I live in the Bay Area of California. I can appreciate what you guys go through, because I am zone pushing some palms here. I have definitely noticed that the first year I put a new plant in the ground, it's growth is very lack luster. The second year though, that's when the plant is now used to it's new environment and really starts to do well. For people who purchase a new marginal plant that wasn't grown locally, keep it protected and expect that it will not do as well in the first year as it will in the next.
I will see if I can get it. I tagged along with a friend so don't have it readily available. Looking for the guy's ad, I was unable to find it. My friend originally found him through a Craigslist ad.
No luck in getting the contact info and I still don't see any ads (maybe he only runs them in spring/summer?) You can try palms northwest which is in Auburn.

I've had a very similar experience here.
Those nurserys get me so giddy, I cant really expain why ahaha. So beautiful to look at! Having them grow outside is key! I agree
I wish I had the space to really do it.
Many beautiful plants! 👍😀
He had a good selection. Also he grows everything here which means it's not going to look drastically different when you take it home and plant it.
Nice! Been hard to find Mediterranean Fan Palms around Seattle for sale
Yeah he had a bunch and pretty sizeable too.
I've seen them in Auburn before at Palms Northwest also.
I'd love to go here. Is it possible he's open to public so I can buy some palms?. Another great video
Here's his Craigslist ad -
