The dal makhni is frozen so it tastes weird..otherwise Indian food has a lot of varieties and it’s 10/10..every 100 kms the cuisine changes..india is diverse in food

We watched Pakistan-Srilanka match at Hyderabad stadium on the 10th Oct Anya, Pakistan played really well, spl mention of Mohd Rizwan with 131*. Really enjoyed it. Amazing win MashaAllah. The stadium atmosphere is totally different..! Very lively👍 Hyderabad is a very secular city btw. We could hear chants of Pakistan jeetega on an Indian territory. Just imagine. Actually ppl on both the sides are good, the politicians spoil it all

Indians living in India never buy or eat Instant meals like these. These are targeted to pure vegetarians or jains who find it difficult to find veg n vegan food options abroad. They usually carry loads of RTE ( ready to eat ) food items to survive.

Are yaar, why are you having synthetic, processed food? Dal and chawal is cooked separately and it depends on the geography on whether you like it thick (dal makhani in the north) or thin (varan or rasam in West/South)
Also, it’s not masoor daal. Dal makhani is made out of black urad dal.
True foodies eat these instant meals only in times of duress - eg on a vacation if you are a vegetarian.
Dal makhni is Urad dal and its instant that's why it would taste weird. Dalmakhni is the Dal made with lots of makhan or cream! and its eaten with naan.

Packaged food doesn't taste so good ... But when you'll eat authentic daal makhani it is so creamy and full of aromas of herbs and spices and it is not so running in consistency

Curry patta is found in South Indian food. You have eaten only one type of Indian food and giving judgment. Get some more exposure!

UAE has a lot of people from Kerala and curry patta is a staple in their curries (as it is in Tamil Nadu). Eg some of the Kerala bakeries have curry leaves in croissants also. You must have eaten food made by someone from Kerala.
