Glasses are for distractions. Get lost in the music. Can either close eyes and just let the soul play or keep yourself from being distracted by things such as lighting, crowd movement ect...
Then why the decorations? Tatoos, hair, ears, sunglasses, clothing. Body image means a lot to him. I love his talent and he does not need body mutilation for fame. Talent is more than enough.
