'm sorry to say that I still don't like this as the theme. It's ok music and good for a prize cue, but NOT a main theme. I still believe the next theme should be an updated version of "Changing Keys". It's what we all want.
The bad news is that Wheel of Fortune won't be on 10T.V. on March 21st & 22nd because of Cbs Sports. But the good news is that Wheel of Fortune will still be on 10T.V. on the weekends.
So Jeopardy! & Wheel of Fortune started 5 hours early on 10T.V. today & it's just for this Saturday & next weekend, Jeopardy! & Wheel of Fortune are back on 10T.V. on Sundays, Rats!
Spanned from Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Monique, Bonnie Rockwaller's 12th Grade Senior Year 2006-2007, through Lori Marie Loud, Bobby "Boo-Boo-Bear" Santiago, Carol Pingrey's 12th Grade Senior Year until December 2016
@iluvlittleshop921 I disagree, the 1989 edition of "Changing Keys" is the best. The 2002 edition of "Happy Wheel" was ok, but still contend that "Changing Keys" should have NEVER been removed from the show. Period.
I heard Wheel of Fortune got moved to 12:30a.m. on Sundays because Jeopardy! took Wheel of Fortune's old time slot on Sundays so I get to record it again before I go to bed tomorrow night.
Frankie Blue & John Hoke should be composers for Jeopardy! than Chris Bell. Can somebody call them and tell them to compose Jeopardy! for 2011-2012 season(maybe not) but for the 2012-2013 season of Jeopardy!
Theme songs usually sound better, or at least different, without audience noise. Ever since they started using this music I've thought it was very weak. I looked this up thinking that maybe it'd sound better without applause behind it. It's one of the only ones I've heard that actually sounds worse on its own. It's empty, generic, and really just plain hokey- twice as much so without a cheering audience backing it up.
Okay, can't DVR Wheel of Fortune because of NCAA March Madness that's the bad news, but the good news is that I still get to DVR The Price Is Right staring Drew Carey! Come on down!
Now I get to hear this "Wheel of Fortune" Theme Music again on my Nintendo Wii Edition of "Wheel of Fortune" anytime when I feel like playing it!🎮📀🥳
Holy cats what did they do to the wheel of fortune theme!? The late 80’s/early 90’s theme was awesome, this sounds like something you hear at a Las Vegas casino.
Thank God! It took four years to wait for this, all thank for the Wii.
Wheel seems to be the game show that changed its theme music more than any other game show ever did.
I agree with you. it’s like. It changes its music every few seasons.
We'll miss you, Pat Sajak!😢
My favorite WOF theme song. FUNKY!!!

I wish they had kept this theme song. It is so catchy
love that up beat jazzy sound/ the horns are right on (Q)

I heard Wheel of Fortune is back on 10T.V. on Monday April 1st because that CBS Sports will be over.
This is the best one in my opinion
So Jeopardy! & Wheel of Fortune started 5 hours early on 10T.V. today & it's just for this Saturday & next weekend, Jeopardy! & Wheel of Fortune are back on 10T.V. on Sundays, Rats!
The 1989-1992 theme will forever be the Wheel of Fortune theme for me. All the other ones aren't bad either.
I only started watching about year ago so i think this will always be my favorite.

I started watching night time wheel in 1983 and changing keys is my favorite.@@John-Laird
I liked this theme music version of Wheel of Fortune in the late 2000's to now, since 2006 to the present.
Spanned from Kim Possible, Ron Stoppable, Monique, Bonnie Rockwaller's 12th Grade Senior Year 2006-2007, through Lori Marie Loud, Bobby "Boo-Boo-Bear" Santiago, Carol Pingrey's 12th Grade Senior Year until December 2016
I heard that Wheel of Fortune starts 5 hours early on 10T.V. this weekend because we lose an hour this weekend.
Frankie Blue Was Born on April 30, 1974 And the Founder Of 360 Music.
James Horner is Part of 360 Music.
I wish they can add this one back
Yeah right?
Even though everyone loves Changing Keys, this is my personal fav

@FrenzyMedia - Your former place for craziness. Bring Back The Old 2006 Wheel Of Fortune Theme Song.
Okay, I was right, Wheel of Fortune was on 10T.V. this weekend way before CBS Sports resumes.
I heard that Wheel of Fortune and The Westfield Insurance Brain Game are going back to their normal time periods next weekend.
Thank God my head is almost better for Wheel of Fortune.
I also heard that Wheel of Fortune took The Westfield Insurance Brain Game's time period for a while because it doesn't start til' 9:00p.m. & 9:30p.m.
@iluvlittleshop921 I disagree, the 1989 edition of "Changing Keys" is the best.

This Wheel of Fortune theme from 2006-2016 and Pat Sajak show the final moments of $25,000 envelope on September 17, 2010.
Joshua Padiernos this was actually ripped directly from the files of the Wii game
The theme song i grew up On
Me too. It's my childhood.
So, Wheel of Fortune will still be on 10T.V. @7:30p.m. after the extended hour of the CBS evening news with Scott Pelley.
7 Wheel of Fortune's on 10T.V. in 2013
This is excellent! Are you planning on getting any of the other cues from the Wii game?
89 - 92 was the best 4 me
@telewatcher89 the 2002-06 theme is the BEST!!
I heard that Wheel of Fortune gets to be on 10TV next Saturday @7:30p.m.
So Wheel of Fortune won't be on 10T.V. tonight but The Price Is Right will still be on 10T.V. @11a.m.
I heard that Wheel of Fortune gets to be on 10T.V. on the late night @12:30a.m. after Jeopardy!
Okay, Wheel of Fortune will be tommorrow on a different station, on 10T.V., NCAA March Madness continues tommorrow @7p.m.
I heard that Wheel of Fortune is on 10T.V. 2 times on Thursday @3:07a.m and again @7:30p.m.

Okay, Wheel of Fortune will be back in 2 Saturdays @ 7P.M. After the CBS Evening News.
When the prime time shows are about to come on 😂
@Nate52295 As it stands, I have them all. This is the only one I was interested in uploading
In hindsight, shame on me for this comment. Wouldn't have hurt to put all the tracks in a zip somewhere
I love this theme the best. Sorry.
Sounds like something from a newer Sonic game
@telewatcher89 I meant compared to this one, not in general!
will not *whill*
Are you sure this is the current Happy Wheels theme song? In which version?
Happy Wheels hasn't been the theme since 2017. "Changing Keys" actually came back last year
That's a trombone solo at 1:47 right?
Maybe It's The CREDITS Theme.
Yeah it was the credits theme
The beginning theme was way different during this theme's time
